Salman performs high octane action sequences in Kick

Kick is the biggest action film of Salman Khan's career and of this year.

Sajid Nadiadwala has spared no expense for his directorial debut film, Kick.
They have spent a major chunk on the death defying action sequences in the film.
The action that we will see the star Salman Khan doing in Kick are very different from what audiences have seen him do in his earlier films.
To shoot these never seen before action stunts, about 57 cars, 13 buses and
 one
helicopter were blown
 up
.

This is the first time that Salman Khan will be seen doing such high octane, dynamic and powerful action sequences in his film.
It is also the first time any production team has arranged for the given number of vehicles to be exploded in a film like this.
Shot with drones for the first time in a bollywood film, the scale of action is humongous.

Sajid sa
id
, "I like to make films which are larger than life. A particular sequence in the film sees Salman drive through the city, creating a ruckus. We first shot in London but couldn't complete it (the shoot) as Salman couldn't make it there. Then we moved to Poland (they shot in Warsaw). The quiet city had never seen anything of that sort before. Of course, Salman insisted on doing the stunts himself."

Salman said, "I've been lucky to get producers who are willing to spend money. We, as heroes, can only kick that high, or jump that much...
That is when technology comes in, and safety comes in... All of this takes us (as actors) to a whole new level."

We saw glimpses of the powerful action in the trailer of Kick and it has got the audiences teased for more.
The film is slated to release on this Eid, July 25th.

Hrithik Roshan's Statement

Its important we help one another. It is important to know that others will help us in times when we need support, for that, we must take initiative especially in cases where a family are bereaved of a father, who died in the line of duty. There is so much we can do as a society but it needs to start with the individual. And I promise you, when you give, it always pays back. Someday, somehow. Let's stick together. My highest respects and deepest condolences to the family of the brave and courageous Nitin Yevlekar.

Abhay beats Bombay rains and camps in Pune

Abhay Deol’s next, SNAFU will be majorly shot in the youth city, Pune. The actor has had packed for a long 40 day schedule and left for Pune driving down himself. Abhay Deol is known for his quirks and has ensured that he drives down himself on his BMW X6, all the way to Pune from Mumbai.

A source close to the star confirms, “ Abhay loves cars and long drives, given a choice he would drive himself rather than letting his driver do the driving. There has been many instances where he has jumped over to the driver’s seat even in Mumbai. So Abhay certainly could not let go of this opportunity for a long drive and that too in this breezy weather. And why just driving he is somebody who loves nature so that makes it double the reason for him to drive down. Bombay Pune drive is fun, I doubt if he would even take a stopover at Lonavala or somewhere else”.

SNAFU stars Abhay Deol and Manjot Singh in the lead. The duos were last seen in the much loved Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye. Puja Gupta is paired opposite Abhay. Abhay plays the role of Kabir Taneja which has negative shades. He plays a young high-flying corporate consultant in Mumbai mediating mega deals with most men with Big money.   Coincidentally this is Abhay’s third film with the screen name of Kabir.

Sethu Sriram will make his directorial debut in Bollywood, having shot topline projects such as Wanted, Shakti, Tere Naam, OMG and Dusshera as DoP. Sriram has also directed a Kannada film titled Godfather.Talking about the Pune schedule, Sriram said, “We have a packed schedule in Pune and we will shoot all over the city- Malls, multiplexes, boutiques, hotels et al. The majority of this film is slated to be shot in Pune. My DoP has arrived from Chennai and the rest of the crew members have also reached. Abhay will be driving down himself as he loves long drives. We will do a small puja and then roll at break neck speed. The team is very excited, after a hectic pre production the day has finally arrived”.

SNAFU shoot commences

SNAFU shoot rolls and Abhay Deol seems to have lots of fun on the sets. SNAFU is produced by Dolly Gadhoke under her banner Tanaria Stars. The shoot has just started in Pune at a high end plush apartment after a small puja with cast-crew and family.. Abhay will have a forty day long schedule in Pune before moving to Bombay schedule. Major action shots of KICK have been shot using drones

For the very first time, major action shots of Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick have been shot using drones (mini helicopters). This is first time in India and drones are essentially used for Hollywood action films.
The Salman Khan starrer has been shot in a lot of real life locations.
Even in the trailer of the film, we see hard core action shot in Delhi and in Poland.
While they were shooting the action sequences in Poland, Sajid Nadiadwala's production team along with the international team working there arranged for drones to get the best shots.
Multiple drones were used to get shots from different angles so that all sides could be covered.
Drones are expensive and need expertise of different kind to be filmed. This talent was especially flown in ‎from LA.
Be it for promotions or while they were shooting, Sajid Nadiadwala is sparing no expense towards his directorial debut.
With the help of these drones, they managed to get shots even better than usual and Sajid Nadiadwala was very keen to have them.
They had a special team on board to handle the drones as they needed to be handled in a certain way.
Everyone was extremely happy with the outcome.
Recently in Mumbai, a drone was used to deliver a pizza.

