Versatile actor Arshad Warsi who will next be seen in Samir Tewari’s ‘Mr.Joe B Carvalho’ which would be 2014’s first detective comedy film, has been quite a taskmaster! We hear the actor has shot 70% of the film with a knee problem, and did not complain about it even a bit!!

We have heard of several incidents where actors get hurt or an injury on the sets and despite that shooting for the entire scene, but to shoot an entire film with an injury & not show it one bit on the screen is quite brave and remarkable!!!

It so happened, that Arshad had already committed his dates for the shoot and the unit was also prepared to commence the shooting, and Arshad being a thorough   professional did not want to upset any schedules as there are many people from the unit who earn in daily wages.

Director Samir Tewari said "Arshad had severe pain on his knee cap and his physiotherapist was present on the set throughout  who would regularly make him exercise and do his acupuncture before & post shoot, and he all performed  the stunts all by himself with the continuous pain in his knee joint.

Arshad will be seen playing the role of a detective for the very first time and a combination of Action /Drama with comedy of errors!! He will be seen sharing screen space with Soha Ali Khan & Javed Jaffrey.

Industry insiders say that this is huge and a stroke of genius marketing strategy. Both marketing giants are known to do something big every time in marketing.

Songs are a main stay of Bollywood films and a major marketing tool. All films put approximately 50 per cent of their television budget to promote music.

However this year's biggest film Dhoom 3 will not show any of its songs. No songs will be seen on television or internet or on any promotional platform.

Right from the very beginning everything about the film has been kept hush hush and everything has been extremely secretive.

The story line of the film also has not been released yet, even though the film is only a month away from release.

Only one promotional video track is out with Katrina Kaif dancing to Dhoom Machale. No other film tracks will be seen.

Instead they will be releasing song teasers of 30 seconds for the audiences to get a glimpse and feel of the songs and content. Audiences will be able to see the full song only in the film.

Malang the next song of Dhoom 3 is a high on energy song.

In terms of scale or budgets it is going to be massive.

The song is around the central theme of gymnastic and will have 200 dancers in the frame.

All these dancers were especially flown form the U.S to shoot the song.

They are professional gymnast who were trained on the song and have beautifully performed.

They were put up in Mumbai for 20 days for training and shooting.

The song was shot at Reliance studios. It was a humongous set which took nearly two months to be created.

Even the costumes for the song were elaborate and sourced from the US itself.

The budget for the song is roughly about 5 crore plus.

This would be including the fees of the professionals hired, logistics involved for the same, costume, elaborate sets etc.

Dhoom 3 is one of the most anticipated films. The film will have high action sequences and the songs will also depict the same energy levels

Malang will also be starring Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The actor of Commando and Force fame, Vidyut Jamwal agreed to do a friendly appearance in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next film, Bullet Raja for the director and for the hard core action scenes.

Tigmanshu Dhulia was very keen to have Vidyut on board to play the special role in the film and after seeing the action scenes, the only action hero of this generation quickly agreed to play the part.

While Vidyut was performing the action scene on the sets, the actor left the entire cast and crew stunned by jumping in to save a stunt man from falling off a cliff.

As the stuntman lost his balance, everyone around on the sets freezed, while Vidyut jumped in immediately, without any harness to save the man from falling off, who could have been badly injured.

SAB TV’s popular show Baalveer has completed 300 episodes and viewers will be in for a treat as grand celebrations in form of a maha-episode are in store. The entire pari-lok will be seen rejoicing as Baalveer has successfully defeated Chhal pari (Sugandha Mishra) in her first attempt. In order to take revenge, Chhal pari disguises herself as a ‘banjara’ and enters pari-lok to be a part of the celebrations. Dressed in vibrant banjara clothes, Sugandha will sing and dance with all the paris, camouflaging her true evil identity.

As she was practicing for the dance sequence, she hurt her knee quite seriously and was advised rest. However, the talented actress did not step back from or slack on her commitment towards her work. Inspite of the pain, she rehearsed relentlessly and insisted on taking a break only after the 6 hour shoot was complete. Sources from the set tell us Sugandha had a smile the entire time, making it impossible to guess that she was going through so much of discomfort.

With Sugandha’s entertaining performance and the festive mood in pari-lok, will she gain victory with her new plan as she enters pari-lok in a disguised form?

CRITIC VIEW.
Kareena kapoor khan and Imran khan lineup  after the last debacle EK MAIN AUR EKK TU. The combination has never set the screen on fire as the chemistry between them is evidently cold.

GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN! Is KARAN JOHAR’S fixation of making rom-coms and not thinking beyond is a forbidden zone for this entertainment pasha.

 Sriram [Imran Khan] is a guy who is not committed to one and does not give importance to emotional side of relationships whether family or his girl friend’s. Dia [Kareena Kapoor Khan] a over enthusiastic social activist want to put system principles at it place  and a set of beliefs that determine somebody's behavior and outlook, falls in love with sriram and in courtship  her professional madness creates a different parameters to their relationship   which troop them away from each other.

Shraddha Kapoor extra large cameo fits the menu as a refreshing change for a while. The marriage portion where sriram run offs is luminous and next half is venture into an environment of a small village of Gujarat where he is back to woo Dia to return with him and live happily forever.


Though a delightful movie to watch but fails to reach its conclusion as a chestnut told a number of times in our bollywood rom-coms. But those who watch this genre of cinema may come out feeling routine overjoyed for a moment.

 Imran khan is adorable as ever you can’t take your eyes away from him and Kareena  is lusciously good in her looks and has some space to prove and show her impressive talented side. Aggressive performance without a doubt.

 Punit Malhotra has a flamboyance of delivering  his stlye of cinema I HATE LUV STORYS and now  GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN may the legacy beckon of new inspiration in his next venture.

Some portions of Tumbad, which is scheduled to release worldwide next year, were screened at the NFDC Film Bazaar in Goa last year, where it was hailed a visual masterpiece by those present.

Ali Asgar, who plays the character of Vicky in Jeannie Aur Juju, will be seen playing the role of a female character once again but this time as Vicky’s ‘Bua’.  The audience will be in for a comic surprise to see the dual characters, performing differently with loads of humor and entertainment.

Ali, who is popular for portraying female roles, considers the transformation from one character to another quite easy. Playing a female character is not a big challenge for him. The time and effort which goes on make-up and costume change, does not affect Ali. He reads his script and instantly adapts to any role he is presented with. It will be interesting to watch Ali as he constantly shifts between the two roles and he knows his job well.

While speaking with Ali, he said, “Bua is full of life, she is jovial, funny, loving, unmarried and lives life king size. It was a pleasant experience to play two characters simultaneously. The viewers will enjoy watching Bua, as she bonds with Jeannie and others.”

Interestingly Bua’s character has a connection with the fantasy world of ‘Jinland’ as she loved a Genie in the past. Jeannie and Jia are on a mission to find Bua’s love interest from Jinland and reunite them.
