Pakistani Sensation Adeel Chaudhary To Debut With Rhythm

 

 

Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar have carved a niche for themselves in Bollywood, and now another Canadian based performer from across the border – Adeel Chaudhary is ready to mark his Bollywood debut.

The actor-singer, who marked his acting debut with the super hit Pakistani TV series “Kaise Tumse Kahoon”, first accessed the Indian market with his international commercial for Pepsi and then shot to fame with his chartbuster album ‘Koi Chehra’. He has also bagged the MTV award for his chartbuster song ‘Move Your Body’ featuring Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. After featuring alongside Shah Rukh Khan in three ads, he is now ready to take Bollywood by storm with writer-director Vivek Kumar’s upcoming musical romantic film ‘Rhythm’.

 

Vivek says, “Since I always wanted to cast fresh faces in the film, it was important for me to place a face to the character to which the audience can immediately connect. I instantly knew that Adeel fits the bill when I saw the audition he had sent me. My faith in Adeel's ability to play Rohan was such that the first time we met was on the first day of the shoot.”

 

With so many achievements already under his belt, this Pakistani sensation is certainly a debutant to look forward to in this musical romantic film shot in the scenic locales of Poland.

Sanjay Dutt to be released on 25th February 2016

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who has been serving the remainder of his five year term in Yerwada jail, Pune will finish his term on February 25th.

Contrary to media reports that have been doing the rounds stating various dates of his release, its confirmed that the actor will be released in the early hours of 25th February.  

The actor has served for more than the 50 months out of the 60 month's sentence that was announced by the government. A regular remission was granted to Sanjay Dutt by the authorities on account of good conduct.

Travis Kalanick to visit IIT-Bombay for a session on ‘Entrepreneurship’

Travis Kalanick, Founder & CEO of Uber, the fastest growing start-ups in the world, will be in Mumbai onTuesday, 19th January 2016 at 3.30pm for a keynote address and a fireside chat with Mr. Ronnie Screwvala, Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist at the Indian Institute of Bombay – Powai, as part of his three-day visit to India.

Shraddha Kapoor was recently spotted hanging on the exterior of a 34 storey building.

Yes, you heard that right! The young actress was literally hanging off a harness on the exterior wall of the Four Season Hotel, Worli.

Shraddha undertook the activity as a part of training for an Ad shoot.

The Ad required the actor to do rapelling on the exterior of a building.

Shraddha who has currently turned into a hardcore adventurous due to her upcoming film Baaghi.

The actress has been enjoying performing action for Baaghi too.

When the requirements of the Ad film were conveyed to the young actor, she became excited to try her hand at rapelling.

Shraddha is to feature in Baaghi opposite Tiger Shroff in addition to Rock On 2 alongside Farhan Akhtar.

Divya Khosla Kumar dons her directorial hat on the sets of Big Boss with Pulkit Samrat and Salman Khan in an intense love scene!

Divya Khosla Kumar has commenced her promotions spree for her upcoming directorial venture Sanam Re with a bang! Started with the title song launch at an Arijit Singh concert to radio promotions and she also visited the famed Big Boss house with her lead actor, Pulkit Samrat. Contrary to popular beliefs that all is not well between Pulkit Samrat and Big Boss Salman Khan, it was great to see the warm camaraderie the two share refuting all reports of a so called fall out. The fall out was said to be due to Salman Khans connection with Pulkits now ex wife Shweta Rohira but the fact that Pulkit was present for the Big Boss shoot squashes all this. Ironically, there is another connection between director Divya Khosla Kumar and Salman Khan. The last time Divya was seen onscreen was for a music video called "Honey Honey" with Salman Khan all the way back in 2004!! 

