Mumbai, June 23, 2014: It was a dream-come-true for 100 boys-at-heart from all over the country as they got to meet their favourite Hero, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, here on Monday.

These 100 men got this golden opportunity, having emerged as winners of the “Hero Maestro Contest”, initiated by Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL), the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer.

The month-long contest revolved around Hero’s popular scooter Maestro – which is specifically targeted at men. The contest was conducted at two-levels - on-ground, through Maestro test rides and purchases across 30 cities around the country; and also on-line, through posting of unique ‘selfies’ depicting the tagline of Maestro on Hero’s – “Such a boy thing”. The contestants were required to post their selfies on the either the Maestro micro site, or on Hero MotoCorp Facebook page, Twitter handle or on Instagram.

The contest got an overwhelming response from male riders across the country with thousands of entries received in a month’s time, out of which these 100 lucky winners were selected to meet and party with Ranbir Kapoor – the Hero brand ambassador.

Hero Maestro – the masculine scooter - exhibits the male attitude and is a celebration of a boy’s life. The contest was aligned to this philosophy. All the winning boys got an opportunity to interact with their favorite superstar Ranbir today. We at Hero are glad to create wonderful memories through this platform that will stay with the boys forever.

Taaha Shah, who had a dream launch with Y- films Luv Ka The End opposite Shraddha Kapoor, has now been cast in J P Gene's next untitled production.  The film is a launch pad for Nidhi Dutta, the veteran Filmmakers daughter and Ajit Sodhi, son of actress Nafisa Ali.

Taaha, who has his platter full this year with Tina and Lolo opposite Sunny Leone and Barkhaa opposite Sara Loren slated for the year's release, says "I feel truly blessed to be associated with JP sir's production. Its a dream come true for a newcomer like me to be given a chance to work with a legend known for his cinematic excellence."

The films Director, Binoy Gandhi, has assisted Kunal Kohli and Siddharth Anand earlier along with directing ‘Ishq Holiday,’ a 45 minute feature film, says "Taaha was the obvious choice for the role. With his raw energy and spot on timing, he fit the part to the T".

Legendary director, Ramesh Sippy will be directing once again, a film called Shimla Mirchi starring Hema Malini and Rajkummar Rao. 

Actress opposite Rajkummar Rao is yet to finalise. The film goes on the floor in August and is a sweet, romantic story with its quirky twists.

Ramesh Sippy’s cult classic Sholay was released 39 years back in 1975, when he created the character of Basanti  with his favourite actress Hema Malini. Ramesh Sippy is going to work with Hema malini after Sholay in Shimla Mirchi and like his other films, the first letter of his next film is also with the letter "S".

Ramesh Sippy always chose to make diverse films right through his career in spite of he being a blockbuster director, to begin with mature love story Andaz, to comedy Seeta aur Geeta, to an action adventure Sholay, to slick action Shaan to family drama with Shakti to romantic love story Saagar.

Rajkummar Rao opted out of film to be made on Chetan Bhagat's Revolution 2020 for Ramesh Sippy's upcoming Shimla Mirchi.

Huma Qureshi lends her voice for the LGBT

Huma Qureshi has lent her voice to a spread social awareness for the LGBT community.

The actress is going to be part of a poetic campaign called "Ishq ki Ijaazat" which will launch online and spread awareness.

The initiate is not an angry statement against the Article 377. But a dialogue which implores, nudges and converses.

Huma gracefully agreed to be a part of this project and did wonderful justice to the words with her impeccable diction and assertive yet tender voice. She rendered poetry as effortlessly.

"Ishq ki Ijaazat" is a poetic campaign to urge people to bring love out in the open. It is not about sexual preferences. It is about a basic right that every human being deserves – to be able to love with dignity, and not prejudice.

"Ishq ki Ijaazat" is a film poem by Satyanshu and Devanshu Singh – the brother duo who wrote the poetry in Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Udaan' (2010)

Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D, starring Bipasha Basu and Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, has hit another roadblock. The release date of the film has been postponed to September 12 from August 22^nd as the producer of the film believes that August 22^nd is an unlucky date.

According to sources close to the film “ Bhushan Kumar doesn’t want anything to go wrong with a project as ambitious as Creature 3D. This has also given more time to Vikram Bhatt for his post- production work.”

The director, Vikram Bhatt , says that the delay of the film is due to the VFX work. “It’s a mega budget film for both Bhushan and me. We had to push forward the release by two weeks because Ajay Devgan’s Singham Returns opens on August 15^th and we didn’t want to come within a week of its release.”

T-Series is all set to release Vikram Bhatt’s next sci-fi thriller, 'Creature 3D'. The film starring Bipasha Basu will mark the debut of Imran Abbas and is slated to release on 12^th September, 2014.

Bhushan Kumar on the latest development says, “Vikram is working on the post production of the film since there is a lot of VFX work to be done. He has shot it on par with international standards and this will be a treat for the Indian audiences. We have chalked our promotional plans and have taken a mutual decision with our distributors to postpone the release of the film. Now the film hits screens on 12^thSeptember.”

