Bhoot Police becomes the most-watched Hindi movie this festive season!




Bhoot Police has emerged as the most-watched movie on Disney+ Hotstar as stated by the Ormax report. The horror-comedy stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. Helmed by Pavan Kirpalani, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, the film was released last week digitally on the 10th of September, and within few days of release, it's been lauded by the audience and entertainment industry. Bhoot Police has become the most-watched Hindi movie by millions of people as per the Ormax report. The film has garnered immense love from across the globe and the unique horror-comedy tale is immensely appreciated by the audience.

Bhoot Police stars Saif-Arjun as ghost hunters where Vibhooti (Saif)  is a non-believer and Chiraunji (Arjun) is a believer of Kali Urja aka Evil spirit. The duo brothers set off on a mission with Maya (Yami Gautam) and Kanika (Jacqueline Fernandez) to ward off a notorious spirit living in a small town in the mountains. The movie is filled with spooky elements, twists, and turns which will keep you hooked from the first scene!

TiE Food Network conducted one-of-a-kind Sensory workshop on all about food; Living the life of a Sommelier

Mumbai, July 24, 2021: TiE Mumbai recently conducted a unique, entertaining and educative Sensory workshop for its members on the Concepts of Sensory Evaluation and Live food Tasting. Taste is oral, while flavor is multi-sensory, this 3-hour session focused on the appreciation and recognition of food with regards to its appearance, aroma, texture, taste and sound. 

“As children, we learn the names of all sorts of shapes, colors, and sounds. But when it comes to the way things smell or taste, the only language we ever hear is qualitative — good and bad, yummy and yucky, delicious and disgusting. Once you start trying, you notice how difficult it is to assign language to taste and smell; training is a prerequisite. Our services were so far limited to food companies and restaurants; we are pleased to be extending our services to consumers and are making our debut with the TiE Mumbai community.” said Jaspal Sabharwal, Co-founder & CEO, TagTaste.

“I think the last decade has seen new age food companies concentrating on tech enablers in the food business rather than the food itself and thus we've seen some great brands giving food with above average taste. The Workshop aimed to help in rediscovering our senses and finding the connection and reasons behind why we like or dislike certain things. It also enabled participants to Learn the language of describing food. (A little more than just good, bad, tasty, yucky.) and appreciating food that we eat, hence moving towards mindful eating. It also helped augment appreciation and consciousness of our taste buds and the fact that each one has been blessed with some unique genes that helps one experience food the way we do. It also taught participants a Smarter way to eat.


The workshop also gave a peek into the 6th taste recently discovered - KOKUMI. No tastings notes were taken on the paper, instead, a structured questionnaire based on the concepts learned were accessed on the TagTaste app. Tasters answered the questionnaire on the app and the data thus collected from all the tasters instantly formed a sensogram. The workshop ended with a detailed discussion on Sensogram for the product tasted. Participants received a certificate on completion of the workshop. Most ingredients for this workshop were easily available at home making it an enjoyable activity for the entire family.

TiE Mumbai focuses on Entrepreneurship through various online engagements


Mumbai, 26 April 2021: From mentoring sessions to masterclasses, to entrepreneurship programs, guidance camps, hackathons and idea validation sessions, TiE Mumbai has planned diverse engagement workshops with its Startup members focusing on varied concerns and know hows.

Food Network Foodpreneur Series with Perizaad Zorabian- TiE Mumbai organized an interesting webinar with Perizaad Zorabian, Director, Zorabian Chicken where she spoke passionately about the business, her learnings, challenges and future ventures of the brand. In her advice to young entrepreneurs, Perizaad said “It is important to walk the talk and stay true to what you believe. Always live up to your words and be open to learning. Be brave but not reckless and always have your facts in place.” She firmly believes that consumers have evolved and are more knowledgeable and cannot be taken for granted. The businesses that evolve and deliver effectively will thrive in the long run.

Learn from the Expert: How to Scale a Family Business- As a part of TiE Mumbai’s Business Builder Evening, this exciting, informal and interactive huddle session was organized with TiE Mumbai board member Nayan Patel, Director - Packam Controls. He spoke on entrepreneurship, funding, thought leadership, his experiences and scaling his family business.

Online Entrepreneurship Education Program for School Students- TiE Mumbai in Collaboration with Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!)  announced an Online Entrepreneurship Education Program for School Students.

Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a US franchise that teaches entrepreneurship to 11–18-year-old students. This is their 6th year of operations in India and they will be doing online class with students from different cities and schools. This diversity promises to be an enriching and transformational experience for the students. The online program will have a cohort of 20 students per class. The curriculum has content such as case studies, digital marketing, communication and networking. This program transforms kids into confident and driven entrepreneurs and most importantly it teaches them to be comfortable with failures and setbacks.

How Fintech Startups can achieve regulatory & PCI DSS compliance on AWS- Security and Compliance have been one of the key considerations for the Fintech companies in payments and lending space. RBI has new guidelines on Digital Payment Security Controls and Payment Aggregators/Payment Gateways. This session, talked about how payment and lending startups organizations can use AWS to inherit security controls and use AWS services to achieve regulatory compliance and industry compliance including PCI DSS and PCI 3DS.


Idea Validation Hotline with Amit Patel - Managing Director, PitchRight Ventures- It is said that “Nothing can stop the power of an IDEA whose time has come” but it is also critical to validate if YOUR IDEA has the POWER in it, for sustainable execution & growth, before you move on and start-up! To facilitate IDEA VALIDATION, this mentoring format, had been designed for all aspiring, budding, early-stage entrepreneurs who have a business Idea/concept. 

