CONCEPT
Satya Paul continues to celebrate three decades in the Indian Fashion Industry by redefining its design ethos with a second collection co designed by celebrity style icon Gauri Khan, titled ‘Mata Hari.  Inspired by shades of the sensuous Dutch courtesan Mata Hari’s life, the collection diverges into three looks - Temptation, Jeweled and Pierced. The line explores her life’s duality of contrasts blended together with ornamentation and colors that are mystical, deep and contrasting. The collection is a juxtaposition of signature Satya Paul print infused into newer fabrics and silhouettes.

PRINT
The collection comprises of seductive Rose petal prints in a vintage color palette and body art motifs with scripts and scribbles of Mata Hari’s mysterious letters printed playfully on the Sarees and wraps. With contrasting elements like lace prints with animal motifs and ornamentation with modern colourful brush strokes, this collection is a unique blend of the traditional and futuristic.  

SILHOUETTES
Gauri Khan’s effortless and graceful style has translated into fluid, leisurely separates that ease movement. The collection offers modern silhouettes with mesh inserted sheer shirts for evening cocktails to asymmetric long tunics for day outs. With their free-flowing leisurely drapes, these garments have been designed for the modern day Satya Paul muse who goes through the entire day looking chic and stylish without compromising on her comfort.

COLORS
The color story is a sensual mix of bright tints and somber hues. The palette comprises a vibrant and unique array of shades from Amber and burnt Orange to Marsala and Turquoise. The mystical and lustful colors with deep sunset ombres celebrate Mata Hari’s evocative life.

FABRICS
Satins and georgettes remain essential to Sarees. This season, Satya Paul pays homage to the traditional Banarsi fabrics and weavers. The collection consists of a spectrum of unique blends of crepe and georgette combined with luxe organza and Banarasi silk. Exclusively woven Banarsi blends have been created and used in garments along with silk, velvet, chanderi, zari, net and organza.
A variety of embellishment techniques of laser cutting and foiling, with lace, dori and resham embroidery are skillfully crafted into the collection.
                                                                                                                                                                         
ACCESSORIES
The collection includes scarves, stoles, ties, pocket squares, bags and clutches. The Autumn Winter range sees a wider variety of Men’s accessories than ever before with the introduction of slim 4MM and crystallized series of ties, including a special range of corporate gifting sets.

BRIDAL

Radhika Apte signs Rajnikant's next.



After creating immense noise for her performance in Ahalya, actress Radhika Apte has now officially confirmed her next project opposite Tamil superstar Rajnikanth!

The actress will be seen playing the lead actress in the film which is set to be directed by Pa Ranjith. The rumour which was doing the rounds for a while now has been put to rest with Radhika officially signing the film.

Adding to this the actress says, “I don’t know how to describe the feeling. It will take some time to sink in. I don’t think there is anybody bigger than Rajini sir. The director of the film, Pa Ranjith, is also exceptionally good. So, I am thrilled that everything worked out. I am also excited because I will finally get to meet Rajinikanth,” says Radhika.

Although Radhika has worked in a few Tamil films in the past, she admits that she isn’t entirely familiar with the language and will indulge in extensive preparations to master the same.

The actress has been in news off late for several reasons. Her look and performance in the tele-film directed by Anurag Basu was widely loved by the audience, following which ahalya gathered the actress huge praises. Moreover, the actress’s film Parched has all the way been shortlisted for the Toronto International Film Festival.

अंकिता श्रीवास्तव जो की बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू कर रही है फिल्म वेलकम बैक से। इस फिल्म में वे अभिनेता नाना पाटेकर और अनिल कपूर संग रोमांस करती हुई नजर आएँगी। वे कहती है में कभी श्रीदेवी मैडम से मिली नहीं हु पर में उनकी बहुत बड़ी फैन हु। 

सूत्रों की माने तो " अंकिता ने कई बार चांदनी फिल्म को देखा है , और वे बखूब श्रीदेवी की तरह एक्टिंग करने की कोशिश भी करती है।  जब वेलकम बैक के ऑडिशंस हो रहे थे तभी अंकिता ने  चांदनी फिल्म में श्रीदेवी के रोल की नक़ल की यह एक्टिंग निर्माता फ़िरोज़ नाडीयाडवाला और निर्देशक अनीज बज्मी को खूब पसंद आयी।  ऑडिशन के बाद ही अंकिता को फिल्म वेलकम बैक में नजफगढ़ की राजकुमारी का किरदार मिला। 

