Ajay Mehra (from previous Ghayal-1990), after finishing off his life sentence, starts a newspaper called Satyakam. Working with a strange team of RTI activists, ex-criminals and ilk; and even stranger ways of unearthing and presenting truth, Ajay Mehra has earned quite a fan following among the youths, who finds his fearless and unforgiving approach in dealing with all kinds of sociopaths very inspiring. Among his diehard fans are these four teenagers who happened to have received bravery medals from him once. These four friends once out on photography expedition, accidentally record a murder on a camera. The footage turns out to be explosive as it clearly shows two of the city's most powerful people involved in the murder. Well what happens after this is a series of twist and turns where the four kids get entangled and have to fight it out with the most powerful man of the city. The movie stars Sunny Deol, Soha Ali Khan, Om Puri & Ticsa Chopra.

This game is based on the story of kids who are in a grave situation similar to the film and Ajay Mehra has to save them.

The 6th edition of the National Jewellery Awards 2015-16 (NJA) organized by All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) were organized on 6th February 2016, at JW Marriot, Sahar, Mumbai.
NJA is the Industry’s most prestigious annual awards show, organized by GJF and a platform to recognize and honor talent with unbiased and relentless efforts for the welfare of Gems & Jewellery industry in India.  Honouring the works from 34 categories, the Awards comprised of 16 Jewellery Award Categories, Excellence Awards – 9 Categories, Artisan / Craftsman / Designer Awards – 3 Categories, Student Awards* – 1 Category, the winning Students received Scholarships from GJF to pursue a career in Jewellery industry with a total scholarship of Rs. 15 lacs, Gem of the year award and Anmol Ratna Award amongst others. PMKVY completes 10 lakh enrolments under Skill India, 70% have completed their skill trainings since its launch

New Delhi; February 05, 2016: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the flagship of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, today completed 10 lakh enrolments under the scheme. The scheme has been implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) through a network of 1012 training partners affiliated to the scheme.
The scheme has seen 10,28,671 enrolments under 382 active job roles out of which 70% have already completed their trainings.
The scheme has been implemented across all 29 states and 6 union territories of the country, and covered 596 districts and 531 constituencies. It addresses the requirement for skill development across 29 sectors in which around 566 job roles have been identified for courses in which the youth can enrol and can get trained. These courses help in making them more employable with hands on experience on skills that will make them more employable and also more efficient in their work.
Appreciating the achievement of reaching the 10 lakh mark, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) stated, “I am elated at the response that Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the world’s largest skill development scheme, has got. 10 lakh is good number and I am happy to see how our ecosystem has come together to galvanise our country’s youth towards our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of a Skilled India.”
“This achievement will urge more youth to join the Skill India Mission and PMKVY is here to support those who have financial limitations to hone a skill of their choice. I am certain this scheme will open doors to a new life for many.”
Mr. S. Ramadorai, Chairman, National Skill Development and Corporation (NSDC) said, “The 10 lakh figure gives us a sense of achievement and also encourages us to gear ourselves even more, and galvanise many more in this public private partnership. With 8749 active centres across the country through which we implemented PMKVY, it wouldn’t have been possible to achieve this milestone, without the due support of the Sector Skill Councils and the training partners.’
The states which reflect maximum enrolments under PMKVY are Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh while the sectors which saw maximum enrolments are Logistics (135615), Agriculture (90489), Electronics (82903), Beauty and Wellness (72316), Retail (65901) and Automotive (61846).
The Ministry of Skill Development with the help of NSDC and the local training partners, and support from state governments, MPs and MLAs conducted 410 Kaushal Vikas Shivirs across the country, to educate and encourage the youth to avail the scheme. Most of these shivirs also had Classrooms cum labs set up within the venue to enable visitors to witness the format of the training
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a unique initiative by the Government of India that aims to offer 24 lakh Indian youth meaningful, industry relevant, skill based training. Under this scheme, the trainees will be offered a financial reward and a government certification on successful completion of training and assessment, which will help them in securing a job for a better future.

About Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)
The Union Cabinet had approved India’s largest skill certification and monetary reward scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), on 20 March 2014. The scheme was launched by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 15 July 2015, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day.  
The scheme aims to provide industry-relevant skill training to 24 lakh Indian youth over a period of one year. Under this initiative, candidates will be offered a monetary reward and Government certification on successful completion of industry-relevant training and assessment, which will help them secure jobs for a better future. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will be assessed. If they pass the assessment, they will receive the Government certification and the monetary reward. The monetary reward will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary.
PMKVY is the flagship outcome based skill training scheme of the new Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as its designated implementing agency. Training is imparted by affiliated Training Partners in accordance to the National Occupational Standards (NOSs) and Qualification Packs (QPs), which have been devised by industry driven bodies known as Sector Skill Councils (SSCs). Candidates are assessed by authorised independent Assessment Agencies. To maintain transparency and objectivity no overlap of roles is allowed between the Assessment Agency and Training Partners.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a unique Public Private Partnership (PPP), with 51 percent equity held by private sector and the balance 49 percent by the Union Government. Formed in 2010, NSDC is a professionally run not-for-profit company that includes 38 Sector Skill Councils and over 249 training partners with over 3222 training centers spread across over 517 districts in the country. NSDC is mandated to skill 150 million Indians by 2022.