Business Guidance Camp- This is a part of the many mentoring programs at TiE Mumbai. BGC is one on one mentoring session with a mentor - who is a senior entrepreneur/ professional to address a business challenge that an entrepreneur is facing and obtain strategic guidance and advice on the same.

Maharashtra Health Hackathon - MH²- TiE Mumbai is partnering with Government of Maharashtra in organizing the first ever Maharashtra Health Hackathon from April 23rd-25th, 2021. This event is also supported by partners like MIT Hacking Medicine, National Health Mission – Maharashtra, Action COVID-19 Team (ACT), WeSchool, BETiC IIT Bombay, Mumbai University, SNDT University and RiiDL. 

Under the hackathon participants will get to present their ideas in 4 tracks, namely: Vaccination & Immunization, Affordable Diagnostic Tools, Responsive Emergency Services and Medical Devices for Improving Neonatal Care

Necessary mentorship support will be provided throughout the event. The winning teams will get opportunities to develop proof of concept and pre-incubation support to nurture their ideas. Häfele India’s long-standing endeavour to uplift women






 Mumbai - 7 March 2021 - Häfele India’s long-standing endeavour to uplift women in different strata of the society and bring gender equality sees light via the IWD (International Women’s Day) football tournament organized predominantly for the underprivileged 


To encourage women empowerment through sports, Häfele India, together with IWFA (Indian Women’s Football Alliance), sponsored a one-day long football tournament entirely organized by and for women. The tournament held on 6th March at St. Joseph Ground, Mumbai, saw a fierce competition among ten teams comprising of girls aged between 16 and 32 from underprivileged backgrounds brought together by different NGOs. Each team played for a specific cause such as ‘Education sets me free’, ‘Dowry kills dignity’, ‘A blessing called Beti’ and so on and had a renowned face as their team mentor along with support-mentors to uplift their spirits during the day. The team mentors included Kunal Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Nandita Shah, Adhuna Bhabani, Bhairavi Jaikishan, Ankit Tanna, Richa Bahl, Nitasha Gaurav, Chef Sarita Pareira, and Nishrin Parikh. Kunal Kapoor, supporting the ‘Slum Soccer’ team said, “Through this team, we are supporting the 'Silence Fuels Violence' cause and truly hope that this initiative brings awareness on speaking up for any wrongdoing against women in the society.” Rahul Bose, cheering for Akshara Superstars, said, “I am so happy to hear that the Indian Women’s Football Alliance (IWFA) kicked-off their first competition called ‘Girls Love Goals’ - what a fantastic name! The ten girls’ teams pitted against one another each playing for a specific cause is a brilliant way to spread awareness.”
 
As a homage to Women’s Day, the tournament was created entirely for women by women sporting female coaches, referees, lineswomen, nutritionists, as well as therapists. The IWFA Girls Love Goals Cup is a tribute to sportswomen across India, who have used their grit, determination, blood and sweat to get where they have reached today. It is also a shoutout to girls across the country to stand by their goals in the face of gender, race, colour, or any such discrimination. The winning team gets a cash prize, proceeds of which are given to select NGOs that use football as a medium of social change for women across India. “I think we're just at the tip of the iceberg and we really need to create a mountain of hope, a mountain of success and victory for these girls so that the future is bright for our kids for their kids, especially women who are always side-lined with sport that are predominantly male centric. The most important thing is to break stereotypes that only certain kind of women can play sports or that women don't like to play sports or that people don’t like watching women play sports. The mindset needs to change, once that happens, the rest will follow,” concluded Tusshar Kapoor, summing up the spirit of the initiative. 
Häfele believes that all individuals are responsible for their own thoughts and actions, all day every day, irrelevant to the gender. Sanjay Swami, Head of Marketing, Hafele India Pvt. Schwing Stetter India inaugurates 52-acre IoT enabled, energy efficient Global Manufacturing Facility in Cheyyar, Tamil Nadu



 

Chennai, February 13, 2021: Schwing Stetter India, one of the largest manufacturers of concreting and construction equipment’s across the country, today inaugurated its 5th manufacturing facility in Cheyyar, Tamil Nadu. The state-of-the-art integrated facility of 52 acres comprising 50,000 square metres of built up area will now become a Global Manufacturing hub for Schwing’s concrete boom pumps, stationary pumps, self-loading mixers, shotcrete pumps, excavators, wheel loaders and motor graders. Schwing Stetter signed an agreement with the Tamil Nadu Government through the Global Investors Meet in 2019 and has already invested 300 crores in this facility. The company will continue to invest in this facility in the next couple of years.

Schwing Stetter, the market leader in concreting equipment industry, currently has four factories located in Sriperumbadur, Tamil Nadu. The new facility, built to be sustainable with a natural green cover, focuses on ensuring digitalization of all equipment’s and production process with an extensive usage of telematics, IoT and robotic machine learning. Global Manufacturing Hub will employ woman workforce in the shop floor as part of initiative towards equality and empowerment of women. This facility is created with all the amenities required by the women workforce.

This new facility is the beginning of our journey towards industry 4.0. The smart facility has taken all initiatives to be a sustainable manufacturing unit. The newly inaugurated facility will export to International markets across Africa to ASEAN and cater to the internal needs of Schwing’s subsidiaries across the Globe. Having entered the export market of Bauma, Munich and Eastern Europe, from this global manufacturing hub, we expect to enter Brazil, USA and GCC market.

 

The Global Manufacturing Hub also has space for creating future expansion and hydraulic excavator factory will be ready in the next three months to add a capacity of 7500 units per year. Presently, in this factory, Schwing has increased production capacities, for example, pump by 50%, truck mounted boom pump by four times, Self-loading Mixers by five times and truck mixers and Batching Plant capacity to go up by two times.