So many connections, this Big Boss episode was as interesting outside the house as it is inside! Divya took the directors mantle and directed a scene with Salman playing Pulkit's character in the film "Akash" and Pulkit playing Yami's character  of "Shruti."  The scene was hilarious as Salman and Pulkit enacted an intense love scene with Akash (salman) asking Shruti (Pulkit), "Kya Tum Mujhse Pyaar Nahi Karti?" Pulkit who could not control his laughter but then sunk into the female character intensely said that, "Har Lamha Har Pal Bas Tumhi Se Pyaar Kiya Hain!" The scene not only entertained the audience, but also displayed the warm relationship that Salman and Pulkit share, putting rest to all the recent rumours and of course, Divya was very happy with the way things shaped up!

To reach young and upwardly mobile audiences who spend more time on the internet and mobile phones than television, two stars of the film – Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari, have featured on the latest episode of the hotstar Originals series ‘M Bole Toh’, sharing memories from their childhoods, and of shooting for the forthcoming film. With Aditi belonging to the royal family of Hyderabad and Farhan’s deep connections with the film industry, the episode offers unique and entertaining insights from individuals of two very different backgrounds and perspectives.

In a funfilled segment of the episode, Farhan and Aditi are seen fending questions ranging from whether they have ever cheated in a relationship, to when was the first time they made love, to whether they have manipulated anyone.

In one of the segments of the show hosted by the lively Malishka, Farhan goes on to reveal:

“Salman was like an older brother to me. He taught me how to cycle and skateboard!”

Farhan also says, “Hrithik, Uday, Adi, Abhishek, Goldie and I have spent a lot of time together; there used to be lots of birthday parties. I remember there used to be a lot of dance competitions back then, which were a lot of fun. Can you guess who would win these? Adi (Aditya Chopra) used to win all dance competitions! Adi was the dancing champion. He was the guy to beat. Can you imagine that?!”

While not many are aware of Aditi’s royal lineage and that she is related to Kiran Rao, she goes on to reveal that she had quite a normal childhood. She says, “I had quite a junglee bachpan. Chui mui, mitti mein mat khelo type bachpan nahin tha. I was completely like a free-spirited kid and was encouraged to be that. I used to play dumb charades, pictionary, pakdam pakdai, 7 tiles, pitthu etc.” 

In one of the other segments on the show where Farhan and Aditi were urged to describe their industry friends in a hashtag, the two can be seen mimicking all their colleagues -- senior or junior; they spare none!

The episode surely would have been incomplete without Farhan and Aditi sharing their experience of working with the Big B himself. Farhan says:

“I came into the industry as Mr. Bachchan’s work inspired me. Between shots and during free time, I used to always go up to Mr. Bachchan and talk about his films that influenced me. So we spoke a lot about Deewar, Sholay, Shakti. Wanted to know from his point of view what that whole experience was like, how he approached certain scenes. He shared everything with me. It was a wonderful experience to spend time with him.” 

Aditi says -

“Mr. Bachchan's amazing command over the language is something that I would like to imbibe. He effortlessly delivers the most complicated lines.”

Wazir is an upcoming action thriller starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar in lead roles along with Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Manav Kaul in supporting roles and a cameo by John Abraham. Synopsis:          “DADDY’S HOME” follows the life of a mild-mannered radio executive (Will Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Mark Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

Luck be a lady in Bollywood actress and model Neha Dhupia for the hosts of NBA Games recently.  Last week it was the Chicago Bulls and now it’s the New York Knicks who won the game when Neha stepped in their arena! 

After enjoying the Pacers Vs Bulls game last week, Neha Dhupia traveled straight to New York to catch the NY Knicks Vs Atlanta Hawks game last night.

Being a basketball enthusiast, Neha is often seen courtside and on court every time her schedule allows. Post the Knicks’ win, Neha also had the opportunity to meet with New York Knicks legend Walt Frazier, who was the floor general during the franchise's only two NBA Championships in 1970 and 1973.

She was also seen deeply immersed in conversation with the Knicks’ rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis from Latvia.

Looks like Neha surely had a ‘Baller’ of a time!
