Jeet Gannguli's Khamoshiyan title track tops the chartbuster

This year, Jeet Gannguli already has the title track of KHAMOSHIYAN which is topping the charts on all radio stations and in constant demand by listeners, even on YouTube the song has got over 3 Million views already.

The journey which  started with ‘Chahat' and Jo teri sang’ (BLOOD MONEY) has collected many superhit milestones like ‘Hum mar jayenge, Milne hai Mujhse Ayi, Bhula Dena Mujhe, Chahun Main Ya Na from ’(AASHIQUI 2), ‘Muskurane ki wajah’ (CITY LIGHTS), "Suno Na Sangemarmar" (YOUNGISTAAN) or the more recent KHAMOSHIYAN title track, his soulful music has fans all over.  

When asked Jeet about his recent song, Jeet says "The song Khamoshiyan saw me delve deep inside my soul ...I was given no brief on the song situation by the Bhatts except this one liner: "Bring us the melody hidden in silence." So began my journey within...from my initial bewilderment as to how to capture the mood, the creation of this song made me search the depth of my soul...where absolute silence prevails. Composing for Khamoshiyan has been like a catharsis to me...I have had to stand in front of my own self and look deep down my self. My heartfelt thanks to Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt who have given me the scope to score this number which has found place in the heart of people at large. Hunterrr trailer crosses 1 million views in 2 days

The trailer of Phantom Film’s next ‘Hunterrr’ has crossed 1 million views in just 2 days.

The trailer has been receiving a phenomenal response. Within 2 days of being launched, it has crossed 1 million views.

Usually the trailers of films of established actors get such a large number of views.

The trailer left quite a few people dumbfounded. After watching the trailer at its launch, many people were at a loss for words.

The trailer is already a huge hit and its views are constantly increasing.

Hunterrr is a coming of age film about a young guy.  

Written and directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, the film features Gulshan Devaiah, Radhika Apte and Sai Tamhankar in lead roles.

Hunterrr is scheduled for release on 20th March 2015.

Ayushmann composes, records and sings a song overnight for his film Hawaizaada

Ayushmann Khurrana has had a first timer with everything while shooting for Hawaizaada.

The actor has composed and sung the popular ghazal of Mirza Galib titled 'Dil-E-Nadaan' for the film after which he has been credited as the music director of the same.

The director and actor duo overnight composed, sung and recorded a song while shooting for the film at Gondal, Gujarat.

Ayushmann started humming a tune and Vibhu Puri felt it would suit the scene that they required it for and was keen to shoot the song the very next day.

There were no instruments on the sets but they somehow managed to arrange for a guitar from a local who was Ayushmann Khurrana's fan and readily lent him the instrument.

The pilot recorder recorded the song overnight & the very next day they shot the song in gujarat.

They shot the song with with a rough version and later re-recorded the song.

The film is a Tribute to Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who flew the first unmanned plane 8 years before the wright brothers & is all set to release on 30th Jan 2015.

Richa on Spiritual trail

It is said that what goes around comes around. Richa shot in Banaras for Gangs of Wasseypur and it turned out to be the turning point of her life. And now she is shooting in Banaras again for her next film Masaan with Neeraj Ghaywan. In past 3 months Richa is on out and out spiritual trail, as previously she was shooting in Ayodhaya for her film with Sudhir Mishra, Now she recently wrapped up shoot in Banaras for Masaan and then if things work out she will be soon shooting in Haridwar for her next film.

“​I'm spiritual, very in fact. But not necessarily religious. It's co0incidental how I have been to all the religious places in past two months of shoot. Ayodhya, Benaras and may be haridwar soon. It definitely is like being in a different era. The places have such an old world feel and it feels amazing to be one with those places. In fact I wrapped up Masaan in Benaras last month.” Says Richa

Richa is a very spiritual person, She just enjoys travelling to all the religious places as she believes these places not only give her mental peace but also helps her enjoy the rich culture of India which the gen next is hardly aware of.

Radhika refuses to see Choker Bali

RadhikaApte who is soon going to be essaying the role of, Binodini in AnuragBasu’s version of Chokher Bali for the small screen has consciously taken a decision of not seeing the earlier attempt / films on the same bio-pic.

The previous film was directed by RitupunaGhosh starring the gorgeous AishwaryaRaiBachhan. Not only was the film declared a box office hit it also won a National Award.

Is it a conscious decision or the fear of being compared which led to this step for the director and the actress?

Commenting on the same Radhika says, “I wanted to work with a fresh approach. I mean I have utmost admiration for everyone's work. It's just that like any other actor I don't want be blinded or influenced. It's very unintentional at time. Both Anurag  and I felt that I should have my own touch and feel for this character. At the risk of sounding selfish I would also say that, it wouldn’t be justice to me as an actor to have taken reference from someone elses version of this character”

After Hitler, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! too?

While a lot of conversation has been going around on the declassification of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s files, director Dibakar Banerjee voiced his opinion on the mystery.

There has been a lot of curiosity and mystery around Subhash Chandra Bose’s disappearance. Dibakar was keen to know about the life of the legend when the authorities backed out of declassifying the files as promised.

Recently the director even made a statement on how the history being the disappearance of the legend should not be a mystery.

At a recent event in Calcutta Dibakar Banerjee said, “It is a very puzzling issue and it puzzles me. Mystery is mystery but history cannot be mystery. History cannot be hidden and if my information tells me right between the PMO and the external affair ministry there are about 60 to 80 files on Netaji which are classified and they have declassified about 10. Still large measures of these files are not declassified and I think a legend like Netaji, his life is heritage of India and it should not be a mystery. We should all know."

