After the success of  Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villian, with Haider not only Vishal Bhardwaj has completed it’s hatrick but so has Shraddha. It’s been 2 weeks since film has released and the audience is still applauding the actor's work.
 
In an interview Shraddha herself said that Haider is Shahid’s film , but yet audience loved Arshia a lot in the film, that left Shraddha surprised.
 
On this Shraddha says, "From the time Vishal sir offered me the role of Arshia I was in love with the character and really worked hard for it, I am happy people loved Arshia. I am very glad that 2014 is going to get over with the success of Haider. I feel more than being lucky its about hard work".

Aamir Khan and his Bhojpuri teacher, inseparable for two years.

Aamir Khan is known to get into the skin of his character. This time around too he has been doing something very different for his upcoming film P.K.

The actor went through an extended training to learn Bhojpuri for the film.

The language in the film plays a key role. Aamir came up with the idea of having Bhojpuri as it will add a quirky and humorous touch to the character and at the same time people would be able to understand most of it.

The ace actor had been specially preparing for learning Bhojpuri since two years under the Bhojpuri TV writer, Shanti Bhushan who taught the actor the nuances of the language. They specially worked on the language and diction to perfect it.

They would try and practice in between shoots and schedules of the film because the language is very tricky to learn and requires certain diction.

Aamir too has put in a lot of effort to perfect the language, and has created a lot of buzz by trying something different with this film.

When contacted, Shanti Bhushan said, “ Rajuji ( Hirani, director) called me at Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s office and informed me about it. They gave me the dialogues of Pk and asked me to convert it to the Bhojpuri- Hindi language, which audience can understand. Apart from teaching Bhojpuri, 

I gave the required diction training to Aamir at his house for two months where he used to write the altered dialogues according to his convenience.

Since Aamir felt he would need me in case he got stuck while shooting he asked me to also accompany him during shoots. Aamir is so dedicated that he used to learn and rehearse his lines during the break or even while getting ready. 

I remember last year once when he had to attend an event in Pune where he was meeting the Dalai Lama, he asked me to join him during that journey so that he could spend his travel time to learn the language better. Aamir loves the language and ‘ Tukur tukur’ that he says in the trailer is his favourite Bhojpuri word.”

P.K will be the second project that will bring together Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan.

Bangistan wraps up shoot

Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Deshmukh’s Excel Entertainment’s Bangistan wrapped up shoot this week.

The Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pulkit Samrat starrer was extensively shot in Poland.

The film is a satire about two guys, one a Hindu and the other a Muslim who are aiming to be suicide bombers.

Bangistan is scheduled to release in mid 2015.

Shraddha Kapoor, who is basking in immense love & appreciation for her performance in Haider, will be performing at the Kashmir Relief Fund.

Shraddha Kapoor, who made her singing debut with Galliyan in Ek Villain, will be singing the songs from her films at the event.

Her singing has been appreciated by one and all. Shraddha who comes from a musical family also sung a kashmiri folk song, Do Jahaan in her recent release Haider.

The actress who is currently busy shooting for ABCD 2 , removed time specially from her shoot schedule for the fund raiser.

The Kashmir Relief Fund is an event to raise money for the flood stricken people of Kashmir.

Shradhha has a very special connect with Kashmir as she extensively shot for Haider in Kashmir recently.

When the actress was approached to perform at the event, she immediately agreed for it without giving it second thoughts. Kashmir is very close to Shraddha’s heart and she wanted to do her own little bit to help the victims in Kashmir.

Explicit, outrageously funny and erotic in humor but the big scissor of Indian censor has gone kaput in swallowing the steamy portion and leaving only imagination for us of just getting the sneak peak.

As a reviewer I cannot write a full length view of the actual portion which has been cut and films ingenious plot [sex tape] which I did not have the access to.
This is the portion of the story which will be the price of your ticket and rest you can see it on your home theater [if you are lucky to get an uncut version].

