Mumbai, September 09, 2015: Friday Filmworks, Neeraj Pandey & Shital Bhatia Production house, today announced that they would be teaming up with Akshay Kumar once again for their upcoming romantic thriller ‘Rustom’. This film would mark the third such project where the ‘Hit’ trio would be coming together, the first two being the very successful ‘Special 26’ and ‘Baby’. Inspired by real life incidents, the film, which is being co-produced by Friday Filmworks, Essel Vision and Kriarj Entertainment, is written by Vipul Rawal and will be directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. 

Speaking of the association Akshay Kumar said,“Having worked with Neeraj on two fabulous projects, I am excited to start work on our new film. I am happy that Zee's Studios, is putting its might behind this film along with Kriarj Entertainment and Friday Filmworks. It gives me and the entire team confidence of this launched worldwide using the global might of Zee”.

Commenting on the announcement, Neeraj Pandey, said, “When Tinu narrated ‘Rustom’ to us we immediately got hooked to the quality of the narrative and its potential and instantly decided that it was something that we would like to produce. Rustom’s first schedule of shoot commences by mid-December this year. The film will travel to multiple locations globally in the course of its production. Apart from Akshay Kumar in the film, which is slated for an Independence Day 2016 weekend release, will also feature two gorgeous young actresses. Additionally, Neeraj Pandey will himself be penning the dialogues of the film. He will also be co-writing the screenplay along with Vipul Rawal and also contribute towards the films edit. Zee has bagged the music rights for ‘Rustom’.

Actor and former model Dino Morea has recently started an e-commerce venture, ‘iBhakti.com’, which offers remote temple services.

“In today’s day and age, when everyone is so busy with their lives, that you often hear excuses such as ‘I wish I had the time to visit this temple’, I and my partners thought, ‘Why not bring the temples to the worshipers?’ Technology has practically taken over every single function in our lives, so, we thought there wasn’t a better way to do this,” said Dino.

So, what exactly does the website and its accompanying app (of the same name) do? Dino informs, “Worshippers with a hectic schedule or NRIs who can’t frequent India often can visit our website or use the app to avail services being offered by popular Indian temples. This means that you can subscribe to a temple’s ‘aartis’, donate money for puja to be done in your name and then watch the puja being done by the Punditji. The video is sent to your mobile, which you can store for 48 hours and watch as many times as you want. You can also offer a particular ‘prasad’ to the deity, which will then be couriered to your home with a letter from the temple.”

So far, Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath and Mumbai’s Ganesh ‘mandal’ Lalbaughcha Raja are on board. “With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, worshippers of Lord Ganesh can offer prasad through our website or app. In fact, pre-orders have already started pouring in,” added Dino.

Dino’s company is also in talks with many other temples such as Ambaji and Dwarka Temple (Gujarat), Turjabhavani Temple (Maharashtra), Mahalaksmi Temple (Maharashtra), Shirdi Temple (Maharashtra), Mansa Devi Temple (Haridwar), Dagdusheth Haiwai (Pune) and Golden Temple (Punjab).

Dino is presently looking for good scripts. “No. Acting is my first passion. I haven’t given up on acting. I’ve just become very cautious about the kind of roles I want to play. In the past, I’ve made a couple of mistakes in my career, which I don’t want to repeat. So, I’m just being choosy.”

On his long-time dedication for spreading awareness about fitness and healthy living, Dino said, “I’ve been setting up small fitness facilities in Mumbai along the streets. So far, I’ve set up 15 functional training facilities at places such as Marine Drive, Shivaji Park, Bandstand, Thane and so on. I want to spread grassroots awareness about fitness and these 100-square foot facilities are a first step towards that. And, I’m very happy to say that the facilities are always packed with morning or evening walk-goers.”

The talented filmmaker who is once again set to unleash his trademark grandeur and majestic taste in his upcoming epic love story, Bajirao Mastani, is currently shooting the splendid dance number ‘Deewani Mastani’ featuring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

The creative maverick along with choreographer Remo D’Souza is leaving no stone unturned to make sure the song Deewani Mastani turns out to be one of the major highlights of the period drama and is being shot at the most extravagant and expensive set – Aaina Mahal recreated in Film city.

Remo says, “I'm really loving the way the song is shaping up. It's better than what we imagined.”

Aaina Mahal is on the lines of the mirror-covered Mughal-E-Azam set and is the most expensive set so far after the cult film.

