Badmashiyaan Trailer was launched

A hilarious skit and some really crazy revelations, that was the launch of Vijay Gutte’s BADMASHIYAAN – trailer launch. The event was graced by the entire cast, namely Gunjan Malhotra, Karan Mehra, Sidhanth Gupta, Suzzana Mukherjee and Sharib Hashmi and also the director of the film Amit Khanna.

Staying true to their title, the event was freckled with the stars of the film sharing many instances with the media about their various BADMASHIYAAN on the sets. Remembering one such instance, director Amit Khanna spoke about the day he conned none other than the ‘Haryanvi don’ himself, Sharib Hashmi, “During the sequence, I suddenly told Sharib he has to kiss Suzzanna in the shot thinking he will be shocked but Sharib was totally fine with it and he came on the sets all clean shaven. When we told him there was to be no kiss, it was merely a prank he was surprised but then he started laughing at the whole scenario!”

Badmaashiyaan – Fun Never Ends is a twisted ROM-COM, directed by Amit Khanna, produced by Vijay Gutte, Co-produced by Baahul and Anurag Shrivastav, under the banner of VRG motion pictures, slated for 27th February 2015 release.

CCL to raise funds for expansion of new celebrity format

CCL looking to raise Funds for its expansion into New Celebrity Formats.

Sachiin Joshi who has business interests in Hospitality, Real Estate and Media is now keen to acquire stake in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). 

CCL is the second most popular league in India after IPL which is now in its fifth season. Source close to the company reveals that Sachiin Joshi has been the title sponsor of CCL promoting his brands like XXX Energy Drink over the last two years and is very excited with the reach CCL has delivered to his brands and now is looking at investing in CCL in the next round of fund raising that CCL is working on.

Over the last four seasons CCL has been growing year on year in its popularity and reach. Over the years CCL has garnered pan india reach and it's regional strength is its USP. In few regional pockets it is the most viewed sporting league due to its localised content and local stars. 

CCL is planning to start newer formats other that T20 Cricket and for this expansion the company is looking at raising funds from strategic investors who will help the company in more than just financialinvestment.

"We are very excited about CCL 5 as it brought us in to cash positive. We are looking at adding more celebrity formats in to the company and to do so we are looking at fund raising which will help us expand" says Vishnu Induri, Founder of CCL.

When contacted Sachiin Joshi about the transaction, he said that he has been closely observing the growth of CCL over the last 2 years and is keen in participating in the next round of fund raising by the company. When asked about the Valuation and amount being invested, he said that it is too early to talk about it now.

Kriti Sanon buys her first own car

, who made her big debut with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti will be seen getting out of her brand new car on the red carpet of the award functions this award season.

Kriti has recently bought her first own car, a BMW 3 series to celebrate her win at the award functions this season.

There is a lot that the young actress feels thankful about. After getting a dream debut under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner with Heropanti, the actress signed her next films; Singh is Bling and Farzi.

Now, this award season as well, Kriti is overwhelmed with the recognition that she has been receiving in the form of awards.

She is very humbled with the love, appreciation and acceptance that she has been receiving from the industry as well as the audiences, despite being a complete outsider.

Kriti (born and brought up in Delhi) when she first came to Bombay, it was not certain how long she would be here, so she bought a second hand Honda City for commuting that time.

Now that she has paved her way in the industry and she is here to stay, she has bought this new car.

When contacted Kriti, she shares, "First Heropanti and now recognition for it at my first award season, I feel truly blessed. I was toying with the idea of buying the car for sometime now, but this seemed to be the perfect time to treat myself."

Hawaizaada makers re-create the 1895 Era.

The makers created an entire city from scratch in gondal gujarat, near rajkot.

Vibhu Puri who is making his directorial debut with Hawaizaada, was keen to shoot the film in real locations.

The film being set in the 1895 era, it was difficult to find real locations.

The makers travelled extensively to remote parts, villages all over India, finding a desired location as they were not keen to shoot the film on a set.

They wanted to encapsulate the era of 1895 hence re-created an entire city in Gondal, Gujarat.

In order to maintain the authenticity of the era and avoid fabrication, the makers kept every single detail in mind and re-created the set from scratch.

The director made it a point to look into the nuance elements of the era while reconstructing the infrastructure. A major chunk of the film has been shot there.

The entire team has managed to bring out the era brilliantly on silver screen.

The trailer and music of the film has been garnering a lot of appreciation from the industry and is all set to release on 30th January.

Fourth Poster of Hawaizaada

Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.

The film is based on the life of a scientist named Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who was known for having created India’s first 

​unmanned​

 aeroplane.