Jay [Jason Segel] and Annie [Cameron Diaz] live their libido with full excitement and have sex anytime anywhere, one night Jay struggle to get an erection but in vain, Annie proposes of having sex in almost all position and makes it into a sex tape to thrive more excitement into their fading passion. All hell break lose when accidentally the video is synchronized in a group of people including one who is a king pin of You Porn. The couple goes berserk of erasing the video from the iPods which are in their know-how, also they have to deal with a neighbor's son who threatens to upload their sex tape if he is not paid a bribe of $25,000. As almost they succeed of erasing the sex video from all their neighborhood system the last being the YouPorn headquarters which they have to deal with.

Cameron Diaz is bold and sexy and does the role with grace and simplicity, Jason Segel significantly depicts the restlessness of a over obsessed sex starved hubby. The film would have been a worth watch if the ‘SEX TAPE’ was uncut.

Welcome Back – the first Bollywood film to have shot at the Emirates Palace.

Firoz A Nadiadwala’s Welcome Back which is scheduled to release in January recently shot at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

While several have approached the royal family to shoot at the location,Welcome Back is the first Bollywood film to get the permission to shoot in the palace,not to mention, the second film in the world after Fast and Furious 7 to have shot at the Emirates Palace.

Sources confirm that the dome area of the palace owned by the Abu Dhabi royal family will be shown as Naseeruddin Shah’s living room in the film.

Confirming the news said producer Firoz A Nadiadwala , “After Fast and Furious 7, Welcome Back is the first film to have been shot at the splendid Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.”

Minissha Lamba

Bollywood actress and now a Big Boss contestant in season 8, Minissha Lamba is one contestant who has always played the game in a much dignified manner.

Minissha who was very subtle in the earlier episodes on the show is very vocal and opinionated when she needs to be. Minissha immediately accepted the challenge stating that she doesn't put her nose in household chores which are already divided to others in the house and this might have been taken wrongly by Gautam. She has switched places with him and now will be one of the three contestants who will not enjoy any luxury in the house. Big Boss ke ghar main kuch bhi ho sakta hai!

Minissha has held her cards close to chest and is playing very skilfully. Her simplicity and her capability to handle things in a mature manner have made her viewer’s favorite in no time.

Minissha is so far so good in the game and looks to be very promising girl in the Big Boss house,  winner or not a winner only time will tell but a smart and simple player for sure. Minissha is certainly not Good girl gone bad but good girl gone better!

Atyachaar...Bigg Boss Style!

After purchasing some luxury items to sustain themselves in the house for another week, Bigg Boss introduces the 'Atyachaar Task' in an attempt to bowl a googly at the contestants. The Atyachaar task is an opportunity for the current servants of the Bigg Boss House, i.e. Pritam, Gautam and Puneet to nominate another contestant to take their place as a new servant.

Now, Pritam, Puneet and Gautam have the task of convincing captain Ali Quli Mirza about why they should be replaced and also nominate someone who will take their place as the new 'daas' for the season. The rest of the contestants are horrified upon learning this because any of them could be easy targets for the current servants. After careful deliberation while taking into consideration their personal vendettas, the three servants finally announced the names of those contestants that they have selected to take their place. But, as always, Bigg Boss changes the game by giving Ali the power to approve or reject the names suggested to him. 

Trying to be fair, Ali asks the contestants about their views on the contestants who have been selected. Further, the selected the contestants are also given a chance to present a case and justify why they must not be selected as the new servants. While most are glad about dodging the bullet, Aarya voices his opinion that Soni, who has been nominated by Pritam, should not be made a servant owing to her ill-health. In fact, Aarya goes on to say that he would not mind taking her place as the servant since he has enjoyed many a luxury in the past 4 weeks! 

Will Ali take up Aarya on his offer and make him a new servant or will Soni be the new servant despite being unwell? Who will be the other two contestants to be also be nominated as the new servants?

Ranbir Kapoor impresses music Director Pritam with his commitment to work.