निर्देशक अनीज बज्मी कहते है " हमने जब अंकिता की चांदनी के रूप में एक्टिंग देखि  बहुत अच्छी लगी , फ़िरोज़ भाई को वह असल चांदनी लगी तो हम दोनों ने उनके किरदार को भी चांदनी यह नाम दे दिया। 

Randeep to move into his own house



Randeep Hooda, who has just returned from Malaysia after a two-month long shoot schedule of Deepak Tijori's Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, and is currently gearing up for the Toronto premiere of his Deepa Mehta film, Beeba Boys in September, had also been house-hunting since the past few months.

And the actor’s search has finally come to an end. Randeep has finally found a house of his own. The Highway star admits that he’s been a free spirit all his life, but now, it’s time to put down his roots and be a son to his parents. 

Randeep shares that he was actually quite keen on buying his current apartment that he had rented as he calls it his ‘lucky flat’. However, since the owner is not interested in selling the flat, Randeep has found another apartment in the same building, a few floors above. He says, “Candy (his canine pet) and I will move up in the new flat, but I’ll continue to rent this pad for my parents. This way I can ensure that they are comfortable and my family is around me.”

When further asked, now that he’ll have his own house soon, isn’t it time to start the hunt for a Mrs Hooda too? He laughs and says, “Candy is quite enough for now, thank you.”

Sightsavers Hosts Photography Exhibition Clicked by Visually Impaired Photographers

Mumbai, 1st August, 2015: Sightsaversa development organisation that works to prevent avoidable blindness, restore sight and advocate for social inclusion and equal rights for people with disabilities recently organised a photography exhibition of the photos clicked by visually impaired photographers at the Inorbit Mall (Malad), Mumbai. The photos as showcased in the exhibition are a part of ‘The Blind View’ campaign – a photography workshop initiated by Sightsavers in association withBeyond Sight Foundation (BSF) for the visually impaired photography enthusiasts and is being supported by Her Highness Sheikha Arwa Al Qassimi.

Sharing his views on this initiative, Mr. RN Mohanty CEO, Sightsavers India said, “Our society still doesn’t know the actual problems faced by a visually impaired person. Also, they may think that a blind person becomes a liability to his/her family. Sightsavers intends to change this view and show that even a blind person can become independent and pursue his interests.”

Mr. Partho Bhowmick, Founder, Beyond Sight Foundation (BSF) said, “This exhibition can be a connecting link between the abled and disabled. It will help people understand the world of a blind person from a clearer perspective.”

The photography workshop took place in the month of June this year and the participants were trained to click perfect pictures under supervision of skilled experts. The workshop also witnessed participation of a renowned visually impaired photographer Bhavesh Patel, who recently did a photo-shoot with Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif.

Bhavesh said, “We are a part of this society and ‘Sympathy’ is not what we are asking for. We just want to be treated like any other normal human being in the society. This is a great platform to let people take a look at our ‘Vision’.”

After the successful completion of the workshop in Mumbai, 20 pictures depicting 7 different themes were shortlisted in which visually impaired participants are clicked by other blind participants doing a series of interesting activities. Each picture depicts a story in itself representing different aspects of the blind experience.

In addition to the photo exhibition, Sightsavers had arranged for other fun filled and interesting activities that would offer visitors a closer look at a blind person’s life.

“This exhibition is our effort to showcase the glimpses of the life of a blind person - how they perform their daily chores, how do they commute to office and so on...” saidAmal Gupta, Senior Manager, Brand & Communications, Sightsavers.

The event also witnessed huge number of people signing Sightsavers’ petition on Change.org with an appeal to make public transport, media and printed material, and goods & services more accessible. Sightsavers will submit the petition to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, on completion of the campaign.

Ayushmann to Host Kids’ Discussion for ‘Support my School’ Campaign


July 24, 2015:  Ayushmann Khurana advocates genuine concern & strong opinion in favour of equal opportunities for all children. A thinking actor, Ayushmann has spoken in favor of emancipation for the girl child on social media.

