COLORS is all set to dance its way into your living rooms with an ‘alag’ new season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’

~ Winner of Dancing With The Stars 2014 Maksim Chmerkovskiy joins Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza on the jury panel ~

~ Ranvir Shorey joins last season’s winner Dhrashti Dhami as brand new host on the show~

Mumbai, June 02, 2014: You’ve seen them dance, you’ve seen them pirouette, you’ve seen them leap and perform aerial stunts. But don’t think you’ve seen it all just yet! With a brand new season of Jhalak Dilkhhla Jaa all set to make its appearance on COLORS on 7th June at 9PM, the stakes have been upped and the challenge is to showcase something ‘alag’ this time. So how exactly is this season going to be different? This season the audiences will be introduced to some unusual and unheard of dance forms like Capoeira, Zouk, Bolero and many more from all the corners of the world. 

The woman known for her latkas-jhatkas-and-thumkas, Madhuri Dixit-Nene makes her come back, albeit in a sexier, hotter look which is sure to set hearts racing faster than ever as she shakes a leg to some new dance forms. Karan Johar, who seemed to be the easiest to please until now, is going to be seen as the no-nonsense judge focusing purely on the performance. Choreographer-jury member extraordinaire, Remo will be seen sporting a grunge look to go with his surly demeanor and he promises to be the one the contestants would be well advised to be wary of. And to up the ante and taking this competition to a truly international level would be Ukrainian dance expert, winner of the international Dancing with the Stars and new jury member Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Clearly, this season, there’s going to be no room for error. Average is not made for the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Announcing the launch of the new season Raj Nayak, CEO - COLORS stated, “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is a celebration of dance that our viewers from the world over love to be a part of. This season, we decided to bring the world to our Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa stage. Giving the stage a truly global flavor will be never-seen-before dance forms from all the corners of the globe to an exciting new jury member of international repute.”

Hosted by Ranvir Shorey and last season’s winner Drashti Dhami, this season dancing and performances will no longer be confined to the dimensions of the stage but will venture outdoors as well. Upping the ante this season, audience favourites Salman Yusuff Khan and Lauren Gottleib will take on the role of adversaries and join hands to challenge contestants in an exciting dance combat. And to ease the tension on the floor, popular comedian Sudesh Lehri has been roped in to provide the much needed comic relief.

While rumor mills have it that Bollywood’s Queen Bee Kangana Ranaut ,who received praise and accolades for her performance in Queen and Revolver Rani ,opted out of Sujoy Ghosh’s Durga Rani Singh ,truth be told,the actress who had enrolled for a script writing course at a University in New York will head back to the city to complete her course.

Kangana who has deep respect for Sujoy and his work informed the director that she will not be able to commit the 5 months that was required out of her for the film as she had to complete her course in New York which she enrolled in last year.

While the actress took time out to promote her films Queen and Revolver Rani she is now committed to completing her course,something she has long wanted to do.

Says a source, “Sujoy was keen on casting Kangana ,however,the film required 5 months of her time which also includes workshops in Kolkata in June.Kangana known to be true to her craft knew it would be impossible to commit this much time to the film with her ongoing projects and her script writing course in New York and graciously informed Sujoy of the same”.

The much talked about Multi-Language film Amma which has sandalwood queen Ragini Dwivedi playing the title role was launched at Om Shakti temple Bengaluru on the occassion of Ragini's birthday. This is the second film after Ragini IPS to be launched on her birthday. On the occasion, The Makers revealed the first look poster and Teaser trailer of the movie.

Amma is written and directed by Faisal Saif and being made in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously. Producer C.R.Manohar said "I was very impressed with director Faisal Saif's work and overall with his script and conviction that i immediately decided to make this movie with him. Amma will release after we release Basavanna which is nearing it's completion."

"I am very happy and excited because this is the second woman oriented film to be launched on my birthday after Ragini IPS. I thank all my well-wishers, fans, writers and directors who had faith in me and because of their faith and trust, I have reached this height. Faisal Saif is a dear friend and a wonderful technician. It was because of his immense faith in me and the beautiful script, I decided to take up Amma." said the excited Ragini.

Faisal Saif who is presently busy completing his most talked about Hindi-Tamil bilingual Main Hoon Rajinikanth added "Amma is a story of a Goddess in a Woman and i think Om Shakti temple would be the perfect place to launch this film."

by Emenox Media PVT. LTD,  is a Comedy that  promises to be a crazy, mad,
totally tripped out ride.

In Guddu ki Gun, Kunal Khemu plays Guddu Bhaiya, a charming  washing powder
salesman in Kolkata with a midas touch and a soft corner for beautiful
Bengali Housewives. After 99,  Go Goa Gone and now Guddu ki Gun, Kunal  in
a 'Boudi Killer' avatar, is pushing the limits, selecting scripts with
twisted innovative, youth centric, urban concepts.

Music is by various artists. Cinematographer - Keiko Nakahara, Sets -

Debutant Director Nitin Kakkar's Filmistaan team has walking on cloud nine after getting praise from Mr. Amitabh Bachchan who watched the Film recently and tweeted about it.

Filmistaan starring Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq is all set to release on June 6th. It has won Best Feature Film in Hindi in the 60th National Film Awards 2012 plus it won the The Silver Crow Pheasant Award for Best Debut Film in International Film Festival of Kerala.