Over 20,000 intricately designed mirrors have been used to put the set together. Special karigars from jaipur were summoned to work on the embedding of the mirrors to maintain authenticity. The massive set measures 12,500 sq feet .What's even more awe inspiring is that one angle of the frame reflects in the 20,000 mirrors.

Deepika Padukone turns photographer for Ranbir Kapoor

The golden pair, Ranbir - Deepika visited Corsica for one of the shoot schedules of their upcoming next release.

Over there, Ranbir Kapoor had climbed on a cliff in order to shoot a particular scene.

After the scene was shot, Deepika took a camera in hand and started clicking pictures of Ranbir, who also played along giving different poses including some really funny ones.

While the two were having some fun, a person on the set quickly captured the moment.

The entire unit has had a great time shooting for the film and has lots and lots of memories; some captured and some just in the mind.

Ranbir and Deepika will be seen sharing screen space once again after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in Imtiaz Ali’s next film.

SAM SMITH TO SING TITLE SONG TO “SPECTRE”

CULVER CITY, Calif., September 8, 2015 – Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment today confirmed that Sam Smith has recorded “Writing’s On The Wall,” the theme song to SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure.  SPECTRE will be released in the UK on October 26 and in the US on November 6.  The song, released by Capitol Records, will debut and be available to purchase and stream onSeptember 25.

Multi-platinum selling artist Sam Smith has co-written the title song, “Writing’s On The Wall,” with fellow GRAMMY® Award winner Jimmy Napes.  It is the first James Bond theme song recorded by a British male solo artist since 1965.  Smith’s debut album In The Lonely Hourlaunched at No. 1 in the UK and bowed in at No. 2 in the US, and has since earned five No.1 UK singles, four GRAMMY® Awards, three Brit Awards, six MOBO Awards, Q and AMA Awards.

Commenting on the announcement, Michael G. ABOUT “SPECTRE”

बाजीराव मस्तानी का आइना महल - मुगल-ए-आजम के बाद अब तक का सबसे महंगा सेट

 भव्यता भी भारतीय सिनेमा के जीवन का पर्याय बन चूका है , और अब निर्देशक संजय लीला भंसाली ने खुद अब   तक  का सबसे  महंगा  सेट  बनाया  है   

निर्देशक संजय लीला भंसाली ने एक बार फिर से आइना महल बनाया जो फिल्म 'मुगल-ए-आजम" में  नज़र  आई  थी जो उस समय का सबसे महंगा सेट थ.  

इस सेट को बनाने में लगभग ३५ दिन लगे , जिससे डिज़ाइन किया है "सुजीत श्रीराम और सलोनी ने" इस सेट पर जो आईने इस्तेमाल किये गए हैं जयपुर से मंगाया गया है और जिसे रचनात्मक पर्यटकों खुद चुना हैं 

इस सेट पर लगभग बीस हज़ार आइनों का उपयोग किया गया है और इस सेट को  बनाने के लिए खासतौर पर जयपुर से कारीगर को बुलाया गया था ताकि सेट को वास्तविक रूप दे सके. इतना ही नहीं इस विशाल सेट को बनाने के लिए लगभग १२,५०० स्क्वेर फ़ीट जगह का उपयोग किया गया है और सबसे खास बात तो यह है की फ्रेम के एक कोण 20,000 दर्पण में प्रतिबिंबित करता है।

सेट के लिए सबसे गर्व की बात तो यह है की  १३ दीपवृक्ष को बार बार मोमबत्तियों से प्रकाशित करना पड़ता है

Suresh Raina unveils the music album of Meeruthiya Gangsters

‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’ music album was unveiled today (7th september) by Indian cricketerSuresh Raina, who has also recorded a song for the film. Suresh Raina, who is a friend of producer Shoeb Ahmed, agreed to sing as a friendly gesture for Shoeb. 



Apart from the title track, ‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’, the film’s album boasts of catchy numbers like ‘Hum Toh Jeete Hain’, party tracks including the foot-tapping ‘Mastam Mastam’ and ‘Babaji Ka Ghanta’ along with the romantic song, ‘Naina Tose Lage’ sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Present at the event were Producers Shoeb Ahmed and Priyanka Bassi along with Director Zeishan Quadri, Music Directors Siddhant Madhav and Vivek Kar and Singers Divya Kumar and Pawni. In attendance among the cast were lead actors Jaideep Ahlawat, Nushrat Bharucha, Akash Dahiya, Bijendra Kala, Vansh Bhardwaj, Chandra Choor Rai, Jatin Sarna and Soundarya Sharma.
Talking about the music of the film and the song recorded by him, Suresh Raina says, "Cricket will always remain my passion and while playing, music has always given me company in between. While listening to music, singing became a hobby and I have been interested in doing something in singing when I am free. My wife Priyanka is from Meerut and the Producer of this movie Shoeb Ahmed is a family friend of mine, a few days back he discussed his upcoming movie Meeruthiya Gangsters and insisted that I sing a song for it. Priyanka further convinced me to utilize this opportunity for trying my hand in singing. On Sunday we recorded this melodious track and I really enjoyed it. I hope listeners and fans will appreciate my effort as they have all this while supported me whenever I am playing the game for my country”.