After Haunted and Raaz 3, Vikram Bhatt wears the directors cap for another 3D film that will scare the audience with a creature created using VFX which will be a first of its kind in India.

J P Gene's production 1, directed by Binoy Gandhi, has finished with their first schedule in Mumbai. Soon they will start with their second schedule which they will be shooting in abroad. The film stars Nidhi Dutta and Ajit Sodhi along with Sagarika Ghatge, Taaha Shah and Diganth Manchale.

J P Gene is JP Dutta's new production company which will focus on young films and target younger audiences.

Actor Ansel Elgort, said that he formed a strong bond with Shailene Woodley during the shooting for their sic-fi film “Divergent” where they played siblings.  

According to the actor it was their off-screen chemistry which helped them during the filming of “The Fault in Our Stars” where they play Gus (Elgort) and Hazel (Woodley), two cancer-stricken teens who fall in love.

“The Gus and Hazel relationship, it’s so important that it’s authentic and real,” Elgort says. “They do feel like they’re real friends and they do feel like they have that chemistry,” he said.

“If in real life those two people don’t have any connection and it’s just two actors going through the motions, it would be very boring,” he continued. They even developed inside jokes that they had “in their eyes,” when on the set of “The Fault in Our Stars.”

“When we did this movie, we were already very close friends,” he said.

Well it has always been clear the special bond Mahesh Bhatt shares with Bipasha Basu. But it came as a huge surprise for the cast and crew of Alone when Bhatt Sahab (As he is fondly known) came as a surprise on the sets of Alone, who's shooting has begun!!

The film stars Bipasha in lead and is being directed by Bhushan Patel, both of whom have worked with Bhatt’s in the past and have a great success history too. So needless to say the entire set got along like a house on fire since they had their mentor to witness the shoot.

When quizzed, Producer Abhishek Pathak about this surprise said “We were really happy to have Bhatt Sahab on sets, who better than him could have mentored our film Alone which is a Horror love story, a genre best explored and presented by him”.

​ वीर ने कहा " मुझे पता है शूट पर हर प्राणी का ठीक से ध्यान रखा नहीं जाता , मरे पास भी बुलडॉग है और मुझे पता है इन्हे कैसे संभालना चाहिए और इसी लिए मेने रिक्वेस्ट कर पग को ठण्ड में रखने को कहा। लेकिन आउट डोर का क्या ? इस लिए मेने मेरी वैनिटी वैन मेरे इस को स्टार से शेयर की जब उसका शूट ना हो तब वह वैनिटी के अंदर रहता था लेकिन वह ज्यादा तर समय वही अंदर रहा और में वैनिटी के बाहर, इस बात से मुझे भी जलन हो रही थी की मेरे को स्टार पग को भी स्टार की तरह ट्रीटमेंट मेरा क्रू दे रहा था ( वीरदास मुस्कुराते हुए )

 Humshakals a film by Sajid Khan which is not a tribute to the master’s of comedy Kishore Kumar and Peter Sellers but a piece of shit which can’t be mention or compared in history of such gems which is never going to fade. Please stop making comedy films Mr.Sajid and go to your anchoring which you deserve and are good at.

Humshakals as three pair of identical senseless guys [Saif, Ritesh and Ram kapoor] who are crudely trying  to tickle ones funny bone but in vain. And not to forget the three young sexy girls [Tamannaah Bhatia,Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu] in a queue to make their presence believable.

One pair is a millionaire in shadow of an iniquitous uncle who has his eye on to be the next heir, next the millionaire pair is dragged into an asylum for a reason to woof around in corporate meeting. Worst the second pair is in the asylum for an instant exchange for the mamaji’s evil plan to get the millions. The pandemonium continues as the third pair is forcibly dragged into the script to get the stale comedy make more fireworks.

A perplexed effort to create a comic atmosphere which ends nowhere and but will feel obnoxious when one leaves the hall with an oath never ever to venture into a Sajid Khan film.

The film has crossed 50 crores and become a super hit.

So much so that recently Kriti Sanon's father hosted a party for the entire family and relatives to celebrate the big success of his daughter

It was a very emotional moment for him and he was extremely proud of his daughter.

Kriti's Dad says, "It was a very emotional and proud moment for me to see my daughter's film become a super hit. My entire family got together and celebrated for this huge success here in Delhi"

Kriti Sanon comes from Delhi and has no film background.

Her dad, in the most common way, just like any other father celebrated his daughter's big success.

The entire family got together after a really long time and they danced on the songs of Heropanti.

When contacted Kriti, she confirmed the news and added, "It has been a time of celebration as our film, Heropanti has crossed 50 crores and is being loved so much. But, the most special celebration that i was a part of was the one that my dad hosted back in Delhi. I met them after a very long time and we all danced on the songs of Heropanti."

Since the trailer launch, Sidharth has got a fantastic response for his look and acting from all quarters.However, Sidharth personally has been very nervous.

He has had sleepless nights for more than two weeks and is anxious

Even though he is physically tired after long promotion schedules Sidharth has been unable to have sound sleep.

