Goodyear Ranks highest in Customer Satisfaction by J.D. Power in the Small Car Segment

June 13th, New Delhi : Goodyear is ranked highest in Customer Satisfaction in the Small Car segment in the J.D Power 2019 India Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Index (TCSI) StudySM. As per the study, Goodyear Tyres have a score of 856 points in the category based on a 1,000-point scale. In the Midsize Car segment and Utility Vehicle segment, Goodyear ranked second with 831 and 824 points respectively.

Commenting on this, Mr. Rajeev Anand, Chairman & Managing Director, Goodyear India said, “It is a proud moment for Goodyear to receive such high levels of recognition from the premier benchmarking company in the automotive industry.”

The J.D Power TCSI measures satisfaction among original equipment tyre owners during the first 12 to 36 months of ownership across four key factors (listed in order of priority): wear, ride, traction/handling, and appearance.

The J.D. Power 2019 India Original Equipment Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index (TCSI) StudySM is based on 3,598 responses from new-vehicle owners who purchased their vehicle between March 2015 and August 2017. The study was fielded from March through August 2018.

Enters into a new range of Light-duty trucks with Eicher Pro 2000 series

Mumbai, June 10, 2019:  Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of  VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, today revealed India’s first BS-VI compliant all-new range of Eicher Pro 2000 series of Light-Duty Trucks. The entirely new range of ultra-modern trucks will expand the light-duty portfolio of Eicher, will address a wider range of applications and help enter new segments. The Pro 2000 series has been designed with segment-specific customer needs to deliver significantly higher profitability, loaded with Industry-first features for enhanced reliability, safety, comfort and efficiency.  

This all-new range of Eicher Pro 2000 series will come with two new engine platforms, built to deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency and a range of power options, compliant with BS-VI emission standards. This new range also has two new smart cabins developed for safe and comfortable driver operation in 1.8 m and 2.0 m configurations. These are equipped with new generation industry-first features such as touch-screen infotainment, Bluetooth and telematics connectivity. The new global series sets new benchmarks for driver safety in the CV industry. The new ergonomically designed cabin offers a better turning radius, reduced NVH levels and a comfortable driving environment. The Pro 2000 series will be equipped with Eicher Live, an advanced telematics solution for the business owners to manage trips, fuel and uptime of the range of vehicles. The Pro 2000 series offers best in class payload and comfort which makes this range ideal for the logistics and intra-city applications.

The two new variants- Eicher Pro 2049 and Eicher Pro 2095XP will be powered with industry best features. The Eicher Pro 2049 has been designed to cater to the last mile distribution with a 1.8m cabin. With a high legal payload of 2.7T, Dual mode M-Booster technology and larger loading space, the mini truck offers the lowest turnaround time to ensure faster delivery. The Eicher Pro 2095XP offers the highest payload of 7.2T in the category and comes with five cargo body options across 14.1, 17.6, 19, 20 and 21.5 feet. The vehicle is a smart choice for a fleet owner, with infotainment and Bluetooth connectivity, better cabin comfort, telematics and fuel coaching – offering a car-like cabin experience.

MIAMI (June 6, 2019) – The 2019/2020 season of Norwegian Cruise Line’s popular Meet the Winemakerseries is available on the brand’s latest and most innovative ships and will feature accomplished experts including Gerard Bertrand of Languedoc Roussillon; Juan Munoz of Columbia Crest; Bob Bertheau of Chateau Ste. Michelle; and Master Sommelier and three-time James Beard Award-winner, Andrea Robinson.

The experience will be available on select cruises aboard Norwegian Joy, Norwegian’s latest ship in North America; her sister ships Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Escape and soon-to-debut Norwegian Encore; as well as on the newly renovated Norwegian Dawn.

The seasonal program provides enthusiasts with exclusive opportunities to engage with winemakers and other experts through a variety of enriching seminars and activities including open-forum discussions, meet-and-greets, intimate wine tastings and wine-paired dinners, interactive cooking demonstrations and educational sessions in The Cellars, A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar available on Norwegian Bliss, Joy, Escape and Dawn.

This year, Robinson, who in 1997 was the first female Master Sommelier to be recognized by the Sommelier Society of America, kicked off the Meet the Winemakercruises on Norwegian Escape, alongside notable winemaker Antonio Hidalgo of the globally recognized, family-owned Spanish Sherry house - Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana. Robinson, also a known chef, television personality, author and recipient of three James Beard Awards in the categories of broadcast and restaurant/chef, will host an additional two cruises in the series.

IndoSpace expands in the north; Launches parks in Punjab and Haryana with a total area of over 110 acres; Doubles the acreage in Luhari, Haryana.


IndoSpace, announced its expansion in the North with the launch of parks in Rajpura, Punjab and Luhari, Haryana. These new parks will boost IndoSpace’s move towards its goal to build a portfolio of 120 million square feet of modern logistics infrastructure across India.

IndoSpace Rajpurathe only Grade A park in the region, is spread across 47 acres and is located at the junction of NH 44 and NH 7. Rajpura has emerged as the warehousing and logistics hub of Punjab due to its proximity to the tri-city (Chandigarh-Mohali-Panchkula) area and its well-connected rail and road links to the rest of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan.

MUMBAI (May 20, 2019) –Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading luxury ocean cruise line, today announced the debut of an extensive array of innovative plant-based cuisine on menus across its fleet. Beginning July 1, 2019, more than 200 gourmet plant-based selections will be offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner to meet the evolving tastes of luxury travelers who are following vegan or vegetarian lifestyles, or hunger to enjoy more plant-based fare.

New dishes like Wild Mushroom Tart with Brittle Pie Crust, Mushroom Duxelles and Red Pepper Coulis;Falafel Fritters with Harissa Mayo, Cucumber, Mint, and CapersSpiced Potato & Green Pea Samosas with Tamarind Chutney; and Summer Berry Pudding Chantillyshowcase a range of cuisines including Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Italian, Malaysian, and more. Volvo Car organises a women-only car drive to boost awareness on gender equality







Mumbai, 19th May 2019: Volvo Car India flagged off an all women drive today under the global ‘Equal Vehicles for All’ (E.V.A.) initiave to promote gender equality. The rich data of over 4 decades and 40,000 investigations involving car crashes has now been provided to the world free. The E.V.A. initiative centres around safety for all and not just safety developed by testing the traditional ‘Male Crash Test Dummies’. Women have a different anatomy and hence different effects in crashes. Our cars are tested with Female Crash Test Dummies as well delivering safety for all. The seats are egonomically designed with WHIPS to reduce the whiplash risk for male and females by half. The Side Impact Protection System (SIPS) relies on an intelligent structure to boost overall safety. In fact, SIPS, together with the side-impact airbag, reduces severe chest injuries by more than 50% for all passengers.

The gender equality does not stop just at product development, it is an integral part of our corporate mission and culture. Volvo Cars is aiming at one-third of all leadership positions by 2025 to be females and has a healthy 23% women workforce.
