The iQOO 3 is powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor boasting of 5G capabilities. Clean India Technology Week 2020 off to a stupendous start





Hundreds of high-level visitors queued up bright and early on Thursday morning at the registration counters for the Clean India Technology Week 2020. The event was inagurated by Dinesh D Jagdale, Joint Secretary Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), and Alok Kumar Tiwari, Principal Executive Director, EnHM, Railway Ministry, Government of India, among other dignitaries.

Stalls at its four expos – the Clean India Show, Laundrex India Expo, Waste Technology Expo India and Car Care Expo, were manned by industry leaders from 16 countries, and visited by decision-makers from India as well as 25 other nations. The latest equipment and solutions in the cleaning sector were unveiled and explored, and several future deals were initiated.

The Waste Technology conference was themed 'Strategising Waste C2C in Industries and Smart Cities'. Various practical ideas to convert waste to energy or compost were discussed, while the machines that can enable this were on display atthe Expo. The over 100 delegates who were present agreed that they had never attended a conference about waste that was so productive.

The halls of the Bombay Exhibition Center resounded with speeches and lively panel discussions of the Digital Facility Management (DigiFM) conference, which included star speakers like Dr Shakti Chauhan, Head: Administration and Facilities, HDFC Bank, and Charu Thapar, Regional Director, Property & Asset Management (Asia-Pacific), JLL.

On the sidelines of the conferences, two special sessions for the i-Professional Housekeepers' Association and the Hospitality Purchase Managers Forum were convened. A closed door session for select service providers also informed them about the needs and requirements of the Indian Railways, and how they can partner with it.

On Friday, the Expos are expected to attract even larger crowds, while the day-long Conference on Hospital Infection Control will be thronged by microbiologists, hospital administrators and housekeepers, critical care specialists and other stakeholders. A special session on Car Care is also scheduled for Day 2 of this three-day landmark event.

CTW 2020: A hub for innovation for the cleaning and hygiene industry



Clean India Technology Week (CTW) will roll out its carpets on the 13th of February 2020 for its three-day conference that will bring together innovators of the cleaning and hygiene industry. Organised by Virtual Info Systems Pvt. Ltd, CTW will be held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from 13-15 February 2020.

Conferences

On February 13.  CTW will open its doors for conferences, the first being on Waste Management and Waste to Energy for Smart Cities. Dinesh Dayanand Jagdale, Joint Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy will commence the session. 
The afternoon session DigiFM will demonstrate the advantages of effective Innovation & Integrated Digital Delivery Management, Impact of IoT, Digital Disruptors, and Integrated Development Projects, besides prominent topics and trends in DigiFM. It will provide the ultimate business exposure for the industry. Operational excellence, continuous innovation and financial performance are some of the key aspects for discussion in this conference.

On February 14.  the third Conference on Hospital Infection Control (CHIC) will be held. It was started to address the need of hospitals in India, especially Government hospitals. It has already received the support of leading experts in the healthcare industry and will be attended by microbiologists, medical directors, deans, owners, consultants, government health officers and others. 
February 15. the final day of CTW will be dedicated to discussions on Laundry and liner care. Celebrity couple Karanvir Bohra & Teejay Sidhu are recognized as the most followed Instagram influencers. Building on their strong social media presence, Karanvir & Teejay are currently working on a web series which will be conceptualized and created by them. This reality based web series on travel will feature them along with their twin daughters, Bella and Vienna. The series promises to warm hearts as its set to take you on a journey across India with this star-studded couple teaching their children spirituality in the most fun and relatable way.

Karanvir & Teejay will be speaking at Godrej L’Affaire in Mumbai on Saturday, February 22.  The theme of the session is similar to the content of their web series. TOURISM MALAYSIA BOOSTS PUBLICITY FOR VM2020 IN INDIA





MUMBAI, 3 FEBRUARY 2020: With the target of welcoming 1 million tourist arrivals from India, Malaysia is gearing up its promotion for Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020) campaign at the Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) from 3 to 5 February 2020 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

As one of the leading travel shows held annually in India, OTM serves as a marketing platform that allows trade partners and tourists to showcase and obtain information on the latest products and offerings in the tourism sector. This year’s OTM is estimated to bring in 1,000 exhibitors from 55 countries, where they will be engaging with approximately 800 buyers and 15,000 trade visitors.

Led by Mr Zulkifly Md Said, the Deputy Director General (Planning) of Tourism Malaysia, the delegation from Malaysia this year includes 14 organisations from the Malaysian travel industry who will be offering special packages for 2020. The organisations consist of Malaysia Airlines, Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), 8 travel agents, 3 hotels and Window Malaysia, as the official eVisa provider for Malaysian government and one stop online platform.

In order to facilitate networking between buyers and sellers, Tourism Malaysia will coordinate B2B meetings as part of the programme.

With the allowance of visa-free entry for tourists from India for up to 15 days by the government, Malaysia hopes to see further growth in the number of arrivals from India, which is currently the sixth largest source of travellers with 600,311 arrivals in 2018, and 615,296 upto the period of January to October 2019. Malaysia is increasing its promotional efforts in order to meet the targets set for VM2020 to bring in 30 million tourist arrivals and RM100 billion in tourist receipts.

The Kia Soul EV made its global debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Motor Show and is fitted with a 64kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack offering around 450 kilometers of range in single charge. The Kia Niro EV is a crossover electric SUV designed to push boundaries. Globally, the Niro EV is charging ahead in the electric revolution with its range of over 450 kilometers, along with space, comfort, and versatility.
Moreover, Kia Motors India will also be showcasing the 2019 Red Dot Award winner XCeed, the trend-setting crossover utility vehicle with high seating, agile handling and advanced technology, and the Stonic, a compact and stylish crossover utility vehicle.
