The energetic and vibrant Music Launch of Balaji Motion Pictures Main Tera Hero.

Bollywood Hunk Varun Dhawan and our Rockstar girl Nargis Fakhri were on a roll on Tuesday evening as they released the music of their upcoming film, Main Tera Hero at Inorbit Mall, Mumbai.

The upbeat duo was joined by Ekta Kapoor ,T-series owner Bhushan Kumar and the King of Comedy David Dhawan, director of the Balaji Motion Pictures movie. Music directors  Sajid –Wajid made the crowds go gaga over their tunes. Their impromptu performance with Varun Dhawan was like the icing to the cake.

The Music launch was a day long journey , where Varun Dhawan and Nargis Fakhri completed a college trail which included colleges like Mithibai, Bhavans and Thakur College in Open Top Main Tera Hero bus, and finally launched the music in the evening.

Well, all we can say is ,the Hero arrived in style and mesmerized everyone.

It’s dark & grotesque – as dark & as grotesque as the bright comedy in it. It’s a very vitriolic and an angry take on today’s political scenario. The central idea revolves around a 200-buck prostitute, on the run and penniless. She lands up in a town where a by-election is just hotting up. There, she gets caught in the vortex of political shenanigans of the by-election and guess what? She ends up becoming the Chief Minister! Not that she deserves to be – but then, are the ones in the office any better? This is a story of how a 200-rupee prostitute became the CM in 4 days? and then P Se PM Tak... with a 17-minute hilarious rollicking dead-body climax never before seen on any screen!

Kundan Shah is an Indian film director and writer. He is most known for his comedy classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (1983) and his 1985–1986, TV series Nukkad with Saeed Akhtar Mirza.

Kundan Shah studied direction at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and he developed an interest in the comedy genre.

His directorial debut was the comedy film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro in 1983. He also took part in the writing of the film, along with Satish Kaushik. The film introduced Indian cinema to satirical comedies for the first time and was well accepted as not being slapstick.

Kundan Shah then started to work in television. He was one of the directors of the popular sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, which started telecast in August 1984. He became a partner of Iskra, a company founded by Saeed Akhtar Mirza, Aziz Mirza and others.

In 1985–1986 he directed the TV series Nukkad along with Saeed Akhtar Mirza. The serial was another folk comedy dealing with the routine life of street youngsters. In 1987 he directed another television serial named "Manoranjan", the comedy serial was on film industry and became an instant hit. IN 1988, he started directing sitcom, Wagle Ki Duniya, based on cartoonist, R. K. Laxman's character, the common man, starring Anjan Srivastav.

Kundan Shah made his comeback to cinema in 1993. He directed the famous Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and wrote the screenplay for the film. The film was another comic love story but it also displayed new aspects to its credit – it was the first time that the hero in the film was an absolute loser. The film starred Shahrukh Khan in one of his first roles. The film was much acclaimed and both Shah and Khan were appreciated for their work. In 1994, Kundan Shah won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Movie for the film. He was the first filmmaker to win this award.

In 1998, Shah directed another acclaimed film, Kya Kehna. Due to delay, the film released in 2000 and became the surprise hit of the year. The film dealt with a social controversial issue – single parenthood. Actress Preity Zinta debuted in this film and enacted the lead role of a teenage single-mother who tries to overcome the wrong values of her society. Preity Zinta's performance was also acclaimed.

About MEENAKSHI DIXIT

Born to Lucknow-based lawyer Mr.Ishwar Chandra Dixit and his wife Mrs.Geeta Dixit, Meenakshi Dixit has had a longstanding affair with the art of performance.

Apart from excelling at academia, Meenakshi’s creative talent shone through her keen interest in extracurricular activities including dance and drama. Carried throughout college, this interest would eventually materialize into a passion for performance. Meenakshi’s discovery and subsequent foray into acting was paved by a chance audition which she gave for the television dance class reality show “Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan”. After polishing Meenakshi’s dancing skills, the prominent choreographer advised her to put her performance skills to the test and consider acting in films. Meenakshi’s success in the show earned her much repute as well as many offers from the film industry in the South.

Meenakshi played the role of lead heroine in many popular Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil movies like "Alexander the Great", "Devaraya", "Adavi Kaachina Vennela" to name a few. Alongside, she also further diversified her portfolio with various ad campaigns for national and international brands like "BrookeBond Taaza Tea", "Joyalukkas Jewellery" etc.

Most recently, she is elated with the completion of her Bollywood debut film “P Se PM Tak”. Directed by legendary director Kundan Shah and produced by PEN India, the movie will present Meenakshi essaying the journey of a prostitute who ends up becoming a candidate for the Prime Minister of the country.

   आमिर अली ने कहा कि गैंग ऑफ़ घोस्ट्स के निर्देशक सतीश कौशिक मेरे एक कॉन्सर्ट पर आये थे, तभी उन्होंने मुझे फ़िल्म में गाना गाने का ऑफर दिया, उसके बाद हमने  गानो पर विचार विमर्श किया और उसके उपरांत सतीश जी ने कहा कि "दशनी शराब दी" यह गझल  यह रिमिक्स में अच्छा लगेगा। 

     आमिर अली कहते है" यह रिमिक्स गझल अब रिलीज हो चुकी है और मुझे अब तक काफी अच्छा रिस्पॉन्स नीला है,में यह आशा करता हु युथ को यह गझल जरुर अच्छी लगेगी जैसे असल गझल पसंद कि गयी वैसे ही इसे भी पसंद किया जायेगा।

This year the contest received an overwhelming response with more than 360 online registrations and over 110 portfolios received from fashion schools across the country including National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT); National Institute of Design (NID); Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF); Symbiosis Institute of Design, Arch Academy of Fashion, Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) & JD Institute of Fashion Technology.

The short listed finalists from the regional rounds in Mumbai, Kolkata & Chennai will be competing at The Debut finale to be held in New Delhi. An eminent panel of representatives from the design team of ITC and other fashion institutes like NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, along with renowned fashion designers of Fashion Design Council of India will judge the winner. The winner from the Fashion Design discipline will get a sponsored trip to UK for a befitting course at the London School of Fashion.

The 15 candidates in Mumbai were judged by the celebrated fashion designer Troy Costa & faculty from NIFT. The candidates have been selected after the first round, wherein their illustration-based design portfolio was evaluated.

Excel Entertainment’s upcoming next project Dil Dhadakne Do, directed by Zoya Akhtar has a very interesting cast with names like Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar attached to it.

We now hear that Ranveer Singh has a very central character to play in the film. So much so, that the actor has removed 70 – 75 days to shoot this project.

The film will be shot over approximately 80 days. 

A major chunk of the shoot will have Ranveer Singh being part of it.

The young actor will be seen in a different look. His look is key to the role so much so that the makers are keen to keep it under wraps. 

Ranveer who is personally looking forward for the film has willingly blocked a chunk of his dates for shooting Zoya's film.

Confirms Ritesh Sidhwani, "This is the first time you will be seeing Ranveer Singh as a leading man in an urban film. His look is very chic & suave. Therefore, we have restricted him from doing any other film or endorsement during our schedule of 4 months."

The film will be going on floors soon and will be releasing on June 05 2015, which also happens to be the first film to release after IPL.