Justice Fights with Kapil

Justice Fights with Kapil

"I dont want publicity, I want justice" the words are from reknowed model turned actor Ajaz Khan. The controversy comes from popular tv show 'Comedy Nights wid Kapil.' Ajaz shot an episode for the show with  Kapil but now the comedian Kapil is not airing the same.  The actor said it was his outstanding and dominating performance which made Kapil feel overshadowed, this can be the only reason for not letting the show go on air. The guest in the show Sidhu  Paji also appreciated Ajaz's energy level and the kind of talent he has got.The actor now feels used and cheated after irresponsible and unprofessional attitude of comedian Kapil. There is no response from Kapil's side as he is not responding to Ajaj's calls and messages. But at the same time, Kapil has got all time to respond KRK. Ajaz played a role of bank chor (robber) in that episode. The role played has same name as that of a Yash Raj upcoming film from which Kapil has been outed. Kapil is not looking good at digesting superior performance and fan following of others. The Comedy Nights are turning in to justice fights now. Atleast this was not expected from Kapil, such a big performer, Ajaz claims his point.

RAJA NATWARLAL trailer

Hate Story 2 review by ANIZ FILMVALA

Hate Story 2

review by

 ANIZ FILMVALA

*****

Hate Story 2 had to be a nasty vendetta tale of sex, hate and love. The intensity of retribution is nowhere; instead a ridiculed way of killing is a funny sight to bear for two full hours. No boldness, no nudity and no sensuality at all.

Director Vishal Pandya has cordon the glamour of sexy siren Surveen Chawla and wasted her for irrelevant act of romantic predicament.

Two aspiring photography student Surveen and Bhanushali meet and out of the blue get into a romantic isle to live with each other till eternity. But the sexy dame is a bed slave to Sushant Singh a notorious politician [how and when not known?].

The baddy discovers both humming into "Aaj Phir Tumpe Pyaar Aaya Hai” with a sight of a passion in them all the hell brake loses. Next the boy is dumped into a river and the girl buried live into a coffin.

Well the girl is saved miraculously by a drunken and the boy follows her in ghostly avatar infusing her to live and avenge the tribulation given by the baddy.

Sushant Singh is only the saving grace as he has delivered a performance which outshines the entire film and other characters.

Surveen Chawla rates well in a bikini clad [blink and miss portion] rather than on the kill bill regime, use your body babe then the skills.

No Hate Story 3 please.

CAST
Jay Bhanushali as Akshay
Surveen Chawla as Sonika

Swati Pasari brings 'The Many Colours of Life' to Mumbai

Swati Pasari brings 'The Many Colours of Life' to Mumbai

18th July 2014, MUMBAI: Renowned artist from Kolkata, Swati Pasari kick started an art exhibition of her paintings, “The Many Colours of Life” at The Point Of View Gallery, Colaba for ten days starting Friday, 18th July 2014. The exhibition was inaugurated by industry giant Dilip Piramal, Chairman VIP Industries encouraging Swati Pasari for her work in the field of art.

Through her paintings Swati has been exploring the world of spirituality and self-cognition for a number of years now. Her work has earned her accolades all over the globe and this time, she is back with a collection of paintings expressing the sheer joy of existence. Her attempt is to understand life and herself through the world of her paintings and hence this collection is aptly called “The many colours of life”.

Swati Pasari, talking about her inspiration added “I enter a different dimension altogether when I paint and I do not know what the painting will become till it’s done. When I look at the painting and see a complete form of the thought, I get an inner feeling of completeness. That's how I realize that my painting is complete. This collection’s theme is to express sheer joy of existence and the paintings project the same along with spirituality and self-cognition."

Encouraging the young artist, Mr Dilip Piramal said, “It is overwhelming to see how talented today’s young generation is. I really appreciate Swati’s efforts to have achieved so such in such a young age. I wish more and more talent should be recognised and supported in the country to help boost their confidence.”

An eclectic mix of Socialites and artists like Vishwas Nangre Patil, Raju Daswani, Jayant Patil, Mr & Mrs Ashok Narayan, Gurcharan Singh were present to cheer Swati.

About Swati Pasari

They say that you have to be lost in order to be found. Every artist strives for inner peace, and art is only a method of finding inner wholesomeness. No two stories are ever the same. Hence, it would be improper to categorize Swati as a painter or an artist into a group that is shared by many. In fact she cannot be categorized at all because her paintings are an extension of herself.

Swati Pasari’s paintings talk about immortality, timelessness, some others talk about finding inner stillness and peace. These are the life goals of this young lady who has discovered painting as one of the ways to attain her inner peace.

While her art has immense artistic maturity, she has been painting since years. And in those few years, she has already exhibited her paintings in several parts of the world with many upcoming exhibitions scheduled.
She looks at each painting as a mirror that portrays herself and all that she stands for. Being a Pranic Healer, she has a strong spiritual side to herself and most of her paintings are made with the intention of spreading positivity.

They say that you have to be lost in order to be found. Not always...is what her paintings say.