Sandesh Shandilya has composed and co-produced a world music symphony that will premiere in Cologne.

Sandesh Shandilya who has composed the music for 27 Indian films, including Chameli and Jab We Met has been working on a world music symphony, Search For Buddha, which will have its world premiere in Cologne, Germany, on February 6, followed by a show in Bielefeld the next day, and then a UK premiere in London. Sandhesh also plans to have shows around the world and in India too.

The composer always wanted to create music with a message of world peace. Buddha became the symbol after he took a course in Vipassana Meditation which put him in touch with his inner self through 10 days of silence. "I learnt that by conquering anger, lust, greed, fear and attachment, you can be at peace with yourself and bring peace to the world," he recalls.

Buddha's inner journey will be traversed by 60 musicians from Germany, Hungary, UK Japan, the Middle East, South Africa and India, 40 members of the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra and the WDR Radio Choir and five soloists, including Rhani Kriya, Strings' percussionist on the drums and Markus Stockhaousen, his co-producer, on the trumpet/flugelhorn. "During rehearsals I noticed that the music sounded western classical so I decided to draw musicians from all over," he says.

Sandesh has also arranged the music with Christopher Masand and will do some folk-singing. The symphony will be conducted by Wayne Marshall, but some day soon, like Zubin Mehta, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Illayaraja and Pyarelal, Sandesh would like to conduct too.

All the musicians have been gifted a CD of Rang Ransiya. "Marcus introduced me to the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra, they loved the symphony and when they quizzed on my previous work, I played Rang Rasiya for them which mesmerised them," he reminisces.

Currently the Composer is working on iPad with Road to Sangam director Amit Roy, Satrah Ko Shaadi for John Abraham, Time Out and Sudhir Mishra's Aur Devdas.

“Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi”

Producers Mr.Virender K. Arora, an agriculturist magnate& Arjun N.Kapoor talk about their film “Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi” and further reveal their plans of taking over B-Town one film at a time.  

Virender Arora and Arjun N. Kapoor, after venturing into film production with their first feature ‘Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi’ have expanded their slate to produce 3 films in this calendar yearin collaboration with leading studios and top production houses of the industry.

“Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi”, which is a complete family entertainer, has an ensemble cast of nine principal artists starring Pankaj Kapur, Lara Dutta, Kay Kay Menon, Rajeev Khandelwal, Sanah Kapur and Himansh Kohli, with three more actors. Arora & Kapoor should be credited for keeping the cast under wraps successfully for so long. So far, all the names that have been revealed by the producers has impressed one and all considering the unique, out of the box casting for a film of this kind. The actors revealed are amongst the strongest performers from the industry that will be seen on screen together. The project is currently in the pre-production stage and is slated to release in early 2016in collaboration with a leading studio.

“Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi” deals with four different couples of varying age groups and their love stories. The film will seamlessly weave in and connect the journeys of all the couples as the story unfolds.The youth, liveliness and energy amongst the characters will be portrayed in a completely fresh way in our film.

In the midst of the five heroes in the film, the producers will be introducing a male debutant.In his first film, the debutant not only gets to play a dream romantic lead but also shares screen space with some of the finest actors of the Hindi film industry. Having bagged two more films post “Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi”, his experience here will hold him in good stead for his future endeavors.

The next in the pipeline is a period musical love story tentatively titled “Sitaarey”.This film is a youthful, romantic musical inspired by the golden era of the 70’s about rising stars. This will be the 2^nd of the 3 films planned for 2015.

 Mr. Arora reiterates that romance and music will be the essential ingredients of all the films, as these two elements are and have been the main source of connect to the Indian audience. “We as a team are a varied mix of individuals but have a common thread of a zeal for life and positivity that connects us. “The Eichmann Show” Co-produced by Sheetal Talwar garners rave reviews

Mumbai, 23^rd January, 2015: Acclaimed British actor who was last seen in ‘The Hobbit’ recently showcased his latest feature ‘The Eichmann Show’ at the prestigious BAFTA theatre in London.

The film marks a one of its kind collaboration, boasting a strong India connect, with noted film producer Sheetal Talwar having co-produced this film with the BBC and BAFTA Winner and Nominee, Lawrence Bowen and Ken Marshall respectively.

The film has been garnering rave reviews following its UK showcase, with The Telegraph in London calling it “Absolutely Enthralling” and The Guardian stating it was “Full of good actors and good intentions”.  The Independent called it ‘A deft docu-drama that puts Eichmann back in the dock’ and the daily mail reviewed it saying “The Eichmann Show made us remember how easily hatred can engulf whole nations.
