MANJHA Review ***



The film has a take on parenting and it proves that there are risks involved in parenting where both you and your children are vulnerable to get hurt. Being too lenient and too strict is not going to work out same like kite thread, manjha,  and balance has to be maintained in upbringing of children. From the first frame the film creates interest and sustains it for most part of the film. The best part about the film is the thrill and the story keeps us thinking what the characters are upto.
Showing the picturesque location of Lonavala and its surroundings, the film tells the story of urban characters. Mostly the film focuses on three characters Samidha (Ashwini Bhave), her son Jaideep (Rohit Phalke) and his school friend Vikram aka Vicky (Sumedh Mudgalkar. When the film starts, Jaideep is sorta shy characters who talks less and is more of a timid guy. Samidha is a caring mother who oversees his life because Jaideep has gone through a troubled past along with her that is why they have come to settle in Lonavala. But things change soon when extrovert  Vikram befriends Jaideep and soon Jaideep starts getting active. Jaideep's transformation not only happens in terms of his talking and being happy but Vikram corrupts his mind and Jaideep is on verge of becoming a bad guy that is forced on him by Vikram.  But the events take sharp turn and Samidha has to support her son Jaideep to get him back on right track. The battle of good and bad continues till the end.
There is only one song in the film nearing the climax that takes the story forward. Cinematography and apt acting are the strengths of the movie. Ashwini Bhave has portrayed her character beautifully while as the Rohit and Sumedh also have done justice. There are few awkward moments in the film though in terms of dialogue where Vikram gives description of killing an animal and raping a girl. The film increases our expectations from start to end but the culmination is shown too quick that may prove to be a letdown. Overall the movie is well made and is sure to be a hit on account of its promotion and word of mouth.

Director, Sandeep Mohan & Tiranga Productions to Release “Shreelancer” in India

 




~Based on the story of a freelancer, the feature film is all set to release on 18th August 2017~

Director Sandeep Mohan’s next release, “Shreelancer” is a feature film starring Arjun Radhakrishnan (an actor known for his film “A White Feather”) in the lead along with a veteran theater artist Salmin Sheriff and Monica Mahendru. The film is produced by Giju John – Tiranga Productions Pvt. Ltd. and Sandeep Mohan and slated to hit the screens on 18th August 2017.

The film is looking to be one of the best adaptation of the people who are self-employed.

Media agencies to battle it out at the 4th ‘BBC World News Football Connect’ tournament

                                                        

Mumbai, July 17th 2017: Some of India’s top media agencies will be taking to the field next week for the 4th ‘BBC World News Football Connect’, a five-a-side football tournament hosted by BBC World News. Launched in 2014, this annual competition aims to bring together media agencies for a game of football and a chance to claim the event’s top title. 
Taking place at Cooperage Ground astro turf field in Mumbai on Friday, 21st July, BBC World News Football Connect 2017 will highlight the international news channel’s significant sports offer both on TV and online at BBC.com.
More than 250 associates from the media industry are estimated to attend the event, representing the top media agencies, including CEOs and senior planners.  And this year there is a particular focus on getting more women involved with the introduction of a ‘Golden Goal’ penalty shoot-out. Every team has to nominate two women, one would take the penalty and the other would be a goalkeeper, encouraging female participants to play significant roles in teams. At the start of each match the nominated women would get three penalty shots and the goals scored would be added to the final score if the game ends in a tie. This is just one of the many highlights of the day which is now a ‘must-attend’ event for many in the industry, as it blends networking with high quality sporting spirit.
The tournament will begin with league matches and conclude with a final match and awards ceremony. But while the teams take on each other on the field, there will also be plenty of action on the sidelines. There will be a VIP fan zone where fans can cheer the teams, participate in a foosball competition or test their teamwork skills, working collaboratively to build the tallest tower possible using 4ft jenga-style blocks, plus a host of other activities where they can challenge the hosts and score merchandise.
The event has gained a lot of attention in the past few weeks with its recently concluded media agency drive in Mumbai where the BBC World News Football Connect team built a football environment in offices and encouraged media agency personnel to challenge their colleagues over a penalty shoot-out competition. This has also encouraged wider teams in these media agencies to join the event to cheer for their favorite squads.

SAMCO Securities launches new TVCs

Highlights flat Rs. 20 brokerage is truth and there is no hidden cost
Mumbai, July 10, 2017: SAMCO Securities Limited, one of the leading discount brokerages in the country, has launched new entertaining campaign that attempts to make people believe that Rs. 20 brokerage is truth and there is no hidden cost.
The company has launched two TVCs themed around #TheHardestBet – highlighting the financial burden one gets by paying higher brokerage based on size of trade and how humiliating it can be to find out that you have been paying excess brokerage since forever, whereas by trading via SAMCO one can save a lot of money with its Flat Fee brokerage irrespective of trade volume.
The protagonist in the 5,000 Mirchi Challenge TVC is an everyday man who refused to believe on the concept Flat Fee Brokerage. The film starts by showing him eating red chilies. Because he lost the challenge from a friend who advised him to switch to SAMCO’s Flat Fee Brokerage and save huge amount of transaction cost. The man ultimately losses the challenge when he pays Rs 5,000 as brokerage on the same transaction where his friend paid only Rs. 20 as brokerage.
Similarly in the Captain Fool Cricket TVC, the character is the captain of the cricket team. He enters the field wearing his shorts. Everybody in the stadium is stunned and start laughing at him. Later it is revealed that he has lost the challenge where he couldn’t believe that his team paid only Rs 20 as brokerage for an order for which he ended up paying Rs. 5000.
“Storytelling is been at the forefront of our marketing efforts. Our TVCs inform audiences in an innovative storytelling format about the benefits of trading at flat Rs. 20 and attempts to capture the eyeball of every investor and trader in the stock market,” said SAMCO Securities CEO Mr. Jimeet Modi.
“The communication of the campaign clearly is to educate market participants of the message ‘Ab share market mein brokerage, 20 se jyaada mat dena’ and the creative team has done a great job in ensuring that the message is delivered, breaking through the clutter,” he added.
TVCs have been produced and directed by Mr Parikshit Vaidya of Gulliver Films, while creative part was conceived in-house by SAMCO.
"I was very excited about this campaign as it is way away from the regular TVCs. The script has successfully linked the unawareness of the common people about the fast changing environment of broking industry,” says Parikshit Vaidya of Gulliver Films.
Both the TVCs, simultaneously launched on the company’s social media platforms, has already garnered over 1,00,000 views each on Facebook.
“Due to recent changes in the code of conduct of advertising we had to recreate our brand strategy overnight, reposition our brand and redo the entire marketing piece all over again. With so many advertisers from the Stock broking industry, we had to think of a campaign which helps SAMCO stand out, without using boring advertisement which typically makes BFSI sector look old and intimidating. Educate and Entertain was the clear objective of our TVC,” says Mr. Chirag Joshi, Head of Marketing at SAMCO Securities.  
The Mumbai-based discount brokerage has also launched two more videos -- The Chaiwala Boss and  The Local Train  -- on the similar theme that have been running on digital platform not on TVs.
