Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a superhero film on a character based on Marvel Comics ‘Captain America’. Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo here comes a smart movie to delight you and keep you engaged for two plus hours with nonstop loads of action and thrills. Where’ The Avengers’ left you longing for more the story moves ahead with Chris Evans as Steve Rogers [Captain America] a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. who is back on a mission with his friend Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson to save a ship from Algerian pirates, while on the rescue operation Roger encounters Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff stealing data from the ship's computers leaving him baffled about the security of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Meanwhile Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury adhere his attention towards three Helicarriers which have been designed to eliminate anticipatory fear. As Fury is on his way to meeting Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill he has a surprise attack by goons camouflaged as police officers [this can be one of the highlights of the movie as the chase is meticulously choreographed with excellent camerawork] as the chase draws him towards a strange assassin Sebastian Stan as James "Bucky" Barnes / Winter Soldier he blows his SUV leaving him crushed but he escapes and meets Rogers to hand over the USB flash drive which has a secret access data code.

Rogers gets a call by senior S.H.I.E.L.D. official Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce to extract the information about the USB but he denies of such secret information and Pierce implicates him a fugitive. Rogers and Romanoff decode the data in the flash and they activate a 1970s computer containing the sealed awareness of HYDRA which was secretly operated across the world for the hope that humanity would freely surrender its freedom in exchange for safety. HYDRA agent Jasper Sitwell reveals that Zola developed a data-mining algorithm that can recognize individuals who might become future opponents to HYDRA. Henceforth the helicarriers will brush off and kill these individuals with their satellite-guided guns.

Ultimately they lead a mission to prevent Pierce from launching Operation to eliminate millions by replacing a chip within each Helicarrier .

The Winter Soldier is a bizarrely multifaceted division to embark into a movie from comic book tale is far from the ideology of superhero flick. Although it may have a mix reaction from its fans who follow the comic caper, nonetheless there are some moments of a mighty canvas production designs to give you a full on delight of amazing visuals.

The second season of Satyamev Jayate has got tremendous response. The show has not only touched some sensitive issues but also has found possible amends to the problems.

Aamir Khan has this time decided to bring SMJ in 3 parts. 1st part had 5 episodes and the show received a lot of admiration from people all over.

The actor who just completed the 1st part of Satyamev Jayate’s 2nd season is already engrossed in the 2nd part of this season.

The actor will not be taking any break between two tranches of SMJ.

2nd part of this season will be aired in the month of July. The actor and his SMJ team have already started working on the research part of the show.

A source close from the production teams say,” Yes, it was Rohit’s idea to title the movie Main Tera Hero. And when all of us heard it, we were very happy and impressed by the title. So we went ahead and titled the movie Main Tera Hero!”

Well, with such a suggestion from Rohit Dhawan, we are sure that Varun Dhawan will be proved as the nation’s Hero yet again!

The team of Humshakals which was in Mauritius shooting the final leg of the film recently concluded the shoot and called it a wrap. 

But what we hear is that on the last day of the shoot, director Sajid Khan and the Humshakals team was in for a surprise as the Vice Prime Minister of Mauritius Mr.Xavier Luc Duval and Minister of Arts and Culture Mr. Mookhesswur Choonee came to visit the team on the sets.

In fact, on Sajid Khan’s insistence, Mr Xavier Luc Duval even clapped for the last shot of Humshakals for which they were shooting at that time.

A source close to the team confirmed that, ‘It was the last day of the shoot and Mr. Xavier Luc Duval and Mr. Mookhesswur Choonee came to meet the entire crew. Being such a sport, they also clapped for the last sequence which we were shooting for. Later after wrapping up the shoot they all spent some time together.

Well, having such dignitaries on the sets would definitely have been a good experience!!

Also, Varun was stopped by a lady cop who made him dance on the song ‘Palat’ to woo her. After that, he picked up Ekta Kapoor from the nearest CCD Outlet and both of them rode to Kaliya Maidan in Filmcity.

The girls went gaga over watching their favorite actor ride the bike and followed him throughout the ride trail!

When Boman Irani turned scriptwriter AND slapped himself for Bhoothnath Returns!!

Acting maestro Boman Irani who will be seen essaying a role of a politician in the upcoming hugely anticipated ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan recently turned scriptwriter for a scene in the movie we hear!

The duo will be sharing screen space after 8 years in the entertaining tale, and there is one riveting scene where Boman Irani aka Bhau is seemingly attacked by Bhoothnath (who of course is invisible and can’t be seen) during a press conference!

Director Nitesh Tiwari didn’t have a script for this particular scene and he conveyed the same to Boman, describing the scene and the situation. He gave Boman the freehand to enact the scene and render dialogues as per his wish!

Boman then reportedly the director to give him half an hour, post which he came on the set and gave such a physically phenomenal performance, that the entire team was speechless!!

He slapped himself, kicked, shouted, yelled and created such an act that it actually felt to the crew like an invisible personality was torturing the actor!

Says a source from the set, “It is very difficult to convincingly slap oneself and be physically violent to one own self and also maintain dialogues with stable tenor and strong voice delivery. Boman not only gathered the physical energy to hit himself but also gave the dialogues perfectly!”

Well all we can say is that we always Boman Irani was a class act!

Produced by T-Series and BR Films and releasing on 11^th April, Bhoothnath Returns is an entertaining tale of good against evil, weak against powerful, past against future directed by Nitesh Tiwari and it sees the return of Big B aka Bhoothnath who with the powerfully talented child actor Parth aka Akhrot strive to see a change in the country!

