Frantic attempts by the costume team and the direction team yielded no results!Sunny's lingerie had gone missing from the sets.Owing to a continuity issue, the makers had to instantly re-order the same piece and paid a premium for early shipping to avoid a delay in the commencement of shoot.From then on, the security on the sets was beefed up to prevent such unusual thefts.The lingerie was needless to say of a high end luxury brand and dis cost the production a hole in their pocket

It is usually the actresses that take hours to get ready for shoot. But this time around, it is the two boys, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor that took hours to get ready for their shots in Gunday.

For their upcoming film, Gunday, which is a total masala film set in Calcutta, both the boys needed to get on a tanning makeup before the shot.

These shots were bare body shots so not just their face.. But also their body had to have the tan in order to match the skin tone of people in Calcutta and make it more realistic.

It took the boys 3 hours to put the tan make up and 2 hours to get it off each time.

The boys really understood why the actresses take so much time now and they surely empathize with them after this experience.

The film is slated to release on 14th Feb 2014.

Arjun Kapoor says, "I had it more difficult than Ranveer Singh as he had to go only two shades darker for me it was almost four shades."

However, the meeting never happened then.
It was finally in 2011 that Saqib got a call from Mr.Gupte’s new manager offering him a role in the director’s next, titled Hawaa Hawai. Soon after that call Saqib auditioned for the role of a skating coach and was selected. A dream came true for Saqib who not only just met the celebrated film maker but also got the opportunity to work with him.

The Aamir Khan starrer, Dhoom 3, not only had a massive opening at the box office, but also managed to break all records in Indian cinema.

Aamir Khan put in a lot of efforts in playing two diverse characters in the film which were appreciated by the audiences.

The actor is known to do one film at a time usually. However, this time around the actor was extremely occupied with back to back schedules.

From wrapping the shoot of Dhoom 3, to completing a schedule of P.K., to getting into promotions of the film and season 2 of Satyameva Jayate and finally celebrating the massive success of Dhoom 3 recently at a party held at YRF, the actor was engaged all through.

Biggest weekend gross for a non-festive Salman release

Mumbai, 27th January, 2014: Eros International Media Limited (Eros International), a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, has announced a strong opening weekend for Jai Ho at the box office with an impressive Rs. 101.26 crore gross worldwide, despite a non holiday weekend. Produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, the Salman Khan starrer released across approximately 5000 screens worldwide on January 24th, 2014.  

Salman mania once again drove audiences to the ticket counters during the opening weekend and amassed a significant Rs. 78.90 crores gross (Rs. 60.68 crore nett) in India and 22.36 crore (US$ 3.55 million) overseas.  At the domestic box office, the film opened Rs. 17.75 crore on Friday followed by Rs. 16.68 crore on Saturday. With fantastic word of mouth, the film’s collections showed a massive jump of 64% on Sunday garnering an attractive Rs. 26.25 crore at the domestic BO office.

Speaking on the film opening, Nandu Ahuja, Sr. VP, India Theatrical, Eros International Media Limited said, “Salman fans have given a huge thumbs up to Jai Ho. The film is packed with Salman style action along with the emotion and message of the human chain of goodness and it has touched the right chord with his fans. The match between Manoj Tiwari's Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Ritesh Deshmukh's Veer Marathi was nothing less then a battle field for the two teams. 

"Whenever I come to play the match, my target is to get Ritesh out because he is a very dangerous cricketer. I know him since the time he used to play for Mumbai Heroes. Last time when we were playing in Ranchi I leg stumped him and this time I off stumped him." says Manoj Tiwari after winning the match with Veer Marathi

BURBANK, CA – January 24, 2014 – Academy Award^® nominee Hugh Jackman (“Les Misérables”) has been set to star in Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming live-action Peter Pan feature for director Joe Wright (“Atonement,” “Pride & Prejudice”).  The announcement was made today by Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, and Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

            Jackman will portray the villainous Blackbeard in an all-new tale about author J.M. Barrie’s beloved character Peter Pan, the boy who would never grow up.

            Silverman stated, “Hugh Jackman always delivers indelible performances that resonate with audiences.  We know he will create a Blackbeard who will be a powerful presence in this original Peter Pan adventure.”

            Kroll added, “There is a reason that Hugh is known and loved the world over.  He is uncompromising in his dedication to every role, and we are all thrilled to be working with him again.”

Best known to audiences worldwide for his portrayal of the Wolverine, Jackman most recently wrapped production on “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” reprising his role as the conflicted Super Hero for the sixth time in that popular film franchise.  In addition to an Oscar^® nomination, he won a Golden Globe Award and earned a BAFTA Award nomination for his gripping performance as Jean Valjean in 2012’s “Les Misérables.”  This past fall, Jackman led an all-star cast in the acclaimed dramatic thriller “Prisoners.”  Also an accomplished stage actor, he received a 2004 Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway musical “The Boy From Oz.”

            Wright will direct the as-yet-untitled Peter Pan adventure from a screenplay by Jason Fuchs.  Greg Berlanti and Paul Webster are serving as producers.

Mumbai 26^th January: On the occasion of our republic day, Laxmi Dhaul, Sidharth Bhatia and Shruti Seth discussed the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi and his relevance in today’s world at India Non-Fiction Festival (INFF). The audience was rightly fascinated and inspired. The event also marked the launch of ‘Magic Mantras’ by Laxmi Dhaul, a book that in the words of Shruti Seth is a guiding light for young adults in particular and everyone else in general, towards a peaceful tomorrow.

‘Acting Smart your Ticket to Showbiz’ by Tisca Chopra, which talks about the world of Cinema was launched by Imtiaz Ali. The session was peppered with wit, humour and many interesting anecdotes. 

Flavours, food and their cultural as well as emotional references were discussed in great taste by the renowned chef Vicky Ratnani, Kunal Vijayakar and Farzana Contractor. While Dr. Rajat Chauhan along with Charles Assisi motivated the audience to look for deeper meaning in life and a happiness that comes from within.   

The session ‘Non Fiction hitting hard’ was exciting and controversial to say the least.