New Delhi, 5th Feb 2016: The Board of Directors met today and approved the results for the quarter and nine months ended 31st Dec 2015.

Consolidated Q3 financial performance
Consolidated net sales increased by 6% to Rs.526 crores from Rs.497 crores, on a quarter on quarter basis.On a sequential basis, sales grew by 2%. The growth came about by way of higher business from the standalone entity.

Consolidated PBT increased by 35% from Rs.39 crores to Rs.53 crores in the current quarter. The profit after tax increased by 39% (i.e. Rs.31 crores compared to Rs.22 crores during corresponding quarter of last year).

Electro minerals division sales registered growth for both sequential and quarter on quarter basis. Sales of Ceramics division had a de growth compared to corresponding quarter of last year, however registered a growth on a sequential basis. Abrasives division had a de-growth sequentially, however registered a growth compared to corresponding quarter of last year.

Profitability of Electro minerals and Abrasives businesses improved, however Ceramics was under pressure compared to corresponding quarter of last year.


Consolidated Segmental Operating Performance

Abrasives
At a consolidated level, the net sales for the quarter were at Rs. 229 cr which was 8% higher than the similar period of last year. On a sequential basis, sales were lower by 3%, with Q2 2015-16 sales being at Rs. 236 cr. The growth was led by strong performance from CUMI standalone business.

Profit before interest and tax on a consolidated basis recorded an increase from 6.2% in quarter 3 of last year to 8.6% in current quarter exhibiting a strong comeback in the margins. The margins however was lower compared to Quarter 2 of 2015-16.

Electro Minerals
At a consolidated level, the Net Sales for current quarter were at Rs. 193 cr versus Rs. 172 cr last year. The sales were higher due to better performance of standalone India business. Notwithstanding a weak Rouble, Russian operation also delivered a growth. Sequentially also the Net Sales mirrored a similar trend.

Profits grew significantly from Rs.18 cr in last year similar quarter to Rs. 29 cr in current quarter.  The gain majorly arose due to closing down of loss making operations of TRI & re-structuring of Foskor Zirconia supported by better performance of India business.



Ceramics
At a consolidated level, the net sales for the quarter were at Rs. 119 cr versus Rs. 124 cr for the corresponding quarter last year. This is a drop of 4%. On a sequential basis, the sales grew by about 5%.
Industrial ceramics business registered better sales in the current quarter.

Profits were at Rs. 16 cr in current quarter compared to Rs. 14 cr and Rs. 19 cr in Quarter 2  of current year and Quarter 3 of last year respectively.

Interim Dividend
The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 5th Feb, 2016 has recommended an interim dividend of Rs. 1/- per share (100% on face value of Re.1) to the shareholders of the Company.

Mahesh Thakur turns into a naariyal paani vaala in SAB TV’s Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle


SAB TV’s new show Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle has been garnering a lot of attention and the viewers are enjoying the current track on the show. The latest track will see an amazing twist with the very talented Mahesh Thakur donning a new avatar for the upcoming storyline.  

Mahesh Thakur who is seen as the millionaire father of Ranbeer on the show will be seen in a completely different avatar in upcoming track. Being a rich single father and not being able to spend time with his only son he figures out a way to go meet him at his workplace. Being very jovial by nature, he is ready to do anything for his son and so he decides to disguise himself as a naariyal paani vaala. But this creates chaos and a mess in the hospital.


When spoken to Mahesh Thakur he mentioned, “Well when I got to know I was to dress like a naariyal paani vaala the first thing that came to my mind was Mithun Ji from Agneepath where he played the character of Krishnan Iyer M.A the naariyal paani vaala. It’s a fun add on to my character where I disguise myself to this funny character where I to go meet my son Ranbeer(Ather Habib) at his workplace so that his secret of not being a spoilt son of a rich father remains untold. I hope the viewers enjoy this new avatar of mine something I have never done in all these years of my life in the entertainment industry and I hope they appreciate it too.

Kangana Ranaut is Indian Naval guest of Honour!


Kangana Ranaut, will be attending the opening ceremony of the International Fleet Review (IFR), in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh today. She is the guest of honour for the event. Last year, the actress represented India on an international platform, when she was invited to be part of the Women in the World Summit, in London.

 “The prestigious event, hosted by the Indian Navy, will be held today and tomorrow (February 5 and 6). It will be attended by several dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and defence minister Monohar Parrikar. For the opening ceremony today, Kangana will share the stage with Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the governor of Andhra Pradesh, ESL Narasimhan. Tomorrow, she will be part of a sailing event, where she will sail with PM Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee, among other dignitaries,” says a source close to Kangana.

 It seems that Kangana had blocked her dates for this event four months back. “The mega event will also be attended by nearly 10,000 officers and sailors, along with their families,” When asked  the actor’s spokesperson they confirmed the news, saying, “Kangana will attend the event in Visakhapatnam. She is glad to be part of it, as she has the highest regard for the Indian Armed Forces.”