Huma Qureshi will have a special song in Sriram Raghvan's next film Badlapur which is reminiscent of 90s.
The young actress who is currently shooting for her film is watching all sensual and popular songs of Raveena Tondon and Urmila Mantondkar as part of her preparation for the song.

The actress will be seen showing some sassy moves is doing her research for visuals / dance moves of the 90's songs.

Anahita Shroff will be doing her styling for the first time, wants her to be in a complete new avtaar. 

While lyrics and song is getting finalised director wanted Huma to be acquainted to the music of 90s.

Huma said, “I've always been a fan of the the decade. Vidya Balan will start city tours for her upcoming film Bobby Jasoos. The first city she will visit is Hyderabad.

It was Vidya’s idea to start the city tours from Hyderabad. Vidya has been actively taking part in the marketing meetings and strongly feels what Kolkata was to Kahaani, Hyderabad is to Bobby Jasoos.

Spokesperson shares "It was Vidya's suggestion to start city tours from Hyderabad. She is keen to go back to the city."

Bobby Jasoos is set in this old city of Hyderabad and has been extensively shot there. Hyderabad is almost like a character in the film. The flavor of the city has been beautifully captured and is almost rendering to the script.

New York actor Prashantt Guptha to be seen as lead in two films after last year's ISSAQ

Actor Prashantt Guptha (formerly known as Prashaant Kumar) was last seen as the anti-hero in Jayantilal Gada and Shailesh Singh's Hindi adaptation of Romeo & Juliet, ISSAQ. Though the film didn't fare as well as the other Hit adaptation that followed, Ram-Leela, quite a few in the industry took note of this newcomer's performance. Much to the amusement of many a viewers was the fact that this young actor, who was born and raised in New York and otherwise maintains the 'chocolate-boy next door' kind of look, could mould himself flawlessly into a hardcore grey-shaded Banarasi cop. Post Issaq, he bagged two films in a principal role, IDENTITY CARD and 6-5=2. 

In Rahat Kazmi’s Identity Card, Prashantt plays a Kashmiri cop along with Saurabh Shukla, Vipin Sharma, Raghubir Yadav and Brijendra Kala. The film is a Dark-Comedy and highlights the importance of an identity card in Kashmir without which one can be interrogated and arrested and labeled a terrorist. It will be his second film as a cop after Issaq. Bharat Jain’s 6-5=2 is a remake of a Kannada film in which Prashantt plays an aspiring cinematographer who takes his friends trekking into a jungle to make an adventure film and what happens during that journey is what the film is all about.

On a recent trip to New York, Prashantt Guptha managed to bag his first brand endorsement deal too. "It's for an American watch brand," says the actor whose 'time' seems just about right. 

Salman to launch Jumme Ki Raat .

After the much awaited trailer of Kick was launched on 15^th June, amidst thousands of people and huge fanfare, Sajid Nadiadwala and the star Khan have planned their next special event.‎

Kick, which is slated to release this Eid is launching its first song, Jumme Ki Raat on 20^th June (Friday). ‎

Sajid and Salman deliberately plotted the date for the big event on a Jumma i.e. a Friday so that the Muslim fans of the film and Salman have at least a week to enjoy the song before Ramzaan begins. (Ramzaan starts on 28th). 

Both Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman khan wanted this song to be a treat for all the fans of the star Khan

The song, starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes is very peppy, playful and one that will stick in audiences’ head.

Choreographed by Ahmed Khan, the song has been shot in grunge style ‎in Mehboob Studios, Mumbai. 

The trailer has become a huge success and audiences can't stop raving about it. It has broken all records. The trailer had crossed five million views in just 59 hours which is the fastest ever,

Sajid Nadiadwala says, "The song Jumme ki Raat is a treat for all fans of Salman Khan. It is shot in the underground style on a very big scale. We have tried to give it the edgy and grungy feel. The entire team of the song has done a fabulous job of putting this together with interesting visuals."

Hate Story 2 debutant Surveen Chawla, who is at present busy shooting in Canada for her Punjabi film, she has now decided to put that shoot on hold and return to India to promote her Hindi film as she had apparently not allotted any dates to the makers of 'Hate Story 2' for its promotions

A source says, "Surveen has been shooting in Canada for many days now. In fact, even for the first look launch, she had landed in the country only for two days after which she flew back to Canada to resume shooting there. When Hate Story 2's marketing team was drawing a plan for the promotions, she told them that she won't be available for the same and that she could come back just one week before the film's release."

The maker’s then thought roping in Sunny Leone for a special promotional song. An insider says, "It would have been tough for us to promote the film with just the male actor (Jay Bhanushali). So we decided to shoot a special song with Sunny Leone."

When Surveen learnt about  the promotional song she got worried, source further adds "Surveen realised that the song will create a lot of buzz especially since she is not available to promote the film. She doesn't want Sunny to steal her thunder, so she has decided to return to India and make herself available on more days for the film’s promotions."

However film's director Vishal Pandya, denies a dates issue with Surveen. He says,"Yes, initially, she was not available to take part in the film's promotions. But now she is coming back because she knows that her presence is important for the film's publicity." 

Hate story 2 produced under the banner of T-series is slated for 18th July release.
