Hate Story 2 review by ANIZ FILMVALA

Hate Story 2

review by

 ANIZ FILMVALA

*****

Hate Story 2 had to be a nasty vendetta tale of sex, hate and love. The intensity of retribution is nowhere; instead a ridiculed way of killing is a funny sight to bear for two full hours. No boldness, no nudity and no sensuality at all.

Director Vishal Pandya has cordon the glamour of sexy siren Surveen Chawla and wasted her for irrelevant act of romantic predicament.

Two aspiring photography student Surveen and Bhanushali meet and out of the blue get into a romantic isle to live with each other till eternity. But the sexy dame is a bed slave to Sushant Singh a notorious politician [how and when not known?].

The baddy discovers both humming into "Aaj Phir Tumpe Pyaar Aaya Hai” with a sight of a passion in them all the hell brake loses. Next the boy is dumped into a river and the girl buried live into a coffin.

Well the girl is saved miraculously by a drunken and the boy follows her in ghostly avatar infusing her to live and avenge the tribulation given by the baddy.

Sushant Singh is only the saving grace as he has delivered a performance which outshines the entire film and other characters.

Surveen Chawla rates well in a bikini clad [blink and miss portion] rather than on the kill bill regime, use your body babe then the skills.

No Hate Story 3 please.

CAST
Jay Bhanushali as Akshay
Surveen Chawla as Sonika
Sushant Singh as Mandar Mhatre

Swati Pasari brings 'The Many Colours of Life' to Mumbai

Swati Pasari brings 'The Many Colours of Life' to Mumbai

18th July 2014, MUMBAI: Renowned artist from Kolkata, Swati Pasari kick started an art exhibition of her paintings, “The Many Colours of Life” at The Point Of View Gallery, Colaba for ten days starting Friday, 18th July 2014. The exhibition was inaugurated by industry giant Dilip Piramal, Chairman VIP Industries encouraging Swati Pasari for her work in the field of art.

Through her paintings Swati has been exploring the world of spirituality and self-cognition for a number of years now. Her work has earned her accolades all over the globe and this time, she is back with a collection of paintings expressing the sheer joy of existence. Her attempt is to understand life and herself through the world of her paintings and hence this collection is aptly called “The many colours of life”.

Swati Pasari, talking about her inspiration added “I enter a different dimension altogether when I paint and I do not know what the painting will become till it’s done. When I look at the painting and see a complete form of the thought, I get an inner feeling of completeness. That's how I realize that my painting is complete. This collection’s theme is to express sheer joy of existence and the paintings project the same along with spirituality and self-cognition."

Encouraging the young artist, Mr Dilip Piramal said, “It is overwhelming to see how talented today’s young generation is. I really appreciate Swati’s efforts to have achieved so such in such a young age. I wish more and more talent should be recognised and supported in the country to help boost their confidence.”

An eclectic mix of Socialites and artists like Vishwas Nangre Patil, Raju Daswani, Jayant Patil, Mr & Mrs Ashok Narayan, Gurcharan Singh were present to cheer Swati.

About Swati Pasari

They say that you have to be lost in order to be found. Every artist strives for inner peace, and art is only a method of finding inner wholesomeness. No two stories are ever the same. Hence, it would be improper to categorize Swati as a painter or an artist into a group that is shared by many. In fact she cannot be categorized at all because her paintings are an extension of herself.

Swati Pasari’s paintings talk about immortality, timelessness, some others talk about finding inner stillness and peace. These are the life goals of this young lady who has discovered painting as one of the ways to attain her inner peace.

While her art has immense artistic maturity, she has been painting since years. And in those few years, she has already exhibited her paintings in several parts of the world with many upcoming exhibitions scheduled.
She looks at each painting as a mirror that portrays herself and all that she stands for. Being a Pranic Healer, she has a strong spiritual side to herself and most of her paintings are made with the intention of spreading positivity.

They say that you have to be lost in order to be found. Not always...is what her paintings say.

Deepika Padukone

If we thought that Deepika Padukone’s versatility was limited to the varied roles that we saw her playing in her back to back hits last year in Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani, Ram Leela & Chennai Express, there is a lot more to come from the actress which will surprise the audiences.

The actress will be seen in completely diverse looks in her releases to come. Knowing Deepika, we have seen her choose roles that are very different from her previous roles.

Starting from her look in Finding Fanny which shows her as a Goan for the first time to a Maharashtrian look  in Happy New Year it is a wide range that Deepika will be seen covering in terms of her characters and looks.

Post Finding Fanny and Happy New Year, we will also see Deepika in different looks and characters in Tamasha, Piku and Bajirao Mastani.

Imtiaz who usually does not prefer to repeat his female cast has however made an exception with Deepika.

Infact, Deepika has been repeated by most of her directors. She made a roaring debut with Om Shanti Om, 6 years ago. After all this while when Farah was making her next romantic film she could not think of anyone else to cast but Deepika Padukone.

Even Homi Adajania who had his first outing with Cocktail signed Deepika for his next. Even though Finding Fanny is a very different film from Cocktail, he was sure Deepika would convincingly deliver this side of the spectrum as well.

Deepika will also be seen working with Sanjay Leela Bansali after Ram Leela. Sanjay Leela Bansali, who has a gracious way of making his heroines look has casted her for the role of Mastani in Bajirao Mastani.

Evelyn Sharma Makes Her International Singing Debut

Evelyn Sharma makes her
 International
singing debut!

Evelyn Sharma is no stranger to the international entertainment scenario. After having started off as a model
across the world
, Evelyn made her debut in
an American
film before making her way into Bollywood
.
Seems like this pretty lass is now all set again to makes waves internationally as she gears up for her debut as a singer!

Unlike other
Indian
actors, Evelyn's song is not a Indi-Pop number; but a part of the alternative genre that is less commercial and more music
.
Always having been a shy singer, Evelyn was encouraged by her friends to consider singing commercially
 and
It all came to place when she was approached by a renowned Indo-American rapper, Brooklyn Shanti
for his album
.
Interestingly Brooklyn
 Shanti
met Evelyn on the sets of 'From Sydney With Love' a movie for which Brooklyn
Shanti
composed music for. That's where
he
discovered Evelyn's singing prowess
.

Not only did Evelyn give the song her voice, she also turned writer and wrote the entire piece
 which
Brooklyn
Shanti produced
.
The song called Something Beautiful
; is a song very close to Evelyn and it speaks about herself and her journey. It's about how at a point in time, she didn't feel beautiful or talented but then someone else ends up seeing what you can't in yourself.

The song is meant to be a motivation for others to believe in themselves
.

The album is slated for an August release and has been shot completely in New York. Evelyn will be seen sporting exquisite gowns
 in the music video

by her designer friend
s
 Rocky S
, Sonaakshi Raaj & Wendell
Rodrick
s.
Evelyn in her teens sang for her Church Choir, and that's what nurtured her singing while today she is set to debut at an International Platform
.
What's exciting is, post this single she's also gearing up to release her first solo album
.
