Huma Qureshi flooded with invites from colleges

Huma has given standing instructions to her team to make time for her to attend 2-3 events in a month.
The actress very well read and known for her smart headed approach.
The actress has been a great influence during her theater days and in her time
in the B'town has become a role mode for the youngsters.
Huma is known to be a good orator so much so that she has been getting a lot of requests from various sectors and post grad colleges & institutes to come and speak to the students.
Every month the actress makes it a point to make time in her schedule to attend as many such meets as possible.
Last month she has gone back to her theatre to give the young artist orientation on their programme Thespo and shares the story of her days there. She had at a summit also spoken about her stand on being comfortable in your own skin.
This month the actress had requests flooding in from everywhere.  She had reputed colleges like Mithibai, KC College, R.D Poddar and Sydnem College sending in invites to come and converse with the students on varied topics.
But it does not end here, the actress has invites pouring in from a lot of panel discussion to talk on topics like state of women in India, B'Town leading Ladies with strong roles, Globalisation and women's empowerment. 
Despite her busy schedule, Huma has asked her team to adjust and make time for her to attend the seminars. 
Huma Qureshi shares, "Interactive sessions at such forums are always insightful. So, I try to attend as many as I can."

Ø Akshay Kumar lands in Mauritius and everything changes. The three old men find all chances slipping away from their hands as Ahana shifts her attention to the Bollywood megastar.
Ø In the gorgeous land of Mauritius, speckled amidst lush beaches and prime landscapes, the show of one-upmanship begins.

First week Box Office collections of Daawat-e-Ishq

Yash Raj Films’ Daawat-e-Ishq garnered not only immense appreciation but also did good business in its first week. The first week’s total collection was Rs 20.43 crores.

The buzz around the Aditya Roy Kapoor – Parineeti Chopra starrer led to a steady growth in the film’s collection.

The film with multiple other releases opened at Rs 3.72 crore on Friday, collections on Saturday showed an upward growth with Rs 4.35 crore and there was a jump on Sunday with the film earning Rs 5.53 crore.

Monday’s collections were 2.03 crore, Tuesday was 1.84 crore, Wednesday was 1.66 crore and Thursday was 1.30 crore.

Daawat-e-Ishq will benefit from the positive word of mouth the film has garnered, along with the fresh pairing of Aditya and Parineeti.

With a commitment of making India healthier and cleaner by 2019, RB has made a commitment to invest a sum of INR 100 crores towards this initiative across the next 5 years. The program aims to spread awareness around the importance of hygiene and sanitations to millions across the country and has introduced Indian film actor and legend, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan as the program ambassador for this mega campaign.

With a history of over 150 years of innovation and the DNA engraved in health and hygiene, RB has powerbrands such as Dettol and Harpic, which are considered as gold standard in hygiene and sanitation segments. Through the partnership, RB aims to combine the on-ground expertise and vast presence of NDTV network with the massive reach of Facebook through online and mobile to address one of the most critical challenges faced by our country. NGO partners such as CAF will bring on-board their implementation expertise to execute the programs and will be supported by the Sulabh International & WaterAid as knowledge partners.
To kick off the program, a “Dettol - Banega Swachh India” bus will be flagged off in October, which will cover around 400 villages across 8 states - Haryana, Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, MP & Maharashtra. The objective of the bus will be to create awareness around hygiene and sanitation through interactive videos, flyer distributions, posters, hand-washing sessions and street plays. The partners in the initiative will continue with an ongoing dialogue for the next year to explore more opportunities for making a difference towards this initiative.

इस अभियान के लिए प्रियंका ने यून के क्लाइमेट चेंज समिट के लिए एक वीडियो शूट किया है जिसमे अल गोर ,बेंडिंग लरविन , ईडी नोर्टन, माइकल ब्लूमबर्ग,और लेन सोमेरहाल्डर यह सब लोग साथ नजर आएंगे। यह सब लोग पुरे विश्व से और भारत से है। यूनाइटेड नेशन असिस्टेंट सेक्रेरटरी जनरल रोबर्ट ओर्र इनके ऑफिस से विशेष तौर पर प्रियंका चोपड़ा को निमंत्रण मिला था। 

प्रियंका चोपड़ा कहती है " यह कोई छोटी बात नहीं है की जिसे दख़लंदाज किया जाये , क्लाइमेट चेंज असल में हो रहा है ,और बतौर इस विश्व के नागरिक होने के नाते हमरा फर्ज है की हम कुछ बदलाव करे। यह काफी उत्साह बढ़ाने वाला है की यह कम्पैन टाइम स्क्वेर पर होरहा है और मुझे आशा है यह पुरे विश्व तक अपना सन्देश पहुचायेगा।  मैं  विश्व के  नेताओं के साथ शामिल होने का गर्व है और जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए और परिवर्तन बनाने के लिए इस प्रयास में वैश्विक हस्तियों साथ बहुत अच्छा रहा। मैं परिवर्तन की इस प्रक्रिया में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करने पर काफी गर्व है महसूस हो रहा है।  "

Priyanka Chopra at TimesSquare !

Actress and international recording artist ,Priyanka Chopra, who is one of the most celebrated Indian personalities on the global front ,was recently celebrated at TimesSquare, as she featured on a billboard for the cause of Climate Change along with some of the most popular personalities in the world.

Just a day after the People’s Climate March, one of the largest international environmental marches, a new analysis of 56 studies on climate change-related health problems shows that increasingly, global temperatures and severe weather events will continue to have a major impact on global health.Priyanka along with other celebrities feature as part of the campaign that currently stands proudly at Times Square- – iconified as "The Crossroads of the World"

She has also shot for a video for the UN climate change summit initiative with other big names like Al Gore, Alison Sudol, Binding Irwin, Ed Norton, Michael Bloomberg, Ian Somerhalder. People from around the world have participated in this...and from India the United Nations Assistant Secretary General Robert Orr's office had sent an invite to PC to participate.
Priyanka says, "It's not something that can be ignored any longer... Climate change is happening and it is our duty as a citizen of the world to sit up and make the necessary changes required. Its exciting to have the campaign run at timessquare which is quite literally the crossroads of the world and i hope it has a far reach.
