Why did Kangana observe a maun vrat on the sets of Katti Batti?



No, the actress wasn't having a Katti Batti moment with anyone!
Infact, it was for a scene that Kangana went an extra edge to nail.
As is know, the Imran Khan - Kangana Ranaut starrer, Katti Batti is an emotional roller coaster of sorts.
Towards the second half of the film, this journey evolves further emotional.
In order to get into the intense state and to be able to deliver a perfect shot, Kangana observed a maun vrat.
The actress wouldn't speak to anyone but the films director Nikhil Advani to gain insights of the scene.
This went on for days as the emotional portion of the film was shot over a period of days.
Everyday Kangana would appear on the sets and go into isolation to prepare for her role.
It was this portion of the film which was emotionally taxing for the actress as she chose to deliver each and every scene naturally.
Kudos to Kangana for going the lengths to prepare to play Payal's character.

Who says you have to lace up your shoes and head to the gym for a good workout? When you have little ones at home and a packed working schedule, it is essential to turn even a daily chore into an intense workout session. Bollywood’s yummy mummy, Divya Khosla Kumar does just that.  

Divya and the cast and crew of her upcoming film, Sanam Re are currently on the last leg of their shooting schedule in Canada. With a to-die-for figure in spite of her packed schedules and being the mother of a 4 year old, she does not forego staying fit and manages to squeeze in her workout everyday. Accompanying her on her workout sessions, is the Bollywood's super hot newly married actor, Pulkit Samrat. A source from the sets tells us that Divya and Pulkit have bonded over their love for fitness and working out during the shooting of their film.They always make it a point to cycle back to their respective hotels after packing up their day’s shoot. 
Now that's certainly an innovative, fun and time-saving way of staying fit while juggling work, isn't it?

प्राइवेट चार्टर से रणवीर और दीपिका पहुंचे बाजीराव मस्तानी के गजानन सॉन्ग लॉन्च पर






रणवीर सिंह और दीपिका पादुकोण जो  आज सुबह ही   हेलीकाप्टर  से  पुणे   रवाना   हुए थे  अपनी  आगामी  फिल्म  बाजीराव   मस्तानी  के  गजानना   सॉन्ग  लांच  पर , लेकिन  ख़राब  मौसम  की  वजह  से  उन्हें मुंबई वापस आना पड़ा.

हलाकि फिल्म के स्टारकास्ट इस  गाना को  राष्ट्रीय  स्तर पर लांच करना चाहते थे इसलिए उन्होंने प्राइवेट जेट से पुणे के 'श्री छत्रपति शिवजी स्पोर्ट्स काम्प्लेक्स, बाले वाडी  स्टेडियम   जाने का फैसला लिया, जहाँ पर कामनवेल्थ गेम का आयोजन किया गया था 

सूत्रों का कहना है की " इस फिल्म के निर्माताओ ने गजानना इस गाने को बहुत ही  बड़े स्तर पर और शानदार तरीके से  लांच किया गया इतना ही नहीं इस सॉन्ग लांच में देशभर से लगभग ५२०० विद्यार्थियों ने हिस्स लिया , फिल्म की स्टारकास्ट दीपिका और रणवीर जो हेलीकाप्टर से पुणे जाने वाले थे ख़राब मौसम की वजह से उन्हें वापस मुंबई आना पड़ा.  पर दीपिका और रणवीर उन सारे विद्यार्थियों से मिलना चाहते थे जिन्होंने इस समारोह  के लिए  जी जान  लगाकर तैयारिया कर रहे थे  इसीलिए इन सितारों ने निश्चित किया की वे प्राइवेट जेट से पुणे के लिए रवाना होंगे।   

रणवीर सिंह उर्फ़ बाजीराव एक मिक्रोब्लॉगिंग साइट का सहारा ले कर अपने फंसको अपडेट दे रहे थे , उन्होंने ट्वीट किया की ख़राब मौसम की वजह से उनका हेलीकाप्टर पुणे में लैंड नहीं कर पाया जिसकी वजह से उन्हें वापस आना पड़ा, और उन्होंने फिर ये भी बताया वे गाड़ी के द्वारा हेलीकाप्टर तक पहुंचाएगी और फिर वे दूसरी गाडी द्वारा वे दूसरे जेट तक जायेंगे ,हम  बाले वाडी स्टेडियम पे उपस्थित अपने दोस्तों से मिलने के लिए हर कोशिश कर  रहे हैं. 