"Ranbir and I share a long association and now, I am composing for his home production, Jagga Jasoos. He came to me a few weeks ago asking me to compose a theme anthem for his football club Mumbai FC. I initially assumed it was a song and I composed it as such with Amitabh Bhattacharya composing the lyrics. When he dropped in at my recording studio last Saturday to hear it, he told me he didn't want a song," Shared Pritam, with no remorse about the song Ranbir scrapped. Explaining why no remorse, Pritam stated, “He told me he would use it in one of his films. He then sat with Amitabh and me for two hours and stated what he exactly wanted - an anthem which the crowds can chant without music and clap to as one. He was very clear that it shouldn't sound like a song and wanted it to be without music. It was really simple to compose this song. The best part of the experience was, that by the end of it, I understood that there's a director in Ranbir and that he'd soon become one. The way he took charge of the whole thing and recorded the anthem was fantastic - just a day before his club played the match in Kolkata. Ranbir knows what he wants exactly and guided us accordingly.” The fuzzy-haired music director  who recently returned from his much needed vacation claimed he was totally impressed to his how musically inclined his good friend and associate was…

Old master's poem coming back

“Faiz has been a very big part of my growing up, and everything that I have learnt from listening to him has made me who I am. I have dedicated this film to Faiz and so it was completely required that I have something of his work in the film. I have taken two of his best ‘Chand roz aur meri jaan…’ and ‘Bekaar Kutte’ and juxtaposed violence with making love in the film,” informed Agnihotri.

Not only has the filmmaker brought alive Faiz for young india, he has gone about making an attempt to meet his relatives and get the rights legally, “Ours was a small budget film, but I needed to go through this whole process the correct way, though people tell me that I could have just used it and not bothered with going about the permissions, but as I said, I needed them connected to the film, like Faiz connects me to myself!”

Aditya overwhelmed with response of Daawat-e-Ishq

IshqAfter Aashiqui 2, Aditya Roy Kapur has delivered a superb performance in YRF’s Daawat-e-Ishq. And the actor is overwhelmed by the response he has received to this film.

Aditya brilliantly portrayed the role of a Lucknowi chef in the film. He completely got into the skin of his character.

Kriti Sanon learns Karate for Singh is Bling

Kriti Sanon who made her big debut with Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti, will soon be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in Singh is Bling.

Kriti has already started prepping for the film.

The actress who was earlier learning salsa for the film, is now taking karate lessons for same. Kriti's role requires her to perform a lot of action scenes, for which she is training under karate expert Mehul Vora.

We have always seen Akshay Kumar do a lot of action for his films, but this time around we will get to see his heroine execute some intense action scenes.

Kriti Sanon is training hard and is very excited for the film.

Director Michael Dowse take on transition of friendship to love in ‘What If’ [earlier titled ‘The F Word’]. What if your close friend is nurturing a passionate liking towards you? Michael Dowse gives us the cinematic vision of this beautiful evolution with great care and emotional excitement for 101 minutes.

Wallace [Daniel Radcliffe] is not so happy about his career, living with his sister and nephew in Toronto, Ontario.Being cheated by his girlfriend he decides to not be very social for a year.He is intimidate by Allan [Adam Driver] for a party where he encounter Chantry [Zoe Kazan] Allan's cousin and the two get along for a lengthy conversation and move out for a long walk and unwillingly she shares her number. Chantry has a boyfriend [Rafe Spall] but she shows desire of having a friendship with him and Wallace instantly agrees. The smooth sailing of just being a friend begins with countless meeting and even going on nude date to a island when Chantry’s boyfriend is out on work tour in Dublin.The friendship evolve's in love with some melodrama and excitement of a typical bollywood flick.

Daniel Radcliffe fits the bill of a rom-com hero and gives ample melodramatic moments of lover boy. Zoe Kazan as Chantry is delightful as a next door girl look and also sets the screen on fire with her seductive moves [when she goes through a moments of loneliness].

The film is a fitting answer to the audience who is baffled about their emotions and gives the wrong impression about their feelings to their near ones in the name of just being friends.