Shoeb Ahmed said “Suresh Raina’s song has become a highlight of our film and the fact he sang so well shows he has many other talents apart from being a great cricketer. We have been friends for many years and it’s a measure of his warm personality that he has sung for my film.”

OMG! Ranveer Singh Stays Silent for the Sake of Bajirao!

Ever heard of a silent, not talkative Ranveer Singh? Not someone we are familiar with, right? 

Well, the energetic star has practiced complete silence & zero conversation while shooting for the magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’. 

Says a source from the sets, “While shooting for this film, Ranveer stays completely silent when he is on the sets. Yes, even we were completely surprised! When he is not shooting or acting in front of the camera, Ranveer is internalizing the dialogues, the scene & the complex emotions from the film.” 

Playing Bajirao has been both physically & emotionally demanding for the young actor, given a shoulder injury that needed surgery & still needs therapy. The Maratha warrior has been portrayed as an intense, emotional person who goes through a lot during the course of this film. To deliver this, Ranveer needs to concentrate & literally feel every bit of these roller coaster emotions. Which is why, he prefers to not be his friendly, gregarious self on the sets of this film. 

A source close to the actor said, “Ranveer even communicates with his staff via sign language! He stays solitary & prefers to be quiet throughout. When he goes on set though, he is every bit of the warrior king Bajirao and that makes his silent effort well worth it!” 

With elaborate preparations & consummate dedication, Ranveer Singh is definitely pushing the envelope as Peshwa Bajirao.

वायकोम १८ मोशन पिचर्स की आगमी फिल्म "टाइम आउट " से निर्देशक रिखिल बाहदुर इस फिल्म से निर्देशन से डेब्यू कर रहे है।  इस फिल्म ऐसे दो भाइयो की कहानी जो जो जावन उम्र के सफर में अपनी अलग पहचान तलाशते है। 

हम फिल्म की बात करे तो फिल्म समलैंगिकता पर आधारित है जो की बहुत ही सेंसेटिव विषय है, निर्माता फिल्म के लिए अभिनेता प्रणय पचौरी और वेदब्रत राव के बीच  कुछ चुम्बन दृश्य फिल्माने थे , पर किसी कारण इन दृश्य का फिल्मांकन नहीं हो सका। 

शूटिंग लोकेशन से मिले सूत्रों के नुसार " निर्माताओ ने दोनों मेल अभिनेता को चुंबन दृश्य के लिए राजी भी कर लिया था , लेकिन उसी दिन दोनों भी अभिनेताओं के पैरेंट सेट पर आधमके और उन्होंने स्क्रिप्ट पढ़ी तब उन्हें पता चला की फिल्म के लिए दोनों अभिनेताओं के बीच चुंबन दृश्य फिल्माना है तो वे बहुत ही गुस्सा हुए। 

​फिल्म टाइम आउट के लिए यह सीन काफी मायने रखता था पर एक्टर्स के पेरेंट्स के कारण इस सीन को फिल्म से निकाल दिया गया।

Since the movie deals with a sensitive issue like homosexuality, the makers have incorporated a kissing scene that was supposed to be picturised on two male actors of the movie – Pranay Pachauri and Vedabrata Rao but unfortunately they had to cancel the plan.

A source who was present on the shooting location informs, “Initially, the makers have convinced the two male actors for the kissing scene considering the script demand. But on that day, the parents of both the actors landed up on the sets and read the script. All hell broke loose when they learnt that their kids have to do a lip-lock scene.”

“Considering Time Out didn’t require much of intimacy factor, the idea of this particular scene was immediately taken off on the parents’ insistence,” the source adds.

Time Out starring Chirag Malhotra, Pranay Pachauri and Vedabrata Rao in pivotal roles is slated to release on September 25, 2015.

g film "The Last Witch Hunter", says it was his childhood ambition to work with veteran actor Michael Caine.

