And now, the riveting 24 hours in the life of Jai Singh Rathod which set the country pulsating in its first season is all set to make a comeback on popular demand on Viacom18’s second general entertainment channel Rishtey. The viewers will once again be a  part of ATU Chief Jai Singh aka Anil Kapoor’s  journey  as he  races against time to save Prime Ministerial candidate Aditya Singhania (Neil Bhoopalam) from assassination in this enthralling espionage drama, that redefined  Indian television through its slick narrative. The show will air every Monday to Saturday at 9.00 PM on Rishtey.

Madhur Bhandarkar’s next Calendar Girls

Madhur Bhandarkar’s next titled Calendar Girls that revolves around the models who gain popularity after featuring in famous calendars has gone on floor this month. While everyone is aware that the film is being shot, no one is aware about the cast of the film since the director is shooting it at a guarded set.

Madhur is not entertaining any visitor while he is shooting the film and no one is allowed to carry mobile phones or cameras while the shoot is on. Not only this, Producer Sangeeta Ahir of Mangal Murti Films has made sure that apart from the cast, the whole crew signs a non disclosure agreement so that no information is leaked to any outsider.

Says Sangeeta Ahir, “Madhur has opted for five newcomers for the film and there is a strategy to talk about them at the right time. Right now our priority is to get done with the shoot and once we are closer to the release, a marketing campaign will initiate to talk about the girls who are being launched.”

Adds Madhur, “While we were looking for glamorous girls, it was important that they act well too since the film is heavy on content. I am happy that we managed to get the right cast.”

We heard the film shot on a lavish scale in Mumbai and at one of the exotic location abroad will have lots of glitz and glamour.

Now we are sure everyone is waiting with baited breath to see the sizzling hot girls. While we can only tell you that all the five girls come from a modeling background from various cities across India and have the figure and height to die for, you will have to wait a bit longer to know who they are.

Vibrant dancer Tara-Jean Popowich says goodbye to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa!

A 20-year-old Canadian dancer comes to India with a dream… A dream to make a name for herself in the world of Indian entertainment! That is Tara-Jean Popowich for you. However, as all good things come to an end, the extraordinary dancer has finally bid adieu to COLORS’ dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Pitted against child prodigy Akshat Singh in the face-off, Tara along with choreographer Jack missed the bus to the final six by a matter of a couple of points.

A wildcard contestant, Tara was lovingly rechristened Popo by anchor Manish Paul as she won accolades from the judges and audiences alike with her hot and happening moves.  During her journey the international dance show winner found herself in the bottom two at two separate occasions – once against television actor Kiku Sharda and a second time against Akshat Singh when she found herself ousted from the show. Being a seasoned dancer, Popo put up some stunningly memorable performances encapsulating various dance forms which wowed audiences. Always warm and smiling, the artiste cemented a place for herself in the hearts of one and all.

Speaking about her exit Tara said, “I absolutely loved every moment on this stage and I have no regrets whatsoever. This experience has given me friends I can call family and country where I completely feel at home. I’m now looking forward to see what else is in store for me in India!”