He is also popular with youngsters & children because of his unpretentious approach. Which is why, Ayushmann will be participating in the nationwide NDTV Coca-Cola Support my School’ Campaign, Season 3. A televised event that will be held in Bangalore on July 31, Ayushmannwill be part of a proactive panel discussion with school children on the challenges that government schools face. Getting kids to connect to kids their age, especially young girls, is the thrust of this discussion.

Ayushmann has also donated substantially in the past towards this campaign. The NDTV campaign focuses on enhancing basic infrastructure in government & rural schools. As has been proven, adolescent girls often drop out from school, as they don’t even have access to a toilet! A sad state of affairs, it has also been proven that school children from urban areas impact opinion in favour of better sanitation, water & environments for less privileged schools.

A constant supporter of this campaign over the years, this time around, Ayushmann hopes to mobilize support for better sanitation infrastructure that will help girl children to continue their studies. Hollywood Filmmaker Michelle better known as Nandita Singgha in India says every actor is good and I have great respect for Mr. Aamir Khan for his Hindi movies. He has showcased his talent with a proven track record and there is no doubt in terms of excellence in his meticulous acting skills .However for the Hollywood movie MEGACORP which I am only Directing I had never approached him though he was on my wishlist for another Hollywood & Bollywood flick Mid Dey which I am Producing and Directing as well in co- Production with Hollywood production house based in US. Aamir Khan with Satyamev Jayate image  could have done justice to J Dey 's role however there's another A Grade Star who is in consideration who knew J Dey personally too who can get into the skin of the character and also do proper justice to showcase the greatness of Indian Journalism globally. However the Final Draft of Mid Dey and other pending delays by the creative writers, Co- writers of Mid Dey has delayed the Project which she had announced in the month of March 2015 and now out of her 4 movies RED,J Returns,MEGACORP and Mid Dey and thus  Mid Dey film will now be the last release. Mid Dey shoot will commence in March 2017 and will give enough time to the actors to get into the skin of the character and the dates will also be managed along with a renowned Hollywood actress.Nandita will first shoot for J Returns then later her dates are in the process of being blocked. MidDey will now release after MEGACORP in December 2017 due to dates scheduling and preparation by A grade Hindi film industry star. The preparation from writers are still pending for the final draft. 

I have shortlisted Hrithik Roshan for Hollywood movie MEGACORP after seeing the FANS Poll Results response where Crores of people viewed not only in India but overseas as well which resulted in more than 1 Lakh shares  in the poll conducted by a renowned Bollywood website (Bollywood Life). This reconfirmed my faith about Hrithik Roshan's popularity in India as I had already referred him to the Hollywood Production House after watching his latest ad film for Mountain Dew with the tagline "Dar ke aage Jeet hai" . I strongly felt that Hrithik should have been in Hollywood long back as he can add value with his freshness in Hollywood movies. MEGACORP will be shot in Namibia from December 2016 onwards and 80 % will be completed in One schedule itself. Hrithik's details and ad film video have been sent to the Hollywood production house for approval and consideration and accordingly if everything works out I too will join them in US. The Hollywood production company is extremely happy with Michelle which is Nandita Singhha 's birth name. The shooting location for MEGACORP does not have proper facilities for boarding and lodging being a realistic location and is located in a remote location in Namibia but Nandita Singgha says we are here to meet all challenges then only the true incident based movie MEGACORP  with entertainment value will be liked by audience worldwide. Let's wait and watch what's there in store for this film project. The Hollywood production house based in US will announce formally the entire Cast & Crew in October 2016 before the shoot starts as part of marketing and publicity campaign. She reiterates," In the MEGACORP  movie I am only the Director and all decisions are taken by the Hollywood Production House. "

