An upcoming American Science Fiction Action film, Riddick is the 3rd film in The Chronicles of Riddick film series starring the ultimate action hero Vin Diesel, as the title character. 

Written and Directed by David Twohy, Riddick is a dark action-packed science fiction having known to contain some of the most gruesome yet breathtaking battle sequences. Reprising his role, as an extremely mobile & stealthy Anti-Hero, Vin Diesel is back in one of his most famous avatars of all times. With the last film of the franchise released in 2004, this film has been much anticipated and awaited since both the earlier films received a cult status over this period.

All set for a worldwide release on the 6th of September, the film revolves around Richard Riddick fighting for survival on a planet with alien predators before eventually going back to save his entire Furyan Race from destruction. 

“The Riddick Series has been a glorious franchise in the west, and we thought it was the right time to bring this cult to India. We are set to release the film pan India in 4 different languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Owing to the fact that Vin Diesel is a name synonymous with action we believe that the audience will definitely anticipate the release of this film” says Deepak Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, PVR Pictures Ltd.

Rohit Khaitan’s ‘Prague’ will hit the cinemas on 6th September, 2013. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had raised objection on the song from the film, Bottal Khol. Composed by Tony Kakkar and sung by Neha Kakkar and Tony, the number got held up at the censor board, resulting in delay of the film’s release.
Under the banner Glamour Struck Productions Pvt. Ltd ‘Prague’ made in association with Maxwell Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is directed by Ashish R. Shukla (Creative Head-Dev.D) and stars Chandan Roy Sanyal, Elena Kazan, Arfi Lamba and Mayank . The Music is by Atif Afzal and some other guest composers, Lyrics by Varun Grover, Sound by Sanjay Chaturvedi, Editing by Meghna Manchanda Sen, Action by Parvez Shaikh, Art direction by Siddharth Mathawan & Mrinal Das, DI & VFX by Reliance Media Works.
For the first time not one but three music companies- Crescendo (earlier known as BMG Crescendo), Universal Music and Times Music is releasing the music of the film. The album of ‘Prague’  has more than 25 sound tracks and background pieces based on several themes which will spread on digital platforms and Retail Chains worldwide. Prague audio cds are now available at all music stores.
The film is a psychological ride which takes you to the darkest corners of your mind, the shutdown alleys of your soul and the graveyard of your heart.

Although she was by SRK’s side consistently during the promotions of the film, she had to give this event a miss for professional reasons.
“Deepika had a prior commitment to shoot for an ad in Milan. The shoot had been planned four months ago. Despite her keenness to attend Shah Rukh’s party, it was always known that she wouldn’t be able to make it. She had informed him about the same,” says an insider close to Deepika.
The trip couldn’t be postponed as immediately after her return, Deepika needs to wrap up Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela and move on to the first schedule of Happy New Year (also co-starring SRK). She also has Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny Fernandes to shoot for. “This is the only small window that Deepika saw in the middle of her cramped shooting schedule. So she couldn’t have shifted it,” adds the insider.
For the past few months, Deepika has remained busy with back-to-back shoots and promotions for films like Race 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Just before leaving for Milan, the actor followed a tradition she has always sworn by. Being an avid devotee of Lord Ganesha, she paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple amidst tight security. Despite repeated attempts, Deepika couldn’t be reached for a comment in Milan.

‘The Conjuring’ has been growing from strength to strength. The film which did a business of 3.55 crores INR (gross) and 2.60 crores INR (net) in its  first weekend, has gone on to collect 2.65 crores (grossand 2 crores INR (net) at the box office this weekend. Despite the record breaking success of ‘Chennai Express’, ‘The Conjuring’ continued to do very well, witnessing 85-100% occupancy in several theatres across the country.

The film was released in 128 screens across the country. This is by far the highest ever collection for a non dubbed horror film!

Contrary to initial buzz that the 3D version of 1975 hit Sholay was to release on August 15, sources now say that the film will hit the marquee on Big B’s birthday.
Insiders say that with the 3D film now most likely to release on October 11, its promo could be out on August 15.
A source says, “The date was specifically chosen as it coincides with Bachchan’s big day. He is the biggest star we have today and what better day to release the film.” Jayantilal Gada remained unavailable for comment

The winners were chosen after a meticulous selection process, The 9th Annual Gemfields & Nazraana Retail Jeweller India Awards 2013 had a specialized physical judging round of the nominated creations to make the entire judging process more comprehensive. Following the initial selection process, the physical jury round allowed a thorough evaluation of the designs on quality, overall commercial and creative appeal. “With a fiercely independent judging process involving some of the most respected professionals in the field of fashion, art, corporate, entertainment, jewellery and marketing, The Retail Jeweller India Awards has already established itself as India's most premier business awards for the Retail Jewellery industry,” reaffirms Bhatta. Out of more than 1000 pan-India entries competing for the top slot only 180 entries got an opportunity to impress the grand jury. These 180 finalists have been screened through a rigorous 3-tier selection process that includes initial screening by IMRB followed by a physical judging round by the jury. The final round of judging saw a critical daylong evaluation of these 180 designs at the Trident, BKC, Mumbai by the esteemed jury panel.

SHAHRUKH KHAN he has been a epitome of passion,romance and a true lover on screen with his magical eyes and a attitude which is  matchless to  any other star.SRK has given some memorable performance in begining of his career,which is not easy to be replaced by any RK's or AK's.CHENNAI EXPRESS has some remarkable moments but lacks the charisma of SRK's presentation on the screen,as he has replicated his own performance leaving nothing new for his fans.CHENNAI EXPRESS is just another potboiler served with more fancy framings and exotic location of south.SRK has just got the timing right this EID that will keep the box office ringing.

DEEPIKA PADUKONE with her stellar performance this time again, she is the one who has got the accolades and stormingly successful collection to CHENNAI EXPRESS.The reigning queen of Bollywood has reason to smile as success of the movie is going to be crowned on her head.She is the only actress with style ,performance and chutzpah.

ROHIT SHETTY has shown yet again his commercial mastery of making a blockbuster with a shoe string budget.