Last seen on the big screen in "Furious 7", Diesel shared that working with Caine in "The Last Witch Hunter", was a dream come true.

"I jumped straight into this ('The Last Witch Hunter') after 'Furious 7'. I was prepared to take a year off, but I said the one way I do this so fast is, if we could get this one thing I wanted, needed and dreamed of, which was working with Michael Caine.

"It has been my ambition to work with him since I was a child. I am a little loopy right now. I have been working with my hero," Diesel said in a statement.

Diesel will be seen in the role of Klauder, an 800-year-old immortal witch-hunter.

While on a London trip recently, he bought his favorite brand of coffee not only for himself, but for all the contestants of a Dance Reality Show, on which he is a judge.

Shahid picked up several bottles of his favorite brand of coffee, which is also regarded as one of the most expensive coffee brand globally.
Spokesperson confirms the news and adds, "The Jhalak unit keeps shooting round the clock and many feel very sleep during the night. It's an exhausting, gruelling schedule which goes on for hours and Shahid himself often feels so sleepy that he has to have several cups of coffee to stay awake. He even brewed it, cappuccino-style, just the way he loves it. It was very generous of the actor as he must have spent a small fortune buying the stuff!"

The Spokesperson further adds that Shahid drinks almost eight to ten cups of coffee everyday. "Shahid collects various kinds of coffee during his travels abroad, as he is very fond of gourmet coffee. In fact, today he's quite an expert on coffee-making and can hold forth on everything from how to brew it better to enriching the taste."

This just tells us that the 'Haider' Star is not only a versatile performer, but also a connoisseur of coffee.

Bhushan Kumar’s “Dheere Dheere” becomes a digital sensation

The song that created a roar in the 90s has yet again become a digital sensation in 2015. Yo Yo Honey Singh along with T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar have brought back the cult song of Aashiqui ‘Dheere Dheere Se’ with a modern twist. A tribute in the loving memory of Bhushan Kumar’s father Shri Gulshan Kumar, Yo Yo Honey Singh recomposed the track with a change in lyrics that has become a digital sensation.

The recreated track which was launched 2 days back on the music label’s official YouTube channel has received more than 4 million views till date. The song featuring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor has become the first Indian song to get the fastest 1 million views. The song created quite a buzz on social media by trending two days before the track was to me launched and also post the launch. The chemistry between Hrithik and Sonam which is quite sizzling is sung, written and composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh and his mother Bhupinder Kaur has also contributed to the lyrics of the song.

Imran-Kangana faced ups and downs while filming for Katti Batti.

The Katti Batti couple Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut had suffered injuries while filming for a comic fight scene in the film.

The light hearted scene got serious as Imran acquired cuts on his hand.

The comic fight scene in the film required Imran to climb up a fountain, this ended in the actor suffering minor injuries on his hands.

The injuries not being major, Imran continued filming throughout the day.

This particular scene also required a sequence in a water fountain which was full of chlorine.

Both the actors had to be drenched entirely in chlorine water.

After shooting for the scene a couple of times, the actors were not only covered in the chemical but also smelled of it.

The entire team along with Irman & Kangana had a good laugh over it.

As I mentioned to you, Amaal Mallik is debuting as a singer for the song 'Oh Khuda' in the film Hero. The song is composed by him and the female singer is Palak Muchaal. The lyrics are written by Kumaar.

Amaal Mallik, who debuted as a music composer with Salman Khan's 'Jai Ho' in 2014, is on a roll. After churning out few chartbusters like 'Sooraj Dooba Hai', 'Naina', 'Chaar Shanivaar', 'Zindagi Aa Raha Hun Main' and the recently released 'Main Hoon Hero Tera' among others, the budding composer is all set to debut as a singer with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starrer 'Hero'.

Amaal will be debuting as singer in his first song 'O Khuda' along with Palak Mucchal featuring the debutantes Sooraj and Athiya. While the song was initially offered to multiple singers, on Salman Khan's insistence, it was decided that Amaal would sing. Baahubali mints 120 crores and sails past 50 days of release.

The record breaking film Baahubali has shown its audience 'The Beginning' of revolution in Indian Cinema.

With the power packed visuals and impeccable screenplay the film sticks strongly in theatres.

Crossing 50 days of release the film stands at a whooping 120 crore box office return in its Hindi version alone.

Baahubali stormed theatres in July and is continuing to enjoy a strong stance.
