Liven up your conversations with Bollywood Themed Mojis on Skype


‘Words’ and ‘plain text’ simply aren’t enough in today’s day and age. Even the best memes wouldn’t go viral if it wasn’t for the sarcasm, humour, or cuteness dripping from the face of the characters in them. Expressions matter! And a testimony to this is the fact that for the first time, the Oxford Dictionary has chosen a pictograph, an Emoji, as the word of the year as it best reflected the ethos, mood, and preoccupations of 2015.

We all feel the need for various media to clearly express our various moods and feelings whether in person, or over the phone. There are times when even pictographs and Emojis aren’t enough. These occasions merit something richer, more dynamic and more engaging. Something like Skype Mojis.

Skype has partnered with Indian studios Yash Raj Films and ErosNow, to develop custom Mojis for Skype users with some Bollywood-centered emoticons dedicated to various gestures and expressions. Both Bollywood Mojis and emoticons are available worldwide in the features tab of the emoticon picker on Skype for Windows desktop, Mac, iOS, Android and Skype for Web. Irrespective of the platform or the device, people across the world can now have more memorable and personal conversations over an instant messaging platform.

In addition to the existing worldwide Mojis content, Skype will allow users to reply with Mojis fromtheir favorite movies such as the 20-years-and-still-running cult movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Dhoom 2 & 3, Devdas and many more. This association will offer Skype users a never before assembled collection of the funniest, craziest and most iconic moments from some of the best movies, all through Skype Mojis.

How It Works
To send a Moji, users simply have to press on the emoticon button and can then browse by movie or expression. Users can preview the Moji, and then simply drag it into the chat window. The best part? Both Bollywood Mojis and emoticons are available worldwide, in the featured tab of the emoticon picker.

Jennifer Lawrence opens up about wrapping on "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2"



Jennifer Lawrence is all set to mesmerize her Indian audiences with her upcoming film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2"

The Oscar winning actor has been a pivotal part of all the previous installments. However the upcoming film will draw the curtains for the Hunger games series. In the due course of time the series has become and integral part of her life too. 

While in an interview with Diane Sawyer, Jennifer shares her thoughts on wrapping up the series, during which she had broken up with her boyfriend of five years, her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.

Jennifer said, “These movies had been my life for so long, and they had to come first in everything,”  “I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies. Being 24 was this whole year of ‘who am I without these movies?’ and ‘who am I without this man?’”

The film has opened to rave reviews in the west and the Indian Audiences are really looking forward for its release.

Along with Jennifer Lawrence, the star cast boasts of impressive names like Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Jeffrey Wright and Evan Ross. 

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence, produced by Nina Jackobson and Jon Kilik and distributed by Lionsgate.

The film is Scheduled to release on 27th November 2015 in India.

James Bond, "007" the most magnificent spy of all the lot is here this time with a Dynamic visuals and chutzpah to dwarf the previous predecessor. Director Sam Mendes and his entire team have created a magnanimous installment of the series so far. Daniel Craig as "007” is unparalleled he has redefined the face and energy of the Bond aura, this bond is nearer to the reality and not fictionalized bullet proof object.

Mendes gives us all the elements of a bond movie, mind boggling opening is outstanding the subtle portions of drama is also engaging the action are well crafted including a mammoth blast is also spared out of the CGI. Cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema [last movie Interstellar] is an incredible creation of visual never before seen [especially the opening physical chase between bond and Marco Sciarra the camera follows them on an invincibly pace], also the main signature theme of the James Bond films is intact.

Our Indian censors have gone ruthless on killing the most important perspective of a Bond film ‘The intimacy’ this moments of Bond film are the most desired by all the fans and have gone down the drain in this latest offering ‘Spectre’.

Bhushan Kumar discovers Sonakshi Sinha’s hidden talent



 Everyone has seen Sonakshi Sinha give a tough competition with her dancing skills and she has reached the A – list actors group with her power packed performances in every film she has chosen. But like every girl she had a talent which maybe no one ever came across. It was T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar who once heard her discovered her hidden talent of singing.

 Bhushan Kumar who has gotten back the era of music videos (singles) was liked Sonakshi’s command on tunes and decided that they had to work together. This was a seed that reaped to their single ‘Ishqoholic’ which Sonakshi has already recorded. The song that is more hip hop and very youth friendly is composed by Meet Bros. while Kumaar has written the lyrics.

 Bhushan Kumar who is glad to be the one to making Sonakshi’s debut in singing industry says, “Sonakshi has a beautiful voice and the song has turned out to be very likeable and easy to hum. I am so glad we got a chance to work on something which binds the world together – music. ‘Ishqoholic will make her fans see the unseen unheard side of her and cherry on the top is they will hear her rap too. The song will welcome Sonakshi to the music world easily.”

An excited Sonakshi says, “The video for the song will be shot later this month, by Gifty whom I have worked with on the Desi Kalakaar number along with Yo Yo Honey Singh.”

Ranbir - Deepika, the Golden Pair of their time!



As Tamasha inches closer to release, the chemistry between Ranbir and Deepika has become one of the major talking point.

This particular pair has taken the audiences expectations much high for their known chemistry both onscreen and off screen! 

From the trailer launch to each song that was out, the want of seeing this pair more has constantly been expressed by fans.

Varun Dhawan hung upside down for Dishoom.

Varun Dhawan had a tough time while filming for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Dishoom over the weekend, in a suburban studio. 

The actor, who was shooting for his brother, Rohit Dhawan’s directorial had to do a challenging scene in which he was hung upside down for several hours.

Dishoom has a lot of action sequences, including many unique stunts. 

In one of the scenes, Varun had to be hung upside down for about seven hours. 