दीपिका पादुकोण का कहना है की "   मैं और रणवीर और  हमारी पूरी टीम इस इवेंट को सफल और यादगार  बनाने के लिए कोई कसार नहीं छोड़ना चाहते हैं ,पर दुर्भाग्य से ख़राब मौसम की वजह से हमें   वापस मुंबई आना पड़ा, और फिर हमने मुंबई से प्राइवेट जेट ली और पुणे के लिए उड़न भरी ,और हम उन सभी के शुक्रगुज़ार हैं जिन्होंने इस इवेंट को सफल बनाने के लिए अपना पुरजोर समर्थन दिया

Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone fly to Pune in a private charter for the launch of the Gajanana song from Bajirao Mastani !

Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone who were scheduled to fly to Pune today by a helicopter for the launch of The Gajanana song from Eros International & Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani , were derailed due to bad weather conditions and were forced to fly back to Mumbai. 

The cast, however,was so determined in making the launch the biggest the nation has ever seen, that they decided to catch a private charter from Mumbai and fly to the venue in Pune, the Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Balewadi Stadium, where the Commonwealth Games were held.

Says a source, " Keeping in line with the larger-than-life,massive scale of the film , the makers launched the song with complete fanfare and had over 5200 students from across the country attend this.  The two actors who had taken a helicopter to fly to the venue in Pune, had to turn back and land in Mumbai due to unforeseen weather conditions .They were however so determined to have the event go smoothly and meet with the students who have been preparing for the occasion ,that they decided to catch a private charter and fly to Pune."

Ranveer Singh aka Bajirao took to a popular microblogging site to update his fans on the status of their arrival. He tweeted, "Our chopper couldn't land in Pune and we had to turn back.We next catch a car, that takes us to a charter and then another car to another chopper. Our good folks at Bhalewadi stadium hung in there.Doing everything to make this happen".

Said Deepika Padukone, "The Ganjanana song launch is something we both have looked forward to and the entire team has spared no effort, in making this launch, one to remember.Unfortunately due to bad weather conditions,our helicopter was forced to land in Mumbai and we caught a charter from Mumbai airport and flew to Pune to be part of this extravaganza.We'd like to thank everyone involved in making today a success".

Mumbai, Sept 2015: Thespo, India’s Largest youth theatre festival announces registrations for the Live Musical Performance event. Thespo is inviting music performers to showcase their talent during the festival this year. It's that time of the year again when young music artists can register for the hottest melody nights happening from 7th to 13th December 2015.

Thespo is inviting entries for Live musical Performances at the Festival which are purely acoustic performances without use of distortion and needs to be minimum 40 minutes long. The last date of registration for Live Musical performances is 1st October, 2015. The participant can be a solo performer as well a band.

In the previous editions of Thespo, bands and singers like Meera Shenoy, Indo Gypsies, Wajood, Tejas Menon, Spud In The Box, Nigel Rajaratnam/Skydrops, Vernon Norohna and many more have performed at the festival.

Black Mass - Johnny Depp Transformation

In Black Mass, Johnny Depp takes on real life gangster James Bulger.Finely sculpted facial prosthetics were used to give Johnny Depp the visage of Whitey Bulger.  Makeup department head Joel Harlow offers, “From the beginning, it was important to Johnny to look as much like Whitey Bulger as possible.  We started with a cyber scan of his head and then, using reference materials from the Internet, I shaped silicone prosthetics.  We went through a number of tests before finding what worked: focusing on the forehead and the nose to create an amalgam of Whitey and Johnny.  We went to enormous lengths to get the density of the silicone correct, especially on the forehead, so Johnny’s expressions would come through organically.”
For Whitey’s distinctive hairline, the hair department, headed by Gloria Casny, began with Harlow’s silicone pieces that had been shaped precisely to Depp’s own head and extended over the forehead down to the eyebrows.  Then special effects hair/wigmaker Khanh Trance spent dozens of hours punching thousands of individual strands of hair into the silicone to create the hairline as well as the brows.  Casny explains, “She had to do one hair at a time to make it look the most natural.  I then added a salt-and-pepper back wig to blend into the hairline and cover Johnny’s naturally dark hair.”
The job was made all the more daunting because each silicone piece could only be used once, “so we had to do new ones every single day,” Casny says.  “At one point, we had two people helping Khanh in 12 hour shifts, 24 hours a day.  We also had to show stages of aging, which we did by increasing the grey and thinning the hair.  Different sideburns also reflected the changing times.”
“All in all, it’s a stunning transformation,” Director Scott Cooper sums up simply.
