Lakshmi is a true story of heroism and untold courage.

Lakshmi is a beautiful 13 year old girl whose life takes a tragic turn. Snatched away from the security and love of her family, Lakshmi is thrown into a life of trauma and terror, a violent nightmare for any woman. And Lakshmi is just a child.

Lakshmi is kidnapped and separated from her father and sisters, and sold to the Reddy brothers, the dangerous front men for a nexus in human trafficking. Being a child, she is separated from the other girls and taken to the elder Reddy’s house, where she is lulled into a false sense of security, and then violently raped by Reddy. Then she is sent to a brothel owned by the brothers.

At the brothel Lakshmi meets Swarna, a pragmatic, tough, spunky girl and Jyoti, the “tough love” madam who runs the brothel for the Reddy brothers. Swarna and Jyoti attuned to the realities of the brothel and having been institutionalized teach Lakshmi the ropes. As Lakshmi’s roommate, she helps her cope with the degradation of being of a prostitute. But Lakshmi is not ready to be enslaved. She refuses to make peace with the horror of her fate. But her repeated attempts at escaping only serve to remind her of the futility of her situation -  that there is no escape, and nowhere to escape to!. Dejected, she accepts her fate.

Lakshmi makes the brothel her home. The child Lakshmi fades away, lost in the hustle-bustle of the flesh market. She turns to alcohol, and the other girls for support, to endure the burden of her life.

Finally, there comes a ray of hope with Uma- a social worker who periodically brings relief to the girls in form sweets, necessities, medication, sympathy and love. She tells Lakshmi she has found her family. Her hopes rekindled, Lakshmi decides to escape again. But this time she is caught by the younger and far more ruthless Reddy brother. He beats Lakshmi senseless and shows no mercy. He puts her back to work immediately and as punishment for her transgressions “ups” the customer quota. Lakshmi’s health fails but Reddy doesn’t relent.

One such 'customer' is Mohan. As part of an NGO against women trafficking and working with Uma, Mohan organizes a sting operation to rescue the girls. All they need is a witness, just one woman who will speak against the Reddy brothers in the court - they don’t find one!

Against all odds, the terrorized, degraded and broken child-woman shows courage where everybody else fails. Resisting all pressure: violent threats, coercion and bribes, she stands up in court and in a historic landmark case, succeeds in putting the Reddy brothers as well as everyone involved in the nexus – all the way to the top – behind bars.

Lakshmi is the story of a frightening reality that haunts women from deprived backgrounds. But it is also the true story of a child whose spirit could not be broken. A hero in a land filled with cowards, whose courage and determination finally triumphs over evil.

The makers of Dhoom 3 have decided to keep no preview of the movie. To maintain integrity of the movie, the movie will not be shown to anyone.

The makers want the content to be in high security and keep the mystery around the movie. That is why only 30 sec teasers were out not the entire song or clips.

A preview or a special screening  feel will give out the curiosity of the movie.

The movie will not have any screening even for the cast and crew, which is the usual trend.

Each and everyone will only be able to watch the movie after its release.

The spokesperson of the film says, “No previews are been organised at all.”

Love will blossom once again on SAB TV’s show ‘Jeannie & Juju’ as an utterly romantic character will be introduced in the show. Popular television actor Simple Kaul is all set to make an entry in the show and woo the audience with her sweet antics. Simple will be playing the character of ‘Mooni’, who is the leader of Moonistan (Chaand).

Simple’s character Moonirepresents the imaginary residents of Moonistan (Chand), who are believed to be very artistic, romantic and beautiful people and fall in love very easily. Moonipossesses certain magical powers and also has a unique magic action like Jeannie.

Speaking about her character, Simple says, “I am very happy with the way my character Mooni will be portrayed on screen. This is my dream character as I have been craving to play a fantasy character on screen. I can relate to Mooni and the concept of Moonistan completely, as I am die hard romantic person just like my on screen avatar.”

About the show, she says, “I have always enjoyed working on comedy shows. I am returning on SAB TV after exactly one year. It has always been a delight working with this channel as I enjoy a certain comfort level and ease in working here.”

It so happens that love finds its way towards Vicky (played by Ali Asgar) everywhere he goes. Mooni will fall in love with Ali, after hearing him singing a song for Jeannie, After having a ‘Jeannie’ from Jinnland fall in love with him, Vicky now will have a new admirer in the form of ‘Moonie’ from Moonistan! Let’s see if Mooni proves to be a tough competition for Jeannie or not!

Mumbai, 11^th December, 2013:Indian Television’s most adored superhero ‘Baalveer’ is all set to face the biggest challenge in his life. The super hero, who has captured the hearts of millions of kids across India, is now gearing up to battle it out in the wrestling ring with none other than the super wrestler ‘Kurt Angle’.The two super heroes who are famous and well accepted by the audience in their specific genre’s will face-off each other in a special episode of ‘Baalveer’.

In turn of events, Dadajiaccidently drinks a power tonic and is confident to face Kurt Angle. He ends up signing an agreement for a wrestling match with the International wrestler. But, soon he realizes that the power of the tonic is for limited period and ends up being thrown out of the wrestling wring. That’s when Baalveer faces Kurt Angle for a wrestling match.

Speaking about the track,Mr. Anooj Kapoor, EVP & Business Head, SAB TV says, “Baalveer is India’s no. one kids show and hugely popular amongst the kids.  On the other hand, Kurt Angle is popular amongst kids particularly in India. I have seen his fights and I am quite fascinated with his fighting style and I am a huge fan of him. All the kids will be excited to watch this face off. I hope, I do not discourage my fans and I am eagerly waiting for the sequence to happen.”