"It was an extremely difficult stunt. It affected his (Varun's) blood circulation, causing dizziness. To ensure that his health was not affected, the makers had a doctor present on the film’s sets,” says a source close to Varun.

While the makers were worried about the actor’s health, everything went smoothly. 


“Varun pulled off the scene really well. The makers and the unit members were happy with how it turned out,” says the source.

Sajid confirmed the news.

The film marks to be the first venture whereby Varun and his brother Rohit are working together.

Dishoom is an upcoming Indian action adventure film Directed by Rohit Dhawan and Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Looking enviable in green, Divya Khosla Kumar attends the Mithabai College fest, Paparazzi!



Divya Khosla Kumar certainly has her hands full. She is busy wrapping up the shoot for her upcoming directorial venture, Sanam Re, attending B-town Diwali parties and lending her support for various social causes. Another such event added to this long list is visiting the Mithibai College BMM fest, Paparazzi.
Being a director, Divya visited this event organised by the BMM students of the college and indulged in conversations galore and a Q & A session with these young aspiring students. 
She was looking casual yet chic in an emerald green dress with her hair falling in loose curls, teaming it up with jewellery from Amrapali.

Being the talented director that she is, Divya wowed the students with her expertise and knowledge in the field and helped them with several of their queries and the right path to achieve their goals in the world of cinematography and films.

Mrs . Earth Priyanka Khurana Goyal's winning attire

Priyanka Khurana Goyal Mrs. Earth 2015  along with the contestants from 20 countries across the world participated in number of vigorous rounds at the Mrs. Earth pageant. The contestants were evaluated in the rounds like Personal Interview, Fitness Wear Presentation, Evening Gown and High Fashion Modeling.
At a beauty pageant like Mrs. Earth its not just about looking good at the finale but starting from the moment you enter the pageant and doing your best in all the days. Keeping all this in mind Priyanka Khurana selected  a combination of outfits ranging from jeans, hot pants /daisy dukes, knee length dresses to full length gowns. Since Jamaica has a tropical weather and beach location she used a lots of floral prints with vibrant colors that looked very lively.

Sharing her experience at the Pageant Priyanka says, “Pageant aspirants should put equal focus on make up and hair along with the dresses. One should do  makeup and hair course or have a good makeup and hair artist to travel with you to take care of it for you as it makes a big impact to have different looks as per the occsasions like beach party, yatch party, presentation etc. One should take extra care while choosing the dress for interview round as that is the first time when judges see you in the  various rounds. Its should be a combination of a stylish yet formal a dressing .Also keep in mind the accessories are very important. Ensure you carry right accessories with multiple color choices including Indian and western wear. ”

While in pageant one should carry more than one gown as making a statement in every party is very important.  Even though the parties are not marked, judges are still watching the contestants. Colors for the  evening gown should be dark and the designs should make one look elegant. The judges wont look at the price of the evening gown but how you look. Priyanka continued to make style statement with her maroon gown

High fashion round needs a huge effort and understanding of self before choosing the right outfit as you cannot buy high fashion that will suit you just out of the rack. Priyanka chose a dress with fur top and frill bottom (photo attached below) which suited her the best and made the right winning impact on the ramp and  the judges.

At Mrs. Earth pageant for the national costume round expected Priyanka to represent and showcase the culture and art of India. Priyanka chose a lehnga choli and dupatta which had a theme of Radha Krishna and their eternal love as they are the epitome of pure eternal unconditional love. The uniqueness of this dress was the dupatta that had a hand painted depiction of eternal love by caligraphy artist Ram Kasture (photo attached below). This was very well appreciated by the judges

Hate Story 3 and Angry Indian Goddesses to clash at the box office



Both the films are absolutely different in content with only one similarity - which is the release date.

While Hate Story has the oomph factor and a lot of skin show the latter is quite the contrary. Angry Indian Goddesses is about women standing up for themselves and having fun without inhibitions.

It is a fun film about 7 girls coming together for a bachelorette party in Goa

The film (AIG) was earlier schedule to release alongside Tamasha on 27th November however has now moved to 4th December.

The film has visited several film festivals and has been loved across. It was infact the first runner up for the Grolsch People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival and also earned the BNL Peoples Choice Award at the Rome Film festival as well.

Says director  Pan Nalin “We will be releasing AIG on 4th December 2015. We have received fantastic reactions at international film festivals and also at MAMI. The film will release internationally in early 2016. But it was always our wish that Indian audience should discover AIG first."

Point Break gets the biggest trailer launch for a Hollywood film in India Trailer in theaters on 20th November!




Action-adventure junkies and extreme sports fans have a treat in store for them, as PVR Pictures is launching the trailer of Point Break on 20th November. Hitting more than 500 theatres, this is the biggest trailer launch for a Hollywood film in India. The film’s trailer will be showcased with the James Bond thriller Spectre across cinemas.

Billed as the biggest action-adventure film till date, Point Break has been directed by Ericson Core, who was also the DOP on films including Fast and Furious among others. Ericson is also the DOP on this film that revolves around a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) who infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes – led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways.

Replete with the most daring high-octane stunts ever seen in a motion picture, the film stars Édgar Ramírez (Zero Dark Thirty, The Bourne Ultimatum, Carlos the Jackal), Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, November Man), along with Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Delroy Lindo (Sahara, Gone in Sixty Seconds), and Ray Winstone (Noah, The Departed). What’s more, the action-adventure feats are performed by elite athletes representing the world’s best in class in big-wave surfing, wingsuit-flying, sheer-face snowboarding, free rock climbing, and high-speed motorcycling.

Alcon Entertainment’s fast-paced, high-adrenaline action thriller Point Break is scheduled to be released by PVR Pictures on January 1, 2016.
