Sci-Fi Thriller.   The epic action of “Edge of Tomorrow” unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.  Major William  Cage  (Tom  Cruise)  is  an  officer  who  has  never  seen  a  day  of  combat  when he  is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission.  Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again.  But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt).  And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Family Adventure. “Dolphin Tale 2” continues the story of the brave dolphin Winter, whose miraculous rescue and recovery—thanks to a groundbreaking prosthetic tail—made her a symbol of hope and perseverance to people around the world and inspired the 2011 family hit movie “Dolphin Tale.”  It has been several years since young Sawyer Nelson (Nathan Gamble) and the dedicated team at the Clearwater Marine Hospital, headed by Dr. Clay Haskett (Harry Connick, Jr.), rescued Winter.   With the help of Dr. Cameron McCarthy (Morgan Freeman), who developed a unique prosthetic tail for the injured dolphin, they were able to save her life. Yet their fight is not over. Winter’s  surrogate  mother,  the  very  elderly  dolphin  Panama,  has  passed  away,  leaving  Winter without the only poolmate she has ever known. However, the loss of Panama may have even greater repercussions  for  Winter,  who,  according  to  USDA  regulations,  cannot  be  housed  alone,  as dolphins’ social behavior requires them to be paired with other dolphins.  Time is running out to find a companion for her before the team at Clearwater loses their beloved Winter to another aquarium.
