National, 22nd April 2019: Motoroyale by Kinetic, the exclusive distributors of MV Agusta in India, is launching the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America here. These superbikes are at the pinnacle of the sports naked segment and only 5 units of the bike will be available here, in India.
The name “America” holds a prominent place in the MV Agusta heritage. The primary reference is to the “S America 750”, a model that dates back to 1975  which boasted of an in-line four-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshafts, 75 horsepower and air cooling.  More than 25 years later, it was the first Brutale, the four-cylinder designed by Massimo Tamburini, to revive the name “America” with an immediately recognizable color scheme; red, white and blue.

The MV Agusta Brutale RR America is a part of the Brutale 800 RR series, which is an outcome of three years of detail-oriented development and improvements on a series that was already an industry point of reference in terms of style, in line-three performance and riding dynamics.

Early disease diagnosis and awareness key to quality healthcare, stresses Sonali Bendre at CAHOCON 2019



Mumbai, 13th April, 2019: Detection of diseases like cancer at an early stage and creating mass awareness on a community level is key to attaining better healthcare outcomes, stated noted actress and cancer survivor “Sonali Bendre“ on the first Day of CAHOCON 2019, the 5th international conference of the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) held on April 13-14 at Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai. Pune, 31st March: CREDAI, the apex body of private Real Estate Developers with a strong base of over 12000 member developers present in 23 States & 205 City Chapters across India, today witnessed its ‘Change of Guard’ with Mr. Satish Magar taking over the baton from Mr. Jaxay Shah to become the new president of the 20-year-old body. The installation ceremony saw the gracious presence of CREDAI Executive and General Committee members, industry stalwarts, dignitaries from the industry and all past presidents of CREDAI National.
Mr. Boman Irani has been appointed as Vice President, CREDAI West Zone second time in a row. Mr. Shantilal Kataria becomes the Vice President, CREDAI Maharashtra, entitled as “Special Zone” for having maximum number of member developers at CREDAI. The Special Zone has 25% City Chapters out of total CREDAI City Chapters and 30% of individual member developers of CREDAI 12000-member base. Mr. Rajiv Parikh has been appointed as new President of CREDAI Maharashtra. Maharashtra remains a key growth epicenter for CREDAI where leading initiatives such as Skilling, Women’s Wing, Youth Wing and New India Summit have been given a massive boost in the recent past.
Mr. Satish Magar in his maiden address committed himself to “Transforming Indian Real Estate” in light of the new institutional structure defined by RERA, GST and policy measures to achieve “Housing for All by 2022”. The ceremony witnessed senior CREDAI dignitaries becoming the new flag bearers of the growth of CREDAI and the Indian Real Estate industry.
Taking CREDAI’s 20 years’ strong legacy forward built by his predecessors, Mr. Magar aims to expand CREDAI’s footprint to 100 more cities over the next two years with a robust focus on Tier 2, 3 and 4 cities amidst the wave of “New India”.
Reiterating CREDAI’s commitment towards the nation, Mr. Magar and his team intend to build a stronger skilling ecosystem and aim to impart skill training to 1 lac construction workers over the next two years. The new leadership team has a comprehensive roadmap for Skilling in place. Under the leadership of Mr. Magar, the new team will explore opportunities to tie up with statutory bodies like RERA, BoCW and Welfare boards for Skilling, Up-skilling, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and other scheme by Central Govt. The customized industry partnered Skilling Programs will be launched to create a talent pool of Skilled labor for the ever-burgeoning Indian Real Estate industry, revitalized with a new upsurge post the implementation of landmark reforms such as RERA, GST etc.
As a part of its holistic initiative, CREDAI also aims to plant and grow 5 lac trees across India by setting specified targets to each state and city chapter to achieve this objective

Prominent hospitals of Mumbai join hands to address challenges of Quality Healthcare in India

Mumbai, 28th March, 2019: Creating positive outcomes for quality healthcare and upgrading patient safety standards in India will be the key agenda of the 5th International CAHOCON 2019 to be held in Mumbai for the first time. Themed around Healthcare Quality Should Impact Outcome, the conference will be held on April 13th -14th 2019 and is organized by Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) to bring all accredited hospitals together. There is an urgent need to audit healthcare delivery standards and accredit healthcare organizations based on the quality of healthcare they provide to patients. This conference aims at finding the ways and means to build a robust healthcare infrastructure in the country that adheres to global healthcare quality standards,” stated Dr. PM Bhujang, President, Association of Hospitals.

Workshops and training programs will be organized across all the major hospitals in Mumbai for staff involved in clinical, diagnostics, nursing, and general and support services. A separate Masterclass has been organized on April 12 in leading hospitals of Mumbai including Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital, Hiranandani Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Hinduja Hospital, Saifee Hospital, D Y Patil Hospital and Wockhardt Hospital. Topics to be covered include Process Re-engineering, Hospital planning, Nursing Communication, Cyber Security and Infrastructural Safety.
With a view to sensitizing medical personnel to the changing requirements and understand them, CAHO has been conducting programs to train doctors, nurses and administrators. CAHO intends to increase the frequency of these programs to provide training in the areas of quality implementers, fire safety, hospital infection control, disaster management and many others which have already become very popular.
Leveraging social media is very important to increase the outreach towards stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. CAHO has an active online presence through its website and Facebook. They also conduct regular webinars. Trained persons are regularly interacting on WhatsApp groups which are strictly for academic activity.

Endemol Shine Group, DoveTail Media and acclaimed film director Shekhar Kapur join forces to bring best-selling novels The Ibis Trilogy to worldwide market

Global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group today announces the development of a major high-end production for the international market.

Shekhar Kapur, the award-winning film director behind ‘Elizabeth’ and ‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’ as well as Bollywood smash hits ‘Mr. India’, ‘Masoom’ and ‘Bandit Queen’ has signed a deal with Endemol Shine Group to bring to life the trilogy of best-selling novels by acclaimed author Amitav Ghosh.

Ghosh’s masterpiece, which begins with ‘Sea of Poppies’, continues with ‘River of Smoke’ and concludes with ‘Flood of Fire’, has already achieved classic status and is seen as a landmark of twenty-first century literature.

The agreement also brings together Endemol Shine Group companies, Artists Studio (‘The Fall’) and Endemol Shine India (‘Test Case’) who will produce the drama in partnership with TV packaging consultancy service DoveTale Media who initially acquired the rights to the books.

Justin Pollard, whose credits include the blockbuster ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise as well as hit television series ‘Vikings’ and ‘The Tudors’, is on board as Historical Consultant and Story Editor. Set in mid-nineteenth century Asia, the series will interweave the lives of vividly drawn characters against the backdrop of the opium wars between Britain, India and China.  The team is in the process of lining up a lead writer.