The best films and filmmakers of the past year, as voted for by the cinema-going public, were honoured this evening at the 19th Jameson Empire Awards. Film fans from the UK and around the world selected their cinema highlights for the awards, which honour blockbusters, independent filmmaking and home-grown British films.

To celebrate 25 years of the magazine, Empire bestowed two special Lifetime awards on star guests Tom Cruise and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Current Empire cover-star Cruise was presented with Empire’s Legend of Our Lifetime award by Rosamund Pike. Acknowledging his stellar career to date, the magazine highlighted his outstanding work on Top Gun, Mission Impossible, Jerry Maguire and Interview with the Vampire. The Action Hero of Our Lifetime award was bestowed to action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger who was honoured for his performances in a host of well-loved action movies including True Lies, The Terminator series and Total Recall.

Two further special awards were presented by Empire to Hugh Jackman and Simon Pegg. Jackman attended the ceremony to receive the Empire Icon award presented by Jameson Irish Whiskey while Simon Pegg collected the Empire Hero award. Pegg joins an illustrious list of previous winners that includes Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley and Jude Law.

Pegg’s recent film The World’s End scooped Best British Film in what was to be an outstanding evening for British filmmaking talent. James McAvoy and Emma Thompson took the Jameson Best Actor and Best Actress presented by Max Factor awards and Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa was awarded Best Comedy presented by Magic 105.4. In addition, Oscar® and BAFTA-nominee Sally Hawkins received the award for Best Supporting Actress for Blue Jasmine. Joining Hawkins in the new supporting actor categories – introduced this year to acknowledge the extensive breadth actors shortlisted by readers – was Michael Fassbender who won the Best Supporting Actor presented by The National Lottery award for his role in 12 Years a Slave.

Actors new to our screens were honoured in the Newcomer categories with Margot Robbie collecting the award for Best Female Newcomer presented by Max Factor for her exceptional performance in The Wolf of Wall Street while Aidan Turner collected Best Male Newcomer presented by Tresor Paris for his role in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Peter Jackson’s epic sequel also took a second award for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film presented by MediCinema.

Another film scooping multiple awards was Gravity for which helmer Alfonso Cuarón triumphed in the Best Director category and which received the prestigious Best Film accolade, presented by Sky Movies.

As previously announced, British director Paul Greengrass also received the Empire Inspiration Award, presented by Mazda Motors UK, for his work on the Bourne trilogy and recent commercial and critical success Captain Phillips.

The Jameson Empire Awards continue to recognise the diverse tastes of cinema-goers, with awards dedicated to popular genres including Best Horror which went to The Conjuring, and Best Thriller presented by Quaglino’s awarded to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The Jameson Empire Done in 60 Seconds short film award-winner was David Smith from the UK for his remake of There Will Be Blood. Smith was on a shortlist of 24 contestants from 16 countries , nominated by Empire readers, which was then whittled down to the Top 5 by the judging panel which included: Ben Wheatley, Jon S. Baird, Edith Bowman, Alex Zane and Editor-In-Chief of Empire Mark Dinning, who finally picked their winner.

This time Ali Asgar who essays the role of Vicky in the series has penned his thoughts for the upcoming track. Ali who is a believer in luck had some thoughts about how ‘luck’ could be shown as a game changer in the series in a playful way.

Ali said. “I have deep faith in luck and its repercussions on our lives. Personally, I have faced some good & bad experiences that I would credit to the luck factor. This was a wonderful opportunity wherein it allowed me to set my ideology as a part of this show. The ongoing track will see a lot of funny incidents wherein even Jeannie’s magic will not be of any help. It’s going to be a hilarious take on how luck can change things instantly and am sure the viewers will definitely like this new twist in the tale.”

The signature tune of the Jackie Shroff starrer, Hero, has been contemporised for his son, Tiger Shroff's debut film, Heropanti.  The very famous tune, a melody played on the flute in hero has been taken from Hero and since Heropanti is set in the modern time, the tune has been modernized.

The cult tune which is also known as Whistle, has been incorporated in a song from Heropanti titled, “Mere Naal Whistle Bajao”

"We wanted to use the melody played on the flute in Hero and had acquired the rights from Sa Re Ga Ma. But since Heropanti revolves around a new pair (Tiger and Kriti Sanon), it had to be modern while resonating with the Hero generation," says director Sabbir Khan.

When the idea propped up with Sajid Nadiadwala who is producing the film he was very upbeat about the collaboration of the tune. It being Jackie Shroff’s music from his debut film and Tiger will be debuting with Heropanti, becomes of higher significance.

The entire team is very elated by the way this has worked out and they are keen to know how Jackie Shroff will be reacting to the song.

"The original Hero tune is all melody, this one is peppier. Even Tiger, who was overwhelmed at the thought of using his father's cult song, is happy with Manj's spin and the way the song has been shot," says Sabbir. "I'm now waiting to see Jackie's reaction.”

‘Chidiya Ghar’ is the story of a fun-loving family comprising of different members with their own uncanny & funny mannerisms.

Mayuri played by Debina Bonnerjee thought of including a trendy look of her in ‘Chidiyaghar’ series. She suggested to the creative team to change her avatar in the series to add an element of fun. After mutual discussions it was decided to westernize Debina’s look in the series which would make it different and offer a fresh appeal to her character.

Debina said, “Mayuri is one of my favourite on-screen personas that I connect with. I am really excited to play a western avatar of her as it connects with the real me. Incidentally, this idea of westernizing Mayuri came from me during a candid discussion with the creative team. I will be shown as a dance teacher and having learnt dance professionally, it also worked in my favour.  I also will be doing a dance performance on a popular Bollywood track. I hope I get to play such fun parts more often on the show.”