इतना ही नहीं जाने माने फिल्म समीक्षकों  ने   भी   विकी  के  अभिनय  की  तारीफ  की   हैं  और  उन्हें  "फाइंड ऑफ़  थे  ईयर " भी  कहा  जा  रहा  है . कई  लोगो  को  तो  यह  भी  नहीं  पता  है  की  विकी  को  डेब्यूटांट  डायरेक्टर  मोसेस  ने  अपनी  आगामी  फिल्म  ज़ुबान  के  लिए  सबसे  पहले  साइन किया  था ,प्रतिभाशाली अभिनेता  विकी  कौशल  डायरेक्टर  मोसेज़ की  खोज  हैं .
मोसेज़ " मैंने काम से काम ४०० लोगो के ऑडिशन लिए थे पर मुझे कुछ खास नहीं दिखा, लेकिन जब विकी आये ऑडिशन के लिए तब मुझे लगा की इसी टैलेंट की मुझे तलाश थी "

विकी का कहना  है की " ज़ुबान मेरे दिल के सबसे करीब है , क्योंकि यह मेरी पहली फिल्म है जिसे मैंने साइन किया था, मुझे बहुत ख़ुशी है की मोसेज़ ने मुझपर विश्वास दिखाया की मैं की मैं फिल्म में चॅलेंजिंग किरदार निभा सकु.  

 

“After 400 auditions, Vicky was finalised for Zubaan”


Says filmmaker Mozez Singh about his discovery, Vicky Kaushal, who's garnering praises for his latest release, Masaan.
Director Neeraj Ghaywan’s latest release, Masaan starring Richa Chaddha and Vicky Kaushal has received warm response and encouraging feedback from Bollywood denizens and trade pundits. Both Vicky and Richa who have been paired opposite for the first time in the award winning and internationally-lauded film Masaan have also been applauded for their stupendous performances.



In fact, few acclaimed critics while praising Vicky and the movie has mentioned about the talented actor being ‘Find of the year’. Not many are aware that Vicky was initially signed by debutant director Mozez Singh for his coming-of-age musical Zubaan and that the young actor is his discovery.  



A telecommunications engineering student, Vicky always nurtured the dream of becoming an actor and after complete his studies he assisted Anurag Kashyap on The Gangs Of Wasseypur series, and then landed his first starring role in a short film, Geek Out. The shorts producer Guneet Monga (of The Lunchbox fame) showed it to Mozez, who was on the lookout for the next big thing to star in Zubaan that will re-define the genre in India. Equipped with charisma, amazing screen presence and a killer audition, Vicky bagged the role in Zubaan.



Mozez: "For months on end, I had auditioned more than 400 aspiring actors and was dissatisfied with all of them. But from the moment Vicky came in to test, he blew me away. He was brilliant. Intense, soulful and completely playful at the same time. I gave him toughest lines for the audition and was quite surprised with the way he enacted those scenes. He used to come to the studio and rehearse for the scene almost two weeks before he was finalised for the role. I saw a startling versatility in him."


Says Vicky, "Zubaan will always be very special to me since its the first movie that I had signed. I'll be grateful to Mozez for his faith and trust in me and believing that I can pull off the challenging role in Zubaan."



Son of veteran action director Sham Kaushal, Vicky will be launched this year in Sikhya Entertainment’s & Metamozez Entertainment’s Zubaan, directed by Mozez Singh.

Music Launch - Gour Hari Dastaan by the hands of L Subramaniam






The event was the launch of the music album of the movie Gour Hari Dastaan ~ the freedom file from the hands of legendary musician L Subramaniam and his wife Kavita Krishnamurthy.

The film marks a comeback of Mr. L Subramaniam to Bollywood after 25 long years. He has composed a special theme song and a revised version of the famous ‘ Vaishno Janato ‘ along with 6 other sound tracks in the movie.

The movie is based on a freedom fighter Mr. Gour Hari Das talks about the journey of a man who started with a vision and chalked his journey through a lot of hardships but finally achieved his goal with lot of dignity and respect. Incidentally the freedom fighter ; Gour Hari ji himself was present at the event and addressed the media. On the occasion of the music launch he said , “ I am happy to have been standing in front of all of you and tell a tale which will hopefully be liked by the audience. These are my efforts in bringing out a small part of the struggle that our Nation went through 67 years back. “


The movie boasts a stellar cast like Vinay Pathak – Koknana Sen Sharma – Ranveer Shorey – Tanishta Chaterjee to name a few..