But it only raises one question on why is Dibakar championing the case of Subhash Chandra Bose’s files?

Recently it was revealed that Hitler might be the villain of the film. Set in 1943 the film has World War 2 as the back drop. Not many people may  remember that Subhash Chandra Bose had aligned with 

​Hitler​

 when he had visited Germany.

Byomkesh being a Bengali, the film is set in Calcutta during the same time when Subhash Chandra Bose was campaigning for Indian Independence from there.

Would we also see a glimpse of the life of the legend?

All we can do is wait for the film to hit the silver screen.

Abhishek Kapoor makes special arrangements for the Fitoor team in Kashmir

The temperatures this year have drastically dipped, especially in the North.

Kashmir is facing acute winter and the Fitoor team who was scheduled to shoot in January is now making special arrangements.

The film has finished the first schedule in November during Autumn and were to return in January.

However the team has been ancy with the harsh winters the state is currently facing and hence have been doing extra preparations.

There is a great deal of discussion on nitty gritties to combat the extreme weather condition

A lot of shoot is outdoors so they have arranged for special gas heaters which are more effective.They are also making arrangements for extra electric points for heaters near camera set up and monitors.

The team has also actively be doing workshops and narrations in Mumbai to ensure the scenes are sketched out and on sets it takes minimum points.

They also had an extensive meeting with the stylist to ensure the clothes are warm, multi layered and yet does not show on screen. The team has been doing trials and fittings for the same.

Even the crew has been in structured to carry extra warm clothes.

Infact a special team will be going a few days prior to double check on the arrangements

Spokesperson shared, "The winters this time around are extreme and accordingly we have taken extra measures to tackle the cold. We are taking all the necessary measures to ensure the shoot goes seamlessly."

Sushant Singh Rajput is really getting into the skin of the character for his role as the legendary cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Neeraj Pandey’s bio-pic titled “M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story”. Sushant has been working very hard for more than 4 months now, practicing to play and keep the ball like our Captain Cool. Kriti Sanon has been missing home food as she lives alone here.. 

Kriti Sanon who has spent her childhood in Delhi had been missing home food. 

The actress shifted her base to Mumbai a while back where she stays all by herself. The actress misses the taste of home and food cooked by her mother.

Kriti was keen to start the year at her home town. She made some time in her schedule to visited Delhi for the new years to spend time with her friends and family.

During her stay there, relished home food.

There was also a small gathering where the family and friends got together for dinner which was prepared by her mother.

Kriti Sanon's tech worries

Kriti Sanon, who is an engineer by qualification, is very tech savvy. She is always in the know-how about gizmos and gadgets.

The young actress is fond of gadgets and is always up to date about the latest technology available in the market.

She regularly updates the software in her phone and downloads the latest applications available in the market.

But the application she likes and uses the most is Whatsapp.

She feels it is very handy and finds it a very convenient tool to communicate with people.

Kriti stays in touch with all her friends, family and people she works with using WhatsApp.
She also has a lot of friends across borders that she regularly keeps in touch with using the app.

WhatsApp has recently started charging its users and Kriti hopes that it does not charge more, or increase its charges going forward.

She feels that it will lose its value and USP if its charges increase as there won’t be much difference left between regular SMS’s and Whatsapp.

Also, its users will decrease as a lot of people will discontinue using the app, and Kriti does not want to lose touch with people.

Kriti who made her debut with the commercially successful Heropanti is currently preparing for her roles in Singh in Bling and Farzi.

Sidharth Malhotra is keen to be a part of a sports biopic.

The young actor has always been very fond of sports. In school, the actor was actively into playing Basketball and Tennis and he also played Rugby in college.

Even now, the actor is very fond of playing Football and plays the sport very often to stay fit.

Given a chance to be a part of a bio-pic, the actor would choose a sportsperson as he feels that there is a lot of potential in their story and there are a lot of interesting things you can showcase about their lives.

However, he feels that there are not a lot of filmmakers who have invested in their stories except for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which is also recent.

We have seen Sidharth being very versatile in his choices.  Right from playing the boy next door character to the grungy character, he has moulded himself brilliantly in various films and there is immense growth in him as an actor in Hasee Toh Phasee to Ek Villain. He physically changes himself for his films.

Going forward, we will see Sidharth play a wrestler for the first time in Brothers. He also has Nitya Mehra’s film & Vikramaditya Motwane's Bhavesh Joshi , both of which will go on floors this year.

Says Sidharth, "There are so many interesting personalities whose stories are untold. Personally I would love to be part of a biopic of a sportsperson."

Trailer launch of film Hunterrr

Phantom Films has yet another creative film in their hat. The production house will be next seen working on a coming of age film called Hunterrr.

The film had its trailer launch yesterday at Juhu. The film has an ensemble cast of some very talented artists.

Hunterrr is about the life of a guy called Mandar Ponkshe and his quirky ways of getting a girl. Gulshan Devaiah will be seen playing the role of Mandar.

Present at event were Vikramaditya Motvane, Vikas Bahl, Gulshan Devaiah, Harshvardhan Kulkarni, Veera Sexana, Khamosh Shah, among others.

Govinda launches the trailer of Ganesh Acharya starrer 'Hey Bro'

It was an evening to remember, where Govinda graced the event, to launch the trailer of Ganesh Acharya's upcoming film HEY BRO.

We will be seeing Masterji playing the lead role in the film, along with actors Maninder and Nupur Sharma.

Also present at the trailer launch were veteran actor Prem Chopra, Mika Singh, Mahie Gill, Hanif Hilal and many more
